Lovely old Welsh cottage
Good location. An 8 min. walk into town. Just over the road to the cathedral. Lovely walk to the canal basin and boat trip and theatre.
Roadside windows could do with a clean. No parking on site but Parking is available in the cathedral carpark. 5pm-8am £1 so wasn't a problem. One bedroom upstairs and one downstairs but the bathroom/toilet was upstairs so maybe not suitable for anyone who can not manage stairs. Was OK for us though. There are fish and chip shops as well in brecon but not mentioned in the booklet.

Very very pleasant and memorable. If my knees hold out I will certainly want to return!!
it was decorated to a very high standard, and very nicely done and very clean. The garden was immaculate and a lovely sun trap. it was all well thought out. it is located opposite the cathedral which is well worth a visit, as is the cafe for a bite to eat and a drink. lovely atmosphere, good food, nice service. it is also pretty close to the town centre.
The only downside for us was the steeper staircase that is typical in old properties( we both have knee problems.) Likewise the shower was on the small side because of available space. HOWEVER- these are to be expected in a cottage that is c 400 years old and won’t bother most people. Also, there is no parking directly outside but you can stop to unload and load your car. parking is only just a very short distance away. These small details should not deter you from stopping here- it is charming and comfortable.

Superb
It was a lovely cottage spotless Had everything you need and comfortable
The upstairs bed is a lovely deep mattress but the bottom fitted sheet was just a standard double which kept pulling away from mattress and scrunching up. I have a deep mattress at home and a normal DBL fitted sheet is too small so buy my sheets from Dunelm as they have sheets different depth Maybe worth looking into as otherwise a perfect place

Exceptional
The communication between booking and arrival was excellent, Simon contacted us to confirm the booking and again to arrange key collection. The cottage itself was beautiful and extremely well equipped. The log burner was perfect for the snowy weekend, and the Christmas decorations were a lovely added touch. Perfect location for exploring the town :-)

The perfect start to the festive season. Thank you for a wonderful break.
It was in a great location. It was immaculately presented, really cosy and extremely well equipped. I especially loved that it was decorated for Christmas!
Nothing - it was perfect for us.

the cottage suited our needs perfectly
Property is warm & cosy with very comfy beds and bedding - tastefully decorated and very clean.
The only downside is the traffic - bit of a noisy road at certain times but quiet overnight.
