Our room was large enough to fit our bags and storage space for our clothes. Air conditioning in the room was well received. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a surprising number of English language channels.
The shared bathroom was large and clean.
The building was a little difficult to find initially as there's no large sign outside, but with the aid of Google Maps, we found it in a few minutes.
The location is a 10-min (uphill) walk to the best miradour in the city and walking distance to the Alfama district. It's also a five-min walk to one of the start points for the 28E tram and the centre of Lisbon is a short walk futher.
You can order a breakfast box to your room, but there's also a nice cafe for breakfast just down the street. Further down the road is the Moorish quarter, which may be intimidating for some, but it's not unsafe.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can store bags in a secure room and there's easy access to the airport by the Metro.

It was unique and great location. Very clean. Nice to have the two extra washrooms down the hallway as options to use.

Overall it was good. Just noisy and felt a bit unsafe. The building front door though should’ve been closed was propped open at night. We could hear people outside of the building at 3am.

Aircon only had on or off, couldnt regulate
4.0
Great place to stay, though noise from hallway can be very loud when people go to the shared bathrooms and constantly slam the doors. Staff is super nice.

Property very well kept.
Clean place and the staff is very nice. Old building with a common entrance that could be cleaner. Air Conditioning was great :)
5.0
Great location but would not recommend it for a solo traveller due to the location

It was a simple basic room. Pillows were so old and bed was at the end of its life.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the washroom facilities were kept incredibly clean. However, the balcony doors do not close properly/fully and the noise from outside is hard to deal with (bring ear plugs). The noise from outside generally goes on until 2 AM so we found it hard to get a good nights sleep. The area around the place is pretty sketchy but can't really fault the place for it, it is within 100m walk to the Metro station as well.

It’s budget-friendly and close to the subway. Located in downtown Lisbon, near Alfama and other popular tourist areas, the hostel had all the necessary amenities. The room I stayed in was clean and had a private bathroom, which is quite rare for budget accommodations in downtown Lisbon. Overall, I was very happy with my booking.

from Friday night there was party down stairs in the music shop. The floor was vibratating and stopped at 23:30. The other 6 days was nice and sillent.

The area is not so safe , noisy
We were 2 but there was only 1 person on the voucher so I ended up paying extra. Expedia put down as 1 person but I booked the rest of the hotels with them and it's always 2 persons .

I recently stayed in the deluxe double room. Considering I did not plan the spend much time at the hotel I thought this room was perfect and had all the necessities. The room was very clean and comfortable. As mentioned in the description not all the rooms have in unit bathrooms so we paid a bit extra for the deluxe. The property is a bit further from the more touristy areas but I found the area to be nice, quiet and completely walkable. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful. And the rooms are comfortable and really clean.
The street was very noisy at night, as well as some early morning shouting voices... but rather than that, very happy with the place.

My first time in a hostel and i was very impressed. The staff was friendly and the place was so clean. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom and also a microwave and disposable plates and cutlery so i could heat up my leftovers .
The location was very convenient as it was 1 street over from tram 28 stop and it was in walking distance of the train station and alot of the tourist sites . When i come back to Lisbon i will definitely stay there agaian .

The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms were kept tidy and in good condition. The balcony doors open which are needed to cool the room down.
The location is near the city center however the local area is very noisy and quite dirty compared with other areas my friends were staying in.

The Elétrico is adorable and well kept. The rooms and restrooms are very secure. Down the street, the sidewalk was covered in trash. The Elétrico was delightful and the staff was communicative and helpful.

Perfect place to visite the city

Amazing place. Well connected to the city. A bit noisy on Saturday night due to a bar downstairs but I always carry earplugs so wasn't a problem.

Very noisy hotel. There is a bar, people have drinks at the street. You basically can't sleep.

My main memory was how the place smelled lovely! My room was very compact but had everything I needed. Easy to check in and out.

Good location, unfortunately not every rooms have private bathroom which is a bit of discomfort

This property was marked by a piece of paper above the doors. The doors were heavy metal. Inside was terrifying. I left immediately and waited outside and had my husband bring my luggage out. We ended up paying twice the amount to stay at a safe hotel near the airport. It was worth it because this place seemed sketchy and not legitimate. I'm not sure if the reviews of this place are fake but it was not accurate at all. There is a reason there is no picture of the front of the building online. It was also located in a very unsafe area of town. DO NOT stay here!

Great place to stay in a semi busy area full of different cultures. Bed was comfortable, the bathroom was always clean. It does get a little loud in the area, would recommend wearing ear plugs if noise bothers you. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location if you don't mind walking, takes about 15-20 minutes to reach centre. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in room 101 which was just a small room without bathroom and had a double bed which was smaller than we are used to and wirh a hard mattress but it was a bit cheaper than the others. Only three rooms on our level but there were 2 spotlessly clean bathrooms to use even though the other 2 rooms had their own bathrooms. Loads of supermarkets, restaurants, street food near by. It is a guest house and not a hotel so is basic which was fine for us for 5 nigts. Downside is the noise from the street below and constant sirens at all hours so if this would bother you, take some earplugs! Quite a few homeless people who didn't bother anyone - usual city situation. We are in our early 60s and never felt worried or threatened by anyone and the presence of the police makes you feel safe. We would return again as it is cheap, clean and cheerful being the start of our 3 centre holiday over Xmas.

The hotel was very clean and always smelling good. The receptionists were very helpful. I had a great staying.

Location is just about 3 minutes walk to Metro Station. Staff offered to help us take the luggage from G/F to our 2/F room. We're allowed to check in early to our room when it's ready. Our room is facing the street, underneath is a bar. On Friday nite, we're quite bothered by people's talking noises outside the bar until passed midnite. It was quiet on Saturday nite as the bar was not opened.

Booked a reservation and emailed that I’d arrive after reception closes at 10pm. I was assured TWICE that someone would be at reception (for an extra fee). I arrived at midnight and guess what? Nobody is there and nobody answers the phone. I had to walk around the sketchy area in the middle of the night looking for another hotel

Staff were very helpful. Alessandro is the best, he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Bruno was also very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 days and were very happy with our stay. Bruno and the rest of the staff (did not catch their names) were so helpful and nice they really made our stay comfortable. Would stay here again. The hotel was quiet and very conveniently located.

Staff is very friendly and the hotel kept really clean, would definitely recommend

I loved this hotel. Clean, right by a metro station, incredible staff, incredible price.

It's convenient to public transportation. Right outside is a bar so can be noisy. This part of town seems to have gone touristy so old apartments are converted to hostels.
Check-in was difficult since there is no indication that the reception office is on the second floor.

We enjoyed our 3-nights stay. The room was clean and nice. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The hairdryer was exceptional!

Wonderful stay - clean, central, quiet street, great staff.

I don't mind that they didn't have breakfast but if you promise breakfast you should serve it. It says on the website they have breakfast it said in my confirmation they serve breakfast it said on the placard in the room that they serve breakfast. It's been over two and a half years since covid began, if that's their excuse it doesn't take long to change the website. The room was so tiny it was hard to find a place to put things. Since the hostel was pretty much empty it's odd that they wouldn't put people into the slightly larger rooms that were vacant. The TV did not work even though I asked the staff about it each day I was there. The hostel seemed fairly vacant but a lot of noise came at night from the air shaft of the apartment building where the hostel is located. It was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. The maid kept the bathroom clean and not many people used it. She seemed quite friendly. The staff seemed friendly enough but I don't really recommend the hostel - in fact I was supposed to return to it when I came back to Lisbon but canceled my reservation.

Really nice guesthouse, don’t let the common stairs in the block give you misguided impressions! Simple rooms but very clean, comfortable, well equipped and a really good bathroom.
