But... once you make that trek, your oasis awaits you. Feel free to take in the sunset in one of our rocking chairs on the front porch.
Upon entering the home, on the main floor you have a living room with one queen size sofa sleeper, a dining room for 10 people, a bathroom, our fully remodeled kitchen and our laundry room.
Climb another set of stairs to our second floor. Here we have 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen size beds, 1 with a king size bed. Our 2nd full bathroom is also on the 2nd floor.
Climbing yet another flight of stairs brings you to our 3rd floor loft. In our loft area, we have a dedicated work space and a queen size bed. There is no door to the loft area, but a private set of stairs from the 2nd floor will bring you up to the 3rd floor.
Price reflected is base rate for 6 guests. 7 guests or more will pay an additional $5 per night per guest.
All guests are required to sign additional paperwork with us, to include a rental agreement, pet addendum (when applicable) and check in instructions. All handled through DocuSign.
We love fur babies, but only allow dogs (no cats, sorry). We allow up to 3 dogs with prior approval. Guest must also pay a $100 non refundable pet fee charged AFTER initial booking payment. All dogs must be kenneled or coralled in our laundry room with a baby gate when left alone in the home. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. With all of the stairs in this home, we do not feel it is suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues.

Everything was as advertised and check in was simple. Communication was great throughout the process. Very convenient location!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house gave a warm and cozy feel during the cold weekend. It was nice to not be right in the middle of everything and still be so close to everything at the same time! Tim and Tara are also very nice, responded to any questions we had within minutes, and made sure we were able to check in and out with ease!

It was great to have the space a house can provide as opposed to hotel rooms. Home was very comfortable and easy to find and keep clean. Enclosed back yard a real plus. Close to the city and incline.

I would fully recommend this house to stay at. The house is even better in person than the pictures. The owners were wonderful to deal with. It is in a great location close to a couple of cool breweries. One was dog friendly. Both were walkable for those who like a short walk about a mile. We enjoyed having the dogs with us and the fenced in yard was a plus. Parking was never a problem and we had 2 trucks.

We had a wonderful time at Tara and Tim's place on Mount Washington. We found the house very clean and spacious. Our granddaughter loved having her own room on the third floor.
The neighborhood was great for walking the dog and we were also able to walk to the grocery store. Emerald View Park has an area for dogs and a great view of Pittsburgh. The location also left us close to many attractions in the city.
Tim and Tara quickly addressed the couple of questions we had about the property. We appreciated the assistance and enjoyed our entire say.
We look forward to visiting again and further exploring Pittsburgh. We hope the Monongahela incline is operating when we return as it was closed for renovations.

My family of 4 stayed in this home for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The home was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the kids to spread out and for us to host local family members. Thank you for helping us create great memories in Pittsburgh!

A little hefty on the cleaning fee to be honest I thought that was a bit ridiculous but other than that it's an old house so there are small issues here and there but nice overall.
