Closer to the beach

Old building but clean room, king size bed was hard. Door lock jams so it takes many tries to unlock to get out. Gap at top of door so bugs crawl inside. Close to beach so you can hear the ocean.

Property is past its prime.

It was surprisingly great! Very close to the beach. Cold AC. Good staff. We had a good time.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed !! 10.00 more I could have stayed at BW with breakfast! Holes in walls faceted very bad. Wood trim falling off doors. This place should be shut down!!!!! I will call the city health department

Friendly service, staff was more than accommodating to my very late check in and location provided a quick and easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Hotel was very straightforward and exactly what I was looking for in terms of quick and easy convenience. The hotel was also very quiet, even during the day, which I appreciated. Great staff and would stay here again!

Close to beach could have stayed at a nicer place for the price

This place is older, so I expected the building and room to be worn. Beds were very uncomfortable, springy and painful. Other than that, the room was cold and clean, which was great!

We had a horrible time at this hotel. The door wouldn't lock. Also to unlock it was you have to lift and twist just to get the door unlocked there were several gaps in the windows and door. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. Everything is outdated. The only good part about the entire stay was that the air conditioner worked really good, but it was a window unit and also outdated. Customer service at the desk was hot. We waited in a small little hall, where there was no AC to check in and to check out. When I checked out I had to wait five minutes in the heat waiting for someone who was cleaning one of the rooms to finally get her attention and have her come check me out. It was only 100° Outside waiting in the heat the refrigerator was not cool enough to keep my stuff cool, so I just kept it in the ice chest over ice. The little couch in the room had stains and cigarette burns all over it. It was pretty disgusting We wouldn't even sit or clothes on it much less we would not sit on it. we were giving no paperwork on check-in or check in and we're not given Internet codes and it took a lot to get the name of the Internet and then the passwords we had to keep calling because the desk was busy and we were transferred to a customer service number, and which we were given the office number. It was a huge hassle just to get "" free Internet there were many more problems, but not enough room on this page to write it.

Small rooms but close to the pool

This place is nice budget rental stay. No frills but good for the price.

This place was horrible. We were on the 2nd floor, felt as if we were going to fall through with every step we took. The electricity turned off when I turned my hair dryer on. This place needs to be torn down and updated. The dresser was missing a drawer, their was someone else's hair on the sheets when we pulled back the comforter. We bought a sheet and put it on top of everything befor we layed down.

Needs updates, like broken wall pieces and cracked tile

The shower had no pressure at all and wouldn’t turn to just the shower head the Fossett stayed on and had more pressure than the showerhead did , the bathtub wouldn’t drain all the way , even with the ac on the room was still very hot during the day since there not a lot of shade around the building

The only thing good about this place was it's proximity to Whitecap Beach. The motel grounds are filthy, and very unkept. The room had a real small AC unit that could not keep the room cool during the day. The room we were in was right next to a dumpster. We found roaches and even a spider in our room. There was no coffee pot or hair dryer and no other place than the bed to sit. I would not ever recommend this property to anyone else.

as far as affordable options on the island, this place is a steal! The location is the biggest pro on this property and the parking is ample. Very convenient to get to the beach and island amenities. However, you get what you pay for. Our toilet overflowed several times during our stay, the fridge barely worked, and there were roaches on the property. I would still stay here for the price and location, but just know this is a. “no-frills property.

Very outdated. One old lamp for the room. No cups or coffee. But for the price it was good. We literally just slept and showered there. Staff was nice.

It was a nice beach motel. The owner was friendly and helpful.

This place is rough. Half inch gap around the door. No security latch of any sort. 41 degrees outside, but no heat. Manager handed my an electric heater, which I had to share between the bathroom (that has no electrical outlet!!) and the main room. Tile floors were freezing. It worked but only because I had an extension cord with me. Place was virtually empty but they still booked people in the room right next door for some reason (Smokers, too). Lots of holes in the walls … towel racks are falling off the wall … furniture is yuck … one nightstand and one lamp. Nightstand still had a ring on it where someone had set a drink (was NOT cleaned)!! You would not let your children stay here. It is pretty gross.

Decent Room for the price.
