We had a good stay in Lawrence. The pool and the outside area great at this hotel. There’s fire pit and the pool is perfect for kids to enjoy during the stay.

Warning! Don’t stay here! We stayed here for a three day volleyball tournament. The cleanliness was horrible, upon check in our friend’s toilet was covered in poop and they didn’t have anyone to clean it. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, to top it off- we had ants in our room getting into our snacks and crawling in the fridge area (I included a couple pics of some of them), our friends had spiders, spider bites and issues with air conditioning. They completely ran out of towels on day 2. The silverware at breakfast was not clean (thank goodness there were disposable products available) and the breakfast was not great and made us all sick to our stomach. Our hot water kept going out in the shower and we had to take cold showers many times. WAY over priced for what we got. I will never stay here again.

Overall, it was fine. Not exceptional, but fine. The beds are not very comfortable, and the pillows are pretty terrible. Our bath mat was a ratty, threadbare mess. It would also be nice to have a shelf on both sides of both beds. Breakfast options were very basic, but fine.

Looks nice upon entering. Staff was freindly and helpful. Elevator thumps loud and hard, seems to need work and carpet in it is very dirty. There is no hot tub, large pool. Pool water cold didn't seem heated. Room was okay, biggest compaints were the very stained and filthy carpets, thin old and rough bath towels and extremely cheap thin toilet paper, the kind your lucky enough to have in a port a potty. Breakfast china was a nice touch but would rather have fresh choice of food. Regular eggs from mix were fine, as was some sort of sausage if you eat meat, stale bread, inedible hocky puck french toast sticks, fruit salad with orange rinds left on it was old and soured. Nice outdoor area with fire pit iff dining room. Brought food outaide and waa lovked out, hubby waa still inside and had keys, so be aware of that ;) Price was approx 115, you get what you pay for. Got free drinks with hotels.com booking, had a choice of soda or water becuase we were told everything else was "too expensive" lol. Way to make your guests feel special!

The elevator was broken , and we were on the second floor. My husband has a medical condition the makes climbing stairs difficult for him . The manager helped us Cary our bags upstairs and made himself available to carry things down at departure. I would stay here again as I’m sure this was a one time problem.

Our room was great and the beds were comfortable. My only real complaint is that while the pool room was warm, the pool itself was kinda chilly. Other than that, I had a great experience at this hotel. My only recommendation is to put new carpet throughout. It seemed old and a little dirty and took away from the rest of the hotel. Service was great. Front desk people were friendly and a joy to deal with. Overall experience... Excellent! Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay, TV worked, with a very simple to read, laminated guide by TV Shower easy to operate 💦👍Real plates and cups for coffee! Real silverware☺️good breakfast👍 air conditioner reasonably quiet. No noise from hallway☺️

It was nice, clean, reasonably priced, however I did experience an issue with the water getting too hot in the shower and the sink. No matter how much I tried to turn down the temp, it was still near scalding. I let the lady at the front desk know about it in the morning, she said that she would take care of it.

Accommodating. Good location between Lawrence and Overland Park. Although, Staff shortage in the Housekeeping department. We stayed 3 days and needed room changed and asked but it never happened. We had to help ourselves to towels, etc.

One of the 2 luggage carts had flat tires. There was plumbing backu, which caused back flow into the shower drain from other rooms in the hotel. Towels were small and thin.

First time staying at a hotel that they did have cold water. Shower wouldn’t not cool down from scolding hot. Carpet was not clean and the bed was uncomfortable.

There was only hot water. So hot that you could cook with that. Called front desk and the answer I've got was that they were going to run the washing machines to see if I could get a colder water. I did not worked and could not get a bath.
