We had the most memorable stay! Our room overlooking the pond and mountains was fantastic and the fireplace kept us toasty. The lobby with it's grand windows perfectly framing the mountains was the perfect place to sit and relax in the afternoon. Warm cider and fresh baked cookies every day at noon was a welcome treat. The grounds were beautiful and we were roughly 35 minutes to the entrance of Yellowstone. The drive to the park along the Yellowstone River was gorgeous. We highly recommend taking a Yellowstone guided tour with Sage Lodge. Garrett, our guide, was awesome. We learned a ton and he did a great job catering to our multi generational group. We will go back for sure!

No pool, no basic amenities like slippers, shower caps for a hotel at this price supplied.
Disappointing and expensive.

This resort is top notch. What stands out the most is the customer service- unreal!!! The hospitality team accommodates everything and really tries to please their guests. You will notice right away how much teamwork is preset there: all employees work together, and they are all well trained at different tasks. You get treated like royalty there- we were greeted outside the front door when we arrived at 10 pm! They treat guests like family- the overall atmosphere at the resort is warm, zen and peaceful. Definitely a must see!

Sage Lodge is in a great location if you’re headed into Yellowstone and the view is unbeatable. The price is a bit inflated for the amenities offered and level of service. I would go back but now only to visit the restaurant or spa.

This resort was amazing. I think it has so many positives. The bed ruined my back, I had to sleep on the couch. The spa however was elite. I loved it. The people were very pleasing and nice. Accommodating for sure. Very upscale. We enjoyed it very much.

The lodge is beautiful. They need to take the 40/day lodge fee and put it towards the beds. I had read some reviews about the beds but they are hard. We even asked that they add a pillow top to ours. They added a comforter to it but it was still rough. My back was killing me. Tossing and turning all night. Also beware that when you put a card on file they place a hold for what they believe you will spend charging to the room. I was not aware of that. I thought they double charged me because there was over $1,700 even though I had settled prior to check out. The property is beautiful but it’s secluded, due to the weather we opted to UBER- bad idea, rather than rent a car. The roads were rough. UBER charged us $300 to drive to Sage. Then transport service because hotel doesn’t have shuttle was $190. Just seems like for $500/night they would have a shuttle service. They did opt to take us to corner store and Chico if we wanted-those are within 2-5 miles but they won’t pick us up if it’s after 6pm so we didn’t eat anywhere else other than hotel because we didn’t want to pay another crazy Uber fee or get stuck at chico hot springs. All in all it’s beautiful location and park was fun to do. Glad we went but probably won’t be back.

Although a bit pricy everything was wonderful. It was nice that gratuities were included in he spa bill and we didn’t have to worry about that. The spa staff were amazing,

Clean, beautiful, and the food offered at the restaurant was delicious. At $1200/night, I was disappointed that we were denied a ride to a venue 2 miles away when there were 2 hotel owned SUVs sitting unused right outside. A hotel of this level should be more accommodating to its guests.

The property is amazing the location is surreal. For the most part the staff was also terrific. Dusty in particular and Jen our daily breakfast service person was a delight. However the front desk staff in particular the gentlemen when we checked in was not great and required more training.

Exceptional doesn't even begin to describe how fantastic this slice of heaven is. Everything from check in, to the rooms, to the on site restaurant to the superb service and friendliness of the staff is 100% on target. They haven't missed a single thing in the their attention to detail. This resort is worth every bit you will spend to be there. Wow! We already made reservations for next year!

Absolutely beautiful property in quiet secluded area with gorgeous views. Property is fairly new and rooms are clean, comfortable and contemporary. Less than an hour to Yellowstone. Spa, trout pond, walking trails, activities are all great. Two very good on site restaurants. Very small town is a couple of minutes away by car with some other very good dining options too. Staff were exceptional! We had such a relaxing stay - didn't want to leave... Highly recommend!

Absolutely extraordinary from the moment you walk in! The view of the mountain peaks from the lobby is incredible. The room is so cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace and warmth in the room. Having a Nespresso coffee maker in the room was special too! You’ve got to spend time here... totally worth it.

First, this is a beautiful property situated between two mountain ranges. The views are incredible! Rooms are spacious and comfortable with gas fireplaces, large modern bathrooms and nice touches like a window seat, mini fridge and reading lights. Our bed was a bit hard but slept well. We did find that extra blankets would be nice but they were delivered quickly when we called the front desk. Everyone was so nice and accommodating! The only negatives to our stay were: the strong permeating smell of Brussel Sprouts throughout our stay (even in our room); the very open lobby/restaurant is loud and carried into our room especially when live music is happening in the lobby; and the restaurant is overpriced for what it is. We had room service one night and tried several appetizers which were delivered very quickly and were excellent. But when we ate at the grill, we were disappointed. Our server was inept or inexperienced— no mention of specials, no knowledge of the menu and once we had our food, she did not return to check on drink or water refills! My husband loved the trout but the bison spaghetti was just okay (the nuts were odd). And for a venue with sports on several TVs, condiments being filled on the bar and the noise level, it felt more like a lounge than a nice restaurant with expensive entrees. We did not venture out to the hot tub/spring as it was a good walk outside through snow/ice and very small. Finally, guests coming to Sage in snowy months should bring a 4wd.
