Indoor pool was very run down. The pictures they show are definitely ones from when it was in better condition water was very cold and cloudy and there were clothes and trash all around the pool. we booked it to let our kids play and have fun but definitely didn’t enjoy it as much as we had hoped

Wasn't even there for 5 minutes and cockroaches were crawling on the sink and out of the coffee machine people were outside walking around the hotel smoking marijuana around little kids.

As I am writing this, it is 3:40am, as I will not be getting any more sleep in this room. Upon Arrival The property looked nice, the linens and room was ok, definitely could use a deeper cleaning, but was not below what I was expecting for what I paid. But that image changed at night. As my parents lie in the other bed asleep, I get up to use the bathroom. As I reach to turn on the light, I feel something move across my hand. As the light flicks on, I see a roach that ran across my hand. I proceed to quickly grab some TP and smush it. Praying it is a one off, I do my business and plan on going back to bed. . . Until I step out and see two more. . And then another, and one by my headboard. I am not a ninja, and only manage to smush a few more. As I obviously will not be getting any more sleep, I could use the wifi and just kill time on my phone. . . Except the wifi doesn't work. In the positive end, the cable TV has good options, the pool looked nice, and the front staff on check in was nice. I am a man who asks for little in a hotel. A clean and safe place to lay my head down in the evening is all I ask. And heck, I don't mind stains on linens as long as they are clean. But pests are where I draw the line. I'm not sure if I'll get a refund, but I am definitely suggesting you do not stay here until the roaches are dealt with.

Pretty old property with a strange layout. We had a 4th floor suite which required you either take the elevator to the 3rd floor, then up steps to a landing, then more steps to the fourth, or take the elevator to the 4th floor, than down a 1/2 flight of steps to the landing, then up steps from the landing. The rooms were large and appeared clean. However the furniture and mattresses were old and the thermostat was nearly unusable. Furthermore, the thermostat is located behind a TV so the temperature the thermostat sensed was several degrees warmer than the actual room temp. Trying to change the temperature was a challenge as the up/down buttons worked sporadically. Don’t think I’ll be visiting this hotel in the future.

The hotel is a bit run down and doesn’t match the photos online. It’s overpriced for its quality. The inside needs updated and the outside could use some work too. We won’t be staying here anymore.

Not so good hotel room, i loved this hotel in the past but it needs serious help. The paint is missing in places in the room, many bugs were present in the room and the room fixtures such as hinges and other fixtures are rusted. Please fix up the rooms for future stays.

Riverchase lodge is a great affordable place to stay with your family while in pigeon forge. It was clean and comfortable and the service was great. The indoor pool had a slide and was a lot of fun for my kids. We enjoyed it being in the heart of all the attraction pigeon forge has to offer. I recommend this place for all family to stay while in pigeon forge.

Wasn't totally satisfied no access to indoor pool or hot tub due to someone putting baby oil on water slide .and tht was the reason for booking hotel,neighbors in the nxt room was very loud .just Wasn't a pleasant stay house keeping only cleaned once.do not recommend

The pictures in the listing are very very deceptive. The rooms are in awful condition. The listing stated 2 queen beds. It was 2 full size beds. The indoor pool was so filthy, the health inspector shut it down while we were there! The entire property needs cleaned and properly repaired and updated for the price they charge. I absolutely would not return or recommend.

Room was dirty, stained sheets and carpet, hair everywhere. Spiderwebs everywhere. Just a gross facility. Everyone smoked everywhere even in the non smoking rooms. Pool was broken and we were not informed. My kids were so disappointed they couldn’t swim.

Pool was closed upon arrival with no offer of discounted price. In fact, when I asked I was told that I could go somewhere else… verbatim “ you can check out by 11:00 tomorrow with no charge and go somewhere with a pool” Will not stay here again!

Well, the jet tub didn’t work. The beds weren’t that comfortable. We woke up in the morning with sore backs. Parts of the room you could tell hadn’t been cleaned awhile with all the dust. We were a family of four. We didn’t have a table to eat our food in our room. Kids couldn’t play their games on the TV. The worst part would be the pools. They were dirty. The bottom was murky, slimy even. Leaves were everywhere. We had to figure out what else to do because our youngest loved to swim. The staff were friendly. Won’t book another room with them.

We booked 2 rooms next to each other for two nights, on the bottom floor. There were roaches spotted in both rooms over the course of our stay; seen on the roof, the bathroom sink and in the microwave. We did a thorough search of the beds in both rooms and didn’t find any bed bugs, which is a plus. Also, the staff members we interacted with were very nice. The beds were also comfortable. It’s worth noting that one of our family members booked their own room separate from our 2 rooms, and they never saw any bugs whatsoever in their room. This hotel is affordable and may be worth staying at if you’re feeling lucky and don’t mind a few bugs.

Upon checkin, our room door was open. Creepy. I had the kids wait outside while I made sure nobody was in there. The room smelled. The beds were messed up. 4 roaches crawling on the wall and more on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Changed rooms and the same thing. Disgusting

Loved the location and the staff but the hotel could use some upgrades. When I say on the bed I could feel the springs, the bathroom had cracks on the floor and the shower water went from freezing to scolding hot. The pools were nice but the grounds around them had cracks also and looked dirty. Again, the staff was friendly and it was on the strip close to everything so I appreciated that.

The room is right near a busy road so bring your ear plugs. The pools were nice. Kids loved the pools. Honestly, the place needs some serious upgrades. Probably won't be back.

Our stay here for several days was great. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were simple and clean. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the pool area inside and outside. The stairs leading up both slides were very moldy, as was the inside area of the indoor pool.
