Great Hotel - only problem - Noise from other rooms … walls too thin

Great location.
Good value for money with overall good service and facilities.
The building starts to be a bit worn down but the location, cleanliness and service + parking spaces outside the hotel weight it up.
Definitely worth a stay when visiting Épernay!

I was here with a group and we were all staying around Epernay. The hotel staff were great and friendly when I had any interactions with them. No iron or ironing board in the rooms, I was provided with one when asked but it was very dated and barely worked, the ironing board was rusty etc. Good walkable location, rooms are very small - was good for one person but no room to really move around etc. Good base to explore from.

The staff were very helpful (Lena on reception went above and beyond - her attention to detail was exceptional!). We arrived early and they made a room available for us.
Breakfast was very good - typical French which was good since we were in France!
Room very comfortable especially the bed! Balcony was a lovely place to relax in the sun!!
Will be staying again when we next visit Épernay.

God location , nice and friendly staff.

Nice location close to Epernay city center and avenue de champagne. 5 min walk to public car park garage was ok (centre ville souterrain), 16 Euro cost for two full days. Small but good breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and professional. It was quiet and central to shopping and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and had great air conditioning.

Very welcoming and comfortable with great staff

Nice hotel with clean room. Location good in the city center. Simple, but good breakfast.

Hotel is well situated to access Avenue de Champagne. Hotel itself is a little tired, dark walls and carpets a bit shabby. Breakfast and bar area adequate but overall would benefit from a refurb

Friendly helpful staff. Excellent position, close to city centre. We managed to get parking in the street outside the hotel.

Rooms are ok with big comfy bed however hotel just looks a little tired especially carpets on stairs.

The only problem was the car parking which was in the Central Car Park which was underground. It cost a staggering €68 for 30 hours parking!!!
The Hotel was fine!!

We had a wonderful stay - booked a Junior Suite and appreciated the larger room size with a sitting area for socializing with our friends that had booked a standard room. Staff were so helpful, great at answering questions about the area, and directions to the nearby paid parking. Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning (cost was an additional 14 euros per person).

A very comfortable room and hotel. Very easy walk to Avenue of Champagne and other sights. Friendly staff and easy checkin. Note that “Laundry Facility” means “Laundry Service” for a fee and not on-site coin op machines for guests. A very nice laundromat is close by. Even with that note, we’d stay here on another visit.

Jules and the chambermaid were wonderful. Very helpful.

Nice hotel, small rooms and elevator..
Close to champagne houses and restaurants

Carpet in hall was old and worn out. Rooms very small and dark.. they charged me 140 Euros for 2 buffet breakfasts which was higher than a top class hotel… only saving grace was the very helpful young man who booked us in and helped us get the correct ticket to park the car on the road outside the hotel.

Nice hotel with very nice and helpful staff. The standard room is quite small. Very good breakfast. Could enhance the experience with hooks for all the towels in the bathroom and even there have a magnifying mirror and a better hairdryer.

Very close to the avenue de champagne. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful.

Nice place good location

The hotel is ideally located but the rooms at the front are on a road so can be a little noisy, the rooms where fine and basic, clean, bed linen was clean, hate when hotels out on extra cushions and bed covers as they look grubby and not very hygienic, just make a bed and leave it in my opinion.
Bathroom really needs a update, was adequate but old and I thought was too basic and a little grubby but was clean.
If you want basic and centre this is was fine.

The propert was very pleasant but the best part was Jules at the front desk! He was kind, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable! Thank you Jules!

Well located hotel in Epernay. Rooms comfortable, although a little small. Some areas are in need of refurbishment - the shower attachment in our room was broken - but there seems to be work in progress. There is plenty of on street parking just outside which is free on Sundays. Reasonable value for money.

Pros: Rooms and lobby were very clean and updated. Walkable to Avenue de Champagne. Nice bar in the lobby. Small continental breakfast was delicious. Nice stay.
Cons: concierge was not very friendly. Difficult to find parking. ParkingOn street only.

The condition of the property was bad.
Stains on the lampshades, no water pressure and broken carpet. Overall, very bad condition.

Property is on the edge of the old town and about 5 minutes walk to the Avenue de Champagne. The room was spacious but the decor a bit tired with the bathroom needing some attention. The location was the primary benefit of staying here. Non-secure, spotty WiFi was an issue.

Really nice boutique hotel

This hotel was affordable and clean. The one strange thing as an American traveling in France was working the lights in the room. Once that was straightened out (you need your room key to insert into the light slot), the stay was lovely.
They have an amazing continental breakfast (for a small fee- totally worth it!) and room service available.
Bed was comfy.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful we managed to park outside the front door of the hotel and paid for street parking the room was comfortable but really really small
The biggest disappointment was breakfast which was poor

I would not stay at this hotel again. It was basic. The woman who checked is in rude and no customer relation skills. Answering phones whilst checking in and no apologies from her. Breakfast basic, although eat as much as you wish

This hotel is not 4 star, it's barely 2 star, possibly 4 stars in 1985, but not this century. Rooms really dirty, everything is stained. Terrible experience with no power in the room, there is a master power button we weren't shown so no electricity or aircon. Terrible! We were moved to another room but again aircon didn't work and it was so hot. The garden view they talk of is a view of a carpack and the very small garden near reception. When I escalated my concerns to Anita, I was spoken to in an appalling manner. Anita - learn to do your job better. This hotel is not in a nice part of Lyon, near the business district and university. That's it!

Hotel is very good value for money and the location is centric.
The beds were a little top hard for our taste, which may be good for others though. This is just a subjective perception.
As a downside I would mention that the opening and closing of doors is very loud and the rooms are not muted; therefore you will be constantly awakened by shutting doors-especially early mornings.
All in all a goid option for a short stay if you just need a room to sleep and shower on a weekend trip.
