It was really good

The room is spacious and clean but aged.

We loved the architecture, the gardens and the pool. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The wifi did not work in our room and was super weak elsewhere in the hotel. I believe staff said they were fixing it. The pool was supposedly closed after 8pm but a large group of people proceeded to have a pool party from 10:30PM to 2AM. Despite that we enjoyed the hotel immensely.

Beautiful hotel, great pool, breakfast buffet and the peacocks were a nice surprise for the kids.

Great place to rest

Overall the looks of the place are nice on the outside, but the beds and all of the furniture as well as some things in the room are too old and outdated.
Beds are super hard, hurt my back. Bathroom is so outdated it does not have a vent, sink and tub are yellow from how old they are.
Furniture are old and hard as well- and the AC in some rooms don’t work.
Good food in both hotel and restaurant next to it. Have no complaints about that.

Amazing place to stay. I stayed with my son for his Panam Badminton tournament for a week. Service is great especially staff are excellent and respectful. Very helpful, especially with people who cannot speak spanish :-). The only issue is with showers. Wish they can fix that. But was a great experience and will recommend others to stay at this place. And don't forget about breakfast. Nice food!!!!

This place has lots of green areas and quiet. The perfect place to relax. Big swimming pool with all the amenities needed. Breakfast is amazing.

Great stay, nice pool, good service for Mexican standards. They need to relax with needing an ID for the pool towels though. Will be staying here again just for the pool (best pool in Aguascalientes).

Super mexico spanish design. Food is awesome and service 5 star. Best places to stay for the Feria de San Marcos. Ps pool and roaming peacocks are a bonus

This was an awesome place to stay! So beautiful and the breakfast was outstanding! Only problem was our keycard wasn’t working several times and we had to go get a new one every time but that wasn’t a big deal. Loved the stay!!!!

The hotel rooms were big & very spacious. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, our room was close to the lobby &it was extremely noisy. Plus, our room was missing many things,, the remote control to the tv, the coffee maker, towels.. etc. The lobby provided them after a good while though. Overall, it was an ok experience.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is way over priced. The rooms are outdated, the air condition was old and blew out hot air, we had to speak to the manager in order for us to switch our room. The front desk clerk was very dry, did not seem to want to be bothered with our questions or requests. He was the first person that we saw since he checked us in and right away with his service we knew we had made a terrible choice staying here. They offer a breakfast buffet, food was good, the menu never changed, everyday was pretty much the same food options. The bartender at the pool demanded a larger tip from our family and friends who stayed with us. Other staff were friendly, a little dry and quiet but still friendly nonetheless. I do not think we will ever stay here again.

Bad customer service, no room available when I arrived, they overcharged my card, gave me a provisional room full of bees

One of the best hotels ive ever stayed..simply...excellent...

The hotel was built in 1897. Beautiful old building, and gorgeous grounds and pool. This is not a hotel for someone wanting a refrigerator, microwave, and the latest, newest, gadgets and features.

The hotel property is absolutely beautiful and the buffet was excellent. The only real complaint was card keys. We had to have a card replaced 4 times because the key either never worked at all or only worked for a day. It got annoying because my room was far from the front desk. Sometimes hotel keys get zapped by phones but something else was going on in this case. Be aware some rooms overlook the dining area and loud wedding receptions go to midnight so request the other side if you want to go to bed earlier. This was fine for me. I did have an issue with screaming kids running up and down the halls after midnight and the front desk took care of it quickly after reporting, so that was great. Most of the staff only speaks Spanish so be aware you will need to speak Spanish or be with someone who does.

This is a colonial style hotel with a great location. Room was clean and it met our expectations. While not included, we eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was outstanding.

The place its self on the pictures looks nice but when you go in person, it's a different story.
1.- customer service is NOT GOOD
2.- Rooms have a bad odor and very dirty.
3.- In general, I will say that do not recommend for people to use this hotel at all. For many years that I have been using hotels in aguascaliente this by far is the worst.
