Great Balcony view of the Piste.
Nice selection for breakfast as well as a wonderful Raclet dinner.

What we liked? The chat when we arrived. But that was it, basically. Nothing positive to add after that and after seeing the rooms.
The place is in a general state of shabiness. Old carpet everywhere. Old and worn rooms. Cleanliness a total disaster. The maid had brought her stuff and forgotten it there. I had the impression she left withouth cleaning. The beds were made, but I had the impression the sheets had not been changed. There were crumps and hair everywhere. The bathroom had not been cleaned either. Pubic hair everywhere....uurgh.
The breakfast was another disappointment. The buffet had not been set up. I think we were the only guests. They did not put in any effort. Not even the slightest. No cheese, no meats, no fresh fruit or vegetables. The guy fired up the egg cooker only when we got there, cooking eggs would have taken ages. The cereals looked like leftovers from the winter season. I got a glimpse behind the kitchen curtain: the floor had not been cleaned since the last ice age. The croissants were hot but not totally cooked, probably frozen before. The juice dispenser was empty. The coffee machine worked, but the coffee very weak. Overall very very very disappointing, and no value for the totally exaggerated rate. 300EUR for a night in a rat hole. These people should be ashamed. No dedication.

the location is great
the corridors were filthy and our room
was literally falling apart and full of dust, an absurd price for such a basic out dated room of euro 328!
be aware that the photos you see are of the rooms with terrasses apparently

The location of the hotel is excellent, just 100 meters from the ski lift. Some rooms have been renovated and the rooms on the back have an amazing view of the slopes. The owner is very friendly and responsive (his dog as well).
We had a couple next to us who were smoking like a chimney, inside the room...

Upon arriving at the hotel, the owner did not check our Pass Sanitaires and there were absolutely no obvious measures made to protect myself and my family with relation to Covid. The standard of the rooms and building itself was absolutely shocking. When entering our bedroom the outside door had been left wide open, considering the fact that it was 2 degrees outside, the bedroom was freezing. The Hotel had no central heating turned on. In our bathroom we hadn’t even been given toilet roll, which I would consider to be an essential, and it definitely had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom door did not close all the way and there was no way any privacy for the person inside. In the doorway there was even a nail sticking out that could definitely harm anyone who brushed up against it.
In the morning, we came downstairs to no breakfast laid out despite it being included. Eventually the owner made up plastic trays with unclean glasses and cutlery. He proceeded to give us a basket of a quarter of a baguette each and three croissants between four of us. Again there were absolutely no measures of protection against Covid. The juice machine clearly hadn’t been cleaned and spat out very old lumpy “orange juice”. Once we decided to leave the owner asked us how breakfast was and we naturally said that it was deeply unsatisfactory.
He then proceeded to shout aggressively in our faces in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Upon complaining further about all of the items I have previously mentioned he then proceeded to yell “well that’s not my problem”.
We walked upstairs to pack our belongings, to avoid more confrontation and he stormed after us yelling incredibly rude comments to us when we had simply were being honest. We replaced the room key on the designated area in reception and walked out to our car without saying anything as we didn’t want to have to confront his ggressiveness again. He then proceeded to follow us out of the hotel yelling rudely

Nothing
The hotel heating wasn’t on - 2 degrees outside ! The room was freezing. Breakfast was awful when the owner asked how everything was and I started to talk to him he just yelled at my family, as if it was our fault. The hotel is so tired and way over priced. Please don’t stay. If zero stars was an option that is what we would give.

The location
The hotel was not like showed on pictures, was old, rooms where old, décoration was old, no breakfast given, restaurant of the hotel closed at night... Not worth the price paid

The location of the hotel was excellent, immediately next door to a ski hire shop and a minutes walk to the gondola. VERY close to bars/restaurants. Views from the balconies was very nice.
The hotel is VERY tired Beyond shabby chique ); décor is at least 30 years old, paint flakey, bathrooms unhygienic, taps hanging off, communal area furniture old fashioned. It feels unloved. Mould in the marmalade jar (for which there were genuine apologies). The bathroom water was intermittently scalding hot; dangerously so and reporting it seemed to have no apparent effect.

Very friendly staff, great view from the spacious room terrace, very clean. Not luxurious, but very comfortable, with a bath and good bedding. Just a few steps from the Teleriou lift & sales office, shops, and restaurants.
A shower curtain /wall would have kept the bathroom drier, but we can live without it
