We wanted to get away for the weekend and booked last minute. This place was amazing; great location, great food nearby, easy access to Joshua Tree. The bonus room is separate from the house, so 2 bedrooms in the home. We visited in July and we kept cool with the pool, and the air-conditioning. Parking provided is covered, which was great. The critters came to play at night, but bug repellent helped. There are red ants in the sand/dirt part of the backyard, but nothing to obsess over. The view at night is amazing, can definitely see all of the stars. The rooms were relaxing, the beds were soft and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.

I booked this place for Mother’s Day weekend for my kids, my partner and myself. It was a perfect place with plenty to do. From the mini putting green, to the cowboy pool and just being able to lounge outside and soak in the sun during the day and star gaze at night, WE HAD A GREAT TIME! Also the sauna was amazing!!! Was able to Bluetooth my phone and listen to music while relaxing in the sauna; much needed for this hard working mom!
We will definitely be coming back for future trips to the desert!
The host have a very lovely, place decorated to a tee.
The swings outside was a favorite of my preteen in her words “it’s giving desert girl aesthetic”.
Great location! Close to food, grocery store as well!
We can’t wait to book this place again!!!

This is a great house for indoor/outdoor living. Hosts were very communicative. Easy check in and out and nice and clean, with the lights on for our late arrival. Close to the park and downtown Joshua Tree. If it were a teeny bit warmer during our visit we would have enjoyed the back yard. Loved the breezeway and hanging chairs. Wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed this property. Situated amongst other residential homes right near the Joshua Tree Park entrance this home was light, bright, airy, and VERY well maintained. The entire property appears to have been recently updated and all in working order. The decor was very tasteful and comfortable. We had a very relaxing stay.

This property was amazing to stay at for a short weekend trip! The amenities were perfect, it was very spacious, beautiful scenery, and an overall easy check-in and check-out process. We would definitely come stay here again and probably bring more people with us because while it was just the two of us, it could have easily slept six people.

We absolutely loved this house! It was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for making meals and keeping ourselves entertained when we weren’t in the Park. Mattresses are very firm, so bring extra padding if that’s not your thing. The hosts were great communicators, with a helpful welcome guide. WiFi was great too!

The worst experience I’ve ever had would never recommend this place

Central to Joshua Tree, the house is about 15 minutes from the west entrance to the park and 35 minutes tot he north entrance. The Cowboy tub is a big bonus for the kids (and adults) on the hot days. The property is very private with nice views, and panoramic windows to make early evenings really nice indoors.
There are a lot of restaurants close by, but the market is in Yucca about ten minutes from the home. There is no microwave and no toaster, but the kitchen has everything else you will need to feed a family of 4. There are a lot of blankets, pillows and towels. Sauna is good for one person comfortably, and the workout area is comfortable.

We needed a quick retreat to relax and unwind from a stressful competition. The house looks perfect, we book and arrive. We show up and the house is nothing close to the pictures it’s WAY BETTER. The amazing minimalist style makes it easier to unwind and enjoy the small things. The small touches this house uses only enhances it’s beauty. It’s not too far away from grocery stores and really close to some sight seeing and specialty shops. The cowboy tub in the back was the highlight very clean and perfect temperature in the 100 degree weather. The putting area and cornhole kept my kids happy and for me the sauna and a quick dumbbell workout circuit is just what I needed to get me back to my happy place. The owners are amazing and have a detailed guide on how to best enjoy the area. If I could I would leave more stars amazing people and an amazing location. We will be back before we know it

Property was super clean, inviting, loved the bottle of champagne and snacks waiting for us on arrival. The property has everything you’d need!! It was our first time in the area, very good location, close to downtown and entrance to the National park. Would definitely recommend this tranquil house. Hosts were very communicative throughout the stay. If you’re thinking about a trip to Joshua Tree, hit this place up!!

Perfect home for your JT stay. This house has everything one could ask for. Loved our stay here!

The property was safe, clean and as described. The design was cute and very Joshua Tree so we were happy with that.
However due to the colder weather we experienced the property was quite cold. It was hard to be warm in the kitchen area or in the bathroom since there was no heater nearby so that was quite uncomfortable. The "bonus room" was beyond freezing upon arrival and smelled very odd. We didn't even use that room as the only bathroom as in the main house.
The other disappointing aspect were the bedrooms. The one by the bathroom especially had the worst mattress we've ever experienced in that we could feel the springs beneath us. We hardly slept due to that and also note neither of the bedrooms has actual curtains. It's a sheer sheet hardly covering the windows but no curtain or blinds. Not chance of sleeping in so we were up by 6am each day.
Everything else was fine so if you bring a sleep mask and don't mind that one bed, it's sufficient. It was unreasonably cold that weekend but still the desert does get cold at night and for the bathroom to be that ice cold, it was so uncomfortable.
The hosts were very responsive so that was nice and very much appreciated. I think this is a great home for one couple or maybe 2-3 friends but it is a small home. It is walkable to town where there are a few restaurants, shops and coffee shops.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful property. Our stay was a working holiday where we worked during the day then explored the park in the afternoon. The WiFi was fast and the location to the small town of Joshua Tree and the park were ideal.
We used many of the hosts recommended restaurants and bars and really liked them all. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. I’d stay again! Plus looking forward to a stay with warmer weather to enjoy more of the outside amenities.

The Palo Santo house was wonderful!
You can stargaze in the front or backyard at night, warm up in the sauna, and the entrance to the park is just a few minutes down the road.
We loved the area - it is very safe and friendly. There is a camera at the front gate for added security, and the amenities inside are all updated and beautiful! We especially loved the modern design shower.
Air conditioning in each room works really well, so escaping the heat in warmer months is no problem. The cowboy pool is refreshing and perfect for dipping in during the daytime.
There are shops and convenience stores close by, and the house has everything you could need. All 3 bedrooms have soft bedding, clean atmosphere and their own climate control.
Lucas and Jen are amazing hosts and make themselves available incase any questions arise.
THANK YOU!!
We can’t wait to stay here again!
