Archetypo’s private villa was the perfect 25th anniversary present for my wife and I to experience Naxos. A family run business, their wonderful son George picked us up from the port and drove us to our accommodations at the edge of town. The room was so well designed and every detail was covered for our romantic getaway. From the hot tub in our room to the bicycle rides to the old city and port, we felt like every detail was thought through. The private breakfasts served in our private garden each morning was the perfect touch. I’d give our hosts 10 stars if I could and would say our stay at Archetypo was much more enjoyable than our stay at the Ritz in Istanbul. Thank you so much for your kind and generous hospitality and we look forward to our next stay with you in Naxos! One thing to note, if you want to rent a car (and they have them for rent on the premises), you will need to get an international drivers’ permit in advance. If you are coming from the US, you can get one from AAA but it takes a few weeks. Nonetheless, our hosts recommended Kostas a local driver and guide at Naxos Transfer 24 that gave us a wonderful experience of this beautiful island so if you can’t drive, you have options.

Our stay at this perfect location was only bettered by the outstanding hospitality and care that was given to us. Fresh and warm breakfasts were delivered each day at the time we requested. George picked us up from the port and returned us for our next ferry ride. They offer car rentals right from the property and local rates - but better cars. We used the free bikes to go to town our first day. Looks were provided and we strolled along the main strip. Recommendations were given upon arrival and all proved to be accurate and helpful. We would love to stay with them again. Wonderful host family.

This is an amazing boutique! The owner is one of the nicest people we've met and took excellent care of us. She made us feel very safe, special, and comfortable throughout our entire stay. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay at Archetypo!!

We really enjoyed staying in the traditional villa with private pool. The accommodation was clean and tidy and we loved the outside space. The breakfast basket was incredible with lots of food! The location was good and easily walkable to the town.

Amazing hotel. A must stay if you’re in the Naxos area.
The suite and grounds are fantastic and nicely decorated. Plenty of space and just what you need for a relaxing getaway. The accommodation is a short walk into the center which takes around 5 minutes and about a 2 minute walk to a supermarket.
The breakfast is amazing and you get a good selection of breakfast good to keep you full for hours.
The hosts were also amazing, friendly and helpful, includes transfers to the accommodation and were there with anything that we needed.

This place is absolutely amazing! I don’t have enough words to describe. It’s a beautiful, clean, cozy and charming place, but the highlight is Mina and her family. From the amazing breakfast basket, to the help in every minor thing and all by making me feel so welcome. It’s like the Greek family you didn’t know you had. It’s so recommended, and I’ll be back here for sure!
