I really liked the design of the room, everything looked very nice. Liked the location. The apartments are located next to the tourist center of Faro. And we also really like the lady who checked us in, she is very nice and friendly.

Nicely run guesthouse. Very friendly host. Clean.
My room was tiny, but this didn't bother me. The location is great.
The noise during the night from a nearby bar. Earplugs were provided. The noise was a hassle.
6.0
Location and private bathroom . Coffee in the room and rooftop patio. Wi-Fi was good.
Every night was loud as this is a bar area. Ear plugs were furnished.

clean, approachable and kind staff. near to bar, restaurants, shops
no shower hot water in the morning. had shower with cold water

Excellent location, clean spaces and welcoming host. I think I was alone in the guesthouse through my entire stay, so it felt even more luxurious! Like my own private apartment! I was a bit worried about the noise, most reviews mentioned, but except of couple loud pedestrians passing the guesthouse at night, there was no noise at all. This though, may have had something to do with the street being closed from it's end at the corner of the house, limiting pass-through walking to bars. And the fact that I was there in November
The stove and oven were disabled, so you couldn't really cook anything, but there are plenty good restaurants to go to near by

Location is great, good to have kitchen facilities and use of roof terrace. Interesting history of house and street.
Felt safe as senior female travelling alone.
Bit of noise sometimes at night but have to expect this so close to nightlife.

A comfortable and charming property. Didn’t have any issues with any of the facilities. There is a whole kitchen for the use of guests as well so that is nice.
Everything was clean from what I could tell.
Best part was the value for money. The property is not tremendously expensive to stay at and you get a nice stay on a street right in the centre of Faro.
There is also a nice roof terrace so you can go up there and sit and look at the sky or read a book from the bookshelf they provide.
Property is around 20 meters from a busy bar which is always playing loud music quite late. But the property provides ear plugs and neither myself or my partner needed to use the earplugs because the building seems decently soundproofed from outside sounds.
The same cannot exactly be said for indoor soundproofing. You can often hear people taking phone calls in the room next to you or talking in the hallway.

Very friendly landlady. Very clean! Cannot dream of better location. Awesome! Thanks!
A bit noisy at night as all the bars and restaurants are around and people love to party far after midnight.

the location and cute old room
the bathroom

it was clean and all necessary equipment was available.
At the accommodation was nobody who was able to speak english. This was quite taff to clarify all needs of us. Additionally no one showed us the guest house, we didn’t know how to go to the terrace and so on…it’s ok for sleeping.

- bed was firm and comfy.
- i accidentally booked this budget single room without knowing shared bathroom. (Because of the misleading pictures showing bath ). Its extremely small (was probably a bathroom or toilet before?).
- shared bath is clean but smells heavy humid from the old ceiling.
- room has a very small window BUT not opening to outside but to a shared balcony of the kitchen. So its NOT safe to open window that anyone can see you and get in from the kitchen!!
- room faces to a corner club which is extremely noisy at night. Earplugs does NOT work.
- it was quiet expensive for a such a room. ( I paid same for a twin room with breakfast in Lagos, so you can compare.)
- don't stay there if you are not going to Party.
- i received my key info for check in in the very last minute. And i should call her and remind just before my flight to Faro. It should be sent at least one day before!!! Vert stressful check in.

The bed was comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and the rooftop terrace was nice to have some fresh air with your coffee. The hostess was always very responsive, and when I left an item behind, she went out of her way to mail it to my next destination! I really appreciated that!
The windowless bathrooms are poorly ventilated, so there was an unpleasant smell at times or they were quite damp after someone had showered. Guesthouse is located near to bars and clubs, so nights can be noisy - earplugs took care of that though.

It is very nice and clean guest house. Everything necessary is present. Location is in the city center and close to popular at night street with bars. 5 minutes walking to bus station, 10 minutes walking to train station, 15 minutes to airport by bus/car.
Only 7 rooms in the guest house but not all now are available because of covid, so it seems you are alone at the whole house.
Very good terrace on the roof partly opened, partly closed so you can stay there at any weather conditions
8.0
Very central and within 6 minutes walk to the train station
Lovely rooftop balcony
The restaurant downstairs made A LOT of noise during night until 02:30
The shower cabinet was so small that I could not bend down to pick up the soap

Nice Terrace area, clean and peaceful place, right in centre
the Budget room was a bit on small side and no AC just a fan
7.0
Easy to check in and check out. Basic room with tea making facilities.
Took a long time before the hot water comes through to the shower. Had to shower in cold water for most of it.
6.0
The bed was ok. Close to the center and the bus and train stations.
It was not super clean. The 'private' bathroom was actually accross the hall; it would have been nice to know it when booking. It is really noisy, you can hear the conversation of people passing by in the street even with closed windows. The tv on top of the wardrobe. The very narrow shower (not sure everyone would fit).
8.0
The hosts are very attentive and responsive to the current covid situation and provide excellent facilities and advice to their guests.
