We arrived late and the staff were really helpful on the phone of how to get into our room however when we got in it was horrendous The blind was broken so there was nothing up the window. The radiator was hanging off the wall, No tv remote, There were two pillows on the double bed that were so flat we may as well of had a piece of paper under our heads, The glass shower doors were both broken and hanging off so both doors only hanging on by 2 little wheels luckily we survived the night and had a laugh about it all but on a serious note if we would of brought our little one this would of been dangerous

Drunken power drinkers staggering around with one sitting between park cars with a duet in a black bin liner. When we got up to the room it stunk of cigarettes & was grubby so walked left the key as instructed & left. Went straight into Tamworth & got a room at a travel lodge. Avoid like the plague

A friendly initial welcome and then the same for 4 days with the staff and locals all happy to have a chat. This is a good budget place to stay and offers excellent value. Have already arranged to stay again next year.

Checking in was vey easy and the General Manager (Laura) made us most welcome. Our room was ready, clean and comfortable. We stayed Friday and Saturday night ......the bar was quite busy but the large car park had plenty of spaces. Breakfast was available from about 8.30 until 1100 and was most enjoyable. For those who like music there is a live singer to entertain you on Saturday evenings and you can entertain customers with Sunday karaoke. Facilities include free wi-fi and a pool table. A good value hotel which is not far from Tamworth. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

it was like staying in a hostel, drinkers wandering the corridor, paper thin walls, can hear every sound from adjacent rooms. people banging on next door room / window, shouting to the guy asleep. room was tatty, no hangers for clothes, very basic.

Friendly and helpful staff but hotel smells of damp and a bit of sewage. Room was ok but carpets not been hoovered in a long time and wifi did not work in the room so unable to do any work.

Overall stay was very enjoyable with helpful staff. The breakfast was lovely and made with quality ingredients. I will certainly be staying again. The parking was great and the bed was comfortable and bathroom very clean.

A bunch of us stayed for several days for work. Staff were friendly and helpful but that all the good I can say. The rooms all stank and were in poor condition, no toilet roll holders, towel rail, leaking taps, no tea or coffee in the rooms or even a glass to drink water from. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in unfortunately.

It is not a hotel or a B&B but a room above a busy pub, which is not clear when booking. Room was clean but very basic for the cost (My room at Uni Halls were better equipped) with no soap, toilet roll, kettle etc Could not open my window because of all the noise and smoke from people outside coming in my window

Very disappointed I know it was a budget stay but this place was worse than budget before I got to my room I was hit by raw sewage smell that got worse in my room no tea and coffee making in room tv remote broken in half and taped back together and wouldn’t work properly cobwebs everywhere I will not be staying again

Firstly this is not a hotel nor a proper B&B, it is a social pub with rooms. Reception was at the side of the bar by a young woman chewing a burger. Passing through the door leading to the rooms, the smell was strongly fusty, I think from the carpet, but this was nothing compared to the strong pungent smell of something, either damp or chlorine disinfectant I’m not sure, throughout my room and strongly from the bathroom. No coffee or tea provision, only a TV. This for almost £83 and without breakfast. The self-service coffee offered at breakfast was from a jar with old coffee crystals, some in lumps. I couldn’t drink it. Who writes those glowing reviews? I wouldn’t use this place again if they offered it to me free for a month.

Smell in corridor and musty smell in bedroom don’t stay in room 9 fan comes on very early in morning woke us up even with windows closed. Had a drink in bar g and t no ice asked for lemon said fruit on bar was for show. No WiFi been of for a few days but bar staff said keep trying then manager told us had been off for a few days. No food available we should have been informed of this and we wouldn’t of stayed here I had zoom meeting on Saturday afternoon couldn’t go a head because of no WiFi . No tea and coffee in room never stayed any place ever with no refreshments tray in room also no hangers in wardrobe space.

Reception is in the pub, which can be lively and loud, a lot of the crowd gather outside smoking, screaming and shouting, which was just below my room, at one point the was a big row that seemed to get physical, but ended up out of my line of vision, room was small and basic with a bit of mold on the wall... but i have had worse, shower ok, thought barely any toiletries, wifi didnt work first day, but when it did it was fine, parking in the pub car park, which i saw a few unsavory characters milling about in but there security cameras up everywhere ( i think they need them) there are lot of contractors staying there and i did worry about my vehicle (tools etc) on the last night i stayed a load of hells angels turned up.. noisy bikes but then everyone else behaved so it ended up being the most quiet night. No kettle or tea/coffee in room.

they were fantastic with my 4 yr old grandson. the rooms were quite, no steps for my disabled mum, one room had a tiny shower but the other had a huge one so that depends on the room. the only fault really is the tea and coffee facilities are no in your room and unavailable until 8am but this did not in anyway affect our stay.

Very basic accommodation, not worth the price paid. No tea coffee facilities in room. Beds uncomfortable and you can hear every noise in the next room and when people are coming and going. My room had a very strange odour too.

Very clean room, spacious and clean bathroom and shower. Swift check in. Comfortable beds. If you stay on a Saturday night (as we did), be prepared for a live music until 11pm. Room 4 (where we stayed) is just next to the entrance, so you can hear everyone coming and leaving the property (but on the plus side, you can see your car out of your window). Friendly staff, nice vicinity, definitely value for money.

If u stay here and if u get room 3 refuse it its got the service room in it for the electricity and sky for whole building also its got the towels and bedding for every other room so the room service ppl banging on ur door every morning to get in stayed 3 nights n was woke every morning for something
