This was our second stay at Peter’s home in the last year and I cannot over emphasize the location if you have a student—especially a student athlete—at Butler. My son came over after move-in/practice and we were able to easily get to Broad Ripple, Newfields, the airport and more. We played cards and board games (provided!) and had the option to dine-in or out at our leisure. With limited hotel options around Butler, especially for out of state students/parentsthis home is a phenomenal option (esp. when you start thinking about cost of hotel+cost of Ubers). The access to the Canal Trail running year round is fantastic (I highly recommend running/walking down toward Newfields/Indianapolis Museum of Art for the Lake Loop and outdoor sculpture gardens/exhibits available for free)—plus it allows you to walk the entire campus in different ways via different routes which helps you get to know the area. Mama Carollas, Delicias, Petit Chou and even Twenty-Tap provide tasty meals—but remember that IN law doesn’t allow beer/wine sales at grocery stores after 8p on Sundays. A big thanks to Peter who has been responsive, accommodating and helpful our last two stays—we hope to be back again soon!

We had a relaxing stay. The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were mostly comfortable (a little squeaky, but not awful) The driveway was nice to have for off the street parking.

If you are coming to the area for a short trip, family gathering, or event this is a must stay. It’s like being at home when one is traveling. The 3 BR, 2 bath with a downstairs area is plenty of room for the kids to relax or family board games. With Butler University Across the street makes a great environment for a morning run or walk. Along with Butler U there is a well maintained city park for bird watching. We have marked this house to stay the next time we are in the area. Don’t pass up on this great VRBO!

This was a great place to stay overall and we really enjoyed having the backyard area! Only issues were a small leak in the roof. It didn’t really affect our stay, but we let the owner know about it, and they said they were going to fix it immediately. Also the basement was a bit dingy, but we didn’t need to use it. I wouldn’t recommend planning to have someone stay down there

Cute and cozy home for an overnight girl’s getaway. Had what we needed. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Plenty of parking room for 3-4 cars. Neighborhood felt safe. My only complaint is that it wasn’t within a less than 10 minute walk to the venue we were going to, and that was the reason I booked the house after messaging the property manager. Not a huge deal.

It's hard to find accommodations close to Butler's campus (let alone right across the street!). We stayed for one night to see a music performance on campus, but it was a pleasant stay.

Fantastic location, home is well-appointed. Utilized washer/dryer for doing college student’s laundry, loved the games and puzzles. Cooked most of our meals at the house—will return (though it is often booked!). Thank you, Peter!

Second stay here. Nice, clean, updated house. Short walk to Hinkle and Butler University campus. Central location to winter holiday activities nearby in Carmel, downtown and Indy Zoo. We'll definitely return!

I was traveling with three teens to go to the Bittersweet Daze concert at Holliday Park. We could not have asked for a better location. The accommodations were perfect. We took the opportunity to eat breakfast at the restaurant recommended by the host. It was delicious. If we ever come back to Indy we would definitely stay here again.

We were in town just shy of 2 weeks for a youth bowling tournament. The house was perfect for our stay. In between bowling we enjoyed playing board games, resting at the house and loved that we didn’t have to go to a laundry mat. It was a beautiful area. The Host were very responsive to any questions or needs. I would recommend this Vrbo to everyone 100%. We will probably be back for Junior Gold in a couple years and hope this house will be available.

Great location, cute house with all the amenities. It was clean, well decorated, go Butler! Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the early morning thunderstorm too. Numbers on house need to be like the neighbors, closer to the road and larger because the numbering is a bit wacky there. Didn’t appreciate the expectation that guests take linens off beds and go down the precarious stairs to the basement to put them in the washer. Which was full so we just left them there. We are a group of older women and those stairs are not fun for us. Thanks again for a wonderful night stay.

We had a quick stay in Indy before we headed to Gatlinburg TN. Peter was quick to respond and gave us all the information we needed on time. It’s a great location and a great place to stay!

Although I had no choice but to mark all of the categories above, unfortunately, we did not stay at this property. We were all set to leave town to go to Indianapolis (2.5 hours away) - the host had even given me the code to the ho use - when I got a message from the host saying that VRBO double-booked their property. The other group were already in the house that we paid for, so he had to cancel our reservation and refund our money. I had to scramble to find another house for my husband and another couple. I don't know how VRBO double-booked the house and informed us only at the last minute, but this is extremely disappointing. I don't blame the hosts; I blame VRBO's booking system. I would caution others to double-check and confirm their reservations well ahead of time, and even a day before the reservation, to make sure you have a place to stay. Fortunately, a host on another rental booking site was able to offer us a lovely place at the last minute.

While visiting family for Thanksgiving, my family of 6 rented this home. It's a super cute 3 bedroom/2 bathroom bungalow with all the space your family could desire. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries in case you forgot something. The kitchen was equipped with a variety of coffee pods and creamers, which absolutely exceeded our expectations, buy was so incredibly appreciated. My kids loved the variety of board games offered, which kept them occupied the entire trip without the need for electronics. The home is decorated so beautifully and offered such a peaceful place to stay. I would happily stay here again.

The house was right across the street from the Butler baseball field. Clean and convenient. Perfect for visiting our daughter at Butler. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!
