Nice, clean and friendly!

Very friendly staff and very clean. Our only complaint was no TV and our lights were flickering in the bathroom.
They were also having their trees trimmed and the men were there before 8 am trying to start their truck with no luck that was a little loud.

Unfortunately The heat in my upstairs room did not work. They had to give me a space heater to keep it warm as it was cold outside they indicated that the system only sets from the lower rooms and couldn’t be adjusted.

Beautiful place, very family friendly, nice laundry area. Only thing I would have preferred is more space for luggage and toiletries. There was really no where to put our suitcases except on the beds and the counter in the bathroom was too small to leave the toiletry bag. I would certainly stay there again.

Loved the easy contactless check in and the good morning coffees.

We left after 1 nite. The bed was too uncomfortable to get any sleep. It was paid for so we just bit the bullet. Also no TV.

Cute place for our group of women motorcyclists. Great outdoor gathering spaces.

Eastside Guesthouse was charming and cozy. I would stay again if the bed was comfortable. I’m too old to sleep on an inexpensive memory foam mattress. The communal areas were inviting and clean. Fun place to stay while in Bishop.

Just a pretty place and peaceful amongst the trees. And coffee was sooooo good in the dining area room in the morning. Apparently from a local roaster. Normally hotel/motel coffee is bad. This was excellent

What an adorable and welcoming property. Feels like a country home mixed with an ashram. I will return if ever passing through again.

Eastside Guesthouse is a cross between a B&B and a Hostel. I highly recommend it if you are more a self-service type of person. As long is you do not need a lot of fancy hotel amenities, a lot of space, a lot services or a TV, this place is excellent! It's cheaper than most regular hotels, and much nicer than similar placed places you could stay.
The rooms are in cozy cottages that are simple, clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. There is a community room with nice couches, a cozy fireplace, and a self-service kitchen where you can cook and store food. The grounds are nice and if you have a larger group, this is a great to place to hang out, cook for a large party, and co-mingle.
While there might not be a person right at the desk, you can always text or call and the assigned staff member answers you right away. They send you a personalized text to give you check-in instructions and a site map to get oriented.

Very clean. Park-like grounds with huge elm trees and hammocks.Staff was friendly, helpful, courteous. The location on the main street was very easy and convenient. All this and Schats Bakkery next door, what more could i want?

Only stayed for one night but really enjoyed the stay. The kids loved the bunk beds and the rocking chairs outside gave a nice spot to relax after a 4 hour drive. Very clean and well kept apartment with great attention to detail. Will come again.

Loved the quirky vibe. And everything was spotless and looked like new. My room was on the lower floor of what looks like an 1800 period house. But it is actually either new or was gutted and made new again. The room faces the Main Street, but I heard next to no noise thanks to the perfect insulation and double panes windows. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom has period style brass fixtures and easy to operate to get plenty of water at your preferred temperature. I loved it and will book here again.

This was a very pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a bench for suitcases, a desk, and an easy chair. The bathroom was clean and roomy. The property was excellent. It was so nice to enjoy our morning coffee outside on the shady lawn. We were able to walk to Mountain Rambler Brewery for dinner. The Schatz Bakkery was only a two minute walk. We often stay in Bishop on our way to northern California and have stayed at several different hotels in the area. This was by far the best. We will be back.

What a great stay we had at this wonderful property! The accommodations were very nice and the setting couldn’t have been better. We loved relaxing on the porch on rocking chairs. Literally spent hours there! The proximity to everything we love about Bishop was perfect. The common area was delightful. It was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you!

Good value for a clean but small standard room. Nice common area and lots of outdoor seating. Next to Schats and El Pollo local and a Rivian fast charger.

Great location! Quirky fun bunks only room. Only negative was sprinkler hit door for an hour and it kept us awake for that time.

Cute place but for the $$$ I’d have expected more. We rented 2 rooms. King bed room for me and hubby And bunk bed room for kids. Kids room the AC didn’t work well and had A very strange odor. Our room was fine but nothing special. Common areas were like upscale youth hostel. No stove or oven but they have camping stoves but you have to go to the desk and get some fuel and matches. Had some hammocks and cute outside common areas. All in all cute but overpriced. For the 2 rooms ( and bunk bed room was small and bare bones as regards to furniture or amenities ) we spent as much as we do on a luxury hotel room with a full kitchen for ourselves.

During our stay at Eastside Guesthouse, we were asked to be quiet just after 9 PM, even though quiet hours don't begin until 10 PM. This was apparently due to having kids with us. We were simply playing board games in our room and weren’t being excessively noisy. If laughter is considered a disturbance, I apologize, but we were on holiday. The text we received made us all feel really uncomfortable and unsafe, and the kids were worried we might be kicked out. This unnecessary and unwarranted message ruined the rest of our experience.
Additionally, there was a man smoking and drinking heavily right in front of our room, which was allowed without issue. This forced our kids to stop playing volleyball outside and come inside to play card games. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

This is a beautiful property in the town of Bishop. The grounds are well maintained, plenty of area to relax with friends and family outside. The facility is nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The airstream trailer out front with coffee and treats was a fun option.

We enjoyed our stay here, even though it was only for one night. I'd love to come back and stay longer. We stayed in the micro queen room, and it is small and very simple, but it was clean and cool. The property is really nice with lots of shade trees and places to sit and relax outside. We didn't really use the common area, but we did look inside and it looked very nice. If you like Schat's bakery, this is a great place to stay!

This place surprised and delighted us in so many great ways. They are very friendly and helpful. The common area has so much to offer beyond the typical amenities of a hotel. Our room was very comfortable. After dinner nearby we sat on the porch and enjoyed a lovely evening. Definitely will favorite this place for a future trip.

I stayed in a bunk room and had to pay an additional fee because my step daughter was with us. So I guess you don’t pay for the room but the number of bunks you use. If you use anything from a bunk in the room, like a pillow they charge you an additional fee.

This was one of the easiest reservations ever! The place is quaint, quiet and clean, we did a contactless check-in/out. I would definitely recommend staying here. The only thing that surprised my husband was no TV LOL he had to spend the evening communicating with me😂👍

The room was very nice and clean. Had difficulty with getting the blinds up and done--more complicated than it has to be. Getting up for the bathroom through the night was no fun because of the automatic light in the bathroom--it was blinding! Suggest replacing the sensor with a dimmable, manual switch.
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and being walkable to restaurants and shops was perfect

Faultless! Well maintained accommodation in a peaceful setting. Would happily stay again.

Really cute, unique place to stay, coming from someone who travels extensively for work and mainly stays in chain hotels. This was a refreshing departure to stay in a place that felt more like home.
