We had a wonderful stay at "Seascape". Just like other guests, the pictures don't do it justice! Beautiful views, spacious, comfortable rooms and spotlessly clean. Sugar Hill felt extremely safe and the grounds were meticulous. We had the pools to ourselves and the access to the Fairmont beach, only minutes away, made this a perfect beach/villa holiday. We had everything we could possibly need and Paulette took great care of us. We have already recommended this vrbo to our friends and family and would love to return ourselves the next time we head to Barbados.

We have stayed at various properties on Sugar Hill over the years and have found all to be perfect for a family holiday on the West Coast. Seascape is no exception and offers probably the best views we have found so far. The benefit of a 4th bedroom in the cottage allows for a large or extended family to also enjoy the experience.
The property itself is clean and spacious with Paulette the housekeeper on hand to help out if needed although we spent the majority of the time enjoying the beach club facilities @ The Royal Pavillion which is perfect for families and only a short drive away.
Seascape offers excellent value and we would definitely consider returning to on our next visit to Barbados.

We’ve been to Barbados many times but this is by far the most beautiful villa we have stayed in. Fantastic accommodation with so much space (4 big bedrooms, all ensuite), spectacular views and so well equipped. Sugar Hill is wonderful- with a great pool and clubhouse, staff couldn’t be more helpful and the beach club membership is a real plus. We will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing stay!

We found the villa exceedingly comfortable. That, along with the view and the layout made us immediately feel like we were far away from London. We enjoyed the transition from inside to outside, with the covered porch for dining and beyond that pool area. Access to the beach was a great addition and the host and staff were prompt and capable in answering any questions we had.

We would thoroughly recommend Seascape as a property to stay in. The property is very comfortable, the views from it are superb, and it’s a lovely home from home. Thank you.

This was our 2nd stay in Sugar Hill and this has to be one of the best located villas on the complex, and the complex is in a perfect location to enjoy the NW coast of the island. The house was clean and spacious, and the additional cottage worked particularly well for my son and his girlfriend,

Summer 2022
We had an amazing 2 weeks at Seascape check in with Sasha was easy the property is spotless everywhere. A home away from home with everything you could wish for and more. Paulette the housekeeper was brilliant and made our stay even more relaxing.
I would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a villa on the west coast.
The communication with the host was also so easy on Vrbo.
Sad to be leaving but I’m sure we will return.

An absolute diamond house
We had a wonderful stay at Seascape and was very sad to leave but looking to return! The house is perfectly located with a range of facilities. All rooms were large and luxurious and the housekeepers were lovely. The owner Gill is very responsive and super helpful with suggestions on where to go on the island.

Fabulous stay at seascape
Great villa which was well stocked with everything we needed, wonderful views, love sugar hill with the tennis, gym and pools. Safe and secure. Gill, the owner, was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

We loved the house! The “fast track” through the airport was FANTASTIC!!! Well worth the money!
The construction that was doing on on both sides of us early in the morning during the week wasn’t great on vacation. We certainly understand that during Covid it would be difficult to travel. We had to wait an extra long time almost 24 hours for Mike’s test rapid test to come back and when we emailed Kristina, she said that she would pass Sasha passed things off on Paulette (who is FANTASTIC! So helpful and sweet!) who is new but was so easy to work with. I asked Sasha to please come over after I was cleared and Mike “quarantined upstairs” so she could show me the house, We didn’t have keys to the laundry or know where it was, the guest house, etc…Knowing that in the information about the house would have been helpful! The VRBO listing says there is a bidet in the master, there is not, but it is a lovely property!

paradise
Lovely complex, the villa was in probably one of the best spots.
The owner and support staff were so helpful, Thank you Gill.
Kristina couldn't do enough for us and Stacie the housekeeper was a treasure.
Would recommend to anyone just to wake unto the view from the the master bedroom.
Would definitely consider staying again if we return to Barbados.

Great for recharging the batteries!
We travelled to Sugar Hill as a party of 5 with children aged 7, 9, 12 and there was something for all of us. From our 7am games of tennis, to the gym, and the pool there was plenty of opportunity to stay active, although we tended to make even more use of the beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants nearby. I would suggest hiring a car for the duration so you can explore this wonderful Island, All in all a great holiday, we'll be back!

Perfect getaway!
Great house, perfect location, beautiful views. Stacie was great - very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant on site, delicious taco Tuesday. Well equipped kitchen - we particularly liked the blender for making pina coladas! Lovely pool for cooling off in the evening. Easy communication with owners!

Beautiful villa with great facilities
This villa was a pleasure to stay in. The house is very tastefully decorated and has loads of space. The kitchen was fully equipped which was handy for spending a few evenings in. The outdoor seating area was a personal highlight as you can see all the way to the ocean and the sun sets infront of you every evening. The house is also very clean with the housekeeper, Stacey, coming around to keep it immaculate every few days. The location was also good with some lovely local beaches - we even spotted a few turtles down at Gibbs Beach! Would thoroughly recommend!

Great time in an excellent home.
This was our second time staying at Seascape. It remains one of our favorite vacation rentals. The home is beautiful. The Sugar Hill resort is wonderfully maintained, safe, and friendly. Seascape comes with beach passes to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion. The beach is minutes away, and the passes give access to chairs, umbrellas, and an very nice place for lunch. The beach is excellent. The club house restaurant, Carizma, is very good, and there are also a lot of fine options in Holetown which is only 5 minutes away.
Overall, Barbados is a great island, and Seascape is a fantastic house. Highly recommend

Another fantastic week away at Seascape.
This is the second time we have stayed at Seascape. Yet again we had a fantastic time. The house is lovely and really does feel
like a home when you stay there. Great facilities and the restaurant at Sugar Hill is well worth a try - especially on Taco Tuesday! We discovered new beaches this time and loved exploring the Island. Seascape is a terrific base to enjoy this incredible island. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful Christmas at Seascape
We just came back from 2 weeks stay in this beautiful house where we had a fantastic holiday. From the first enquiry to the prompt deposit return our dealing with the owners was exemplary. They were quick to communicate and extremely helpful at any stage prior to the holiday and during our stay. We have visited Holetown a few times before and stayed in some lovely homes but there was always something missing, either bedrooms were too small, fans not working properly or wifi too slow but this time everything was perfectly functioning and the house was very spacious, beds extremely comfortable, wifi perfect speed and Stacie who came every other day was too kind and helpful. At one point we had a problem with the wifi in the cottage and it was quickly sorted, the same with a small plumbing issue, it was fixed the same day! Gill and Graham have some fantastic help on the ground, Christina who is their concierge organised our airport transfers and car hire to be delivered and picked up from the house, she would have been happy to book the restaurants too but we had all the numbers from our previous visits so we did it ourselves. Sasha who is their house manager was super efficient in communication and helping us with wifi while Stacie is a real gem and pleasure to have around, she left everything spotless and all our clothes washed and ironed, what a treat! I would highly recommend the house, it was only a short walk from the club house and the restaurant and Sugar Hill is only a few minutes away from the beaches and Holetown. Combination of comfort, amazing views and wonderful support team makes it a perfect place for holiday.

Fantastic villa!
Seascape is a great place for a family vacation! The villa is spacious clean and has all the amenities for a great stay. The outdoor living area and pool is a fantastic place to watch the sun set every night. Location is great! Close to Holetown with many restaurants and a large supermarket. Great base to explore the whole island. The beach at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion was great. Would definitely return!

Another fantastic holiday
This was our second visit to Seascape. The villa met all our needs and more for 4 adults and 3 children for the two weeks. It is spacious and modern with a wonderful view of the sea from the large terrace. Stacie, who is the housekeeper, keeps the villa spotless and ensures you have a relaxing stay. The Sugar Hill setting is beautiful wth great facilities and friendly staff. The on site restaurant Carizma is a favourite.
The villa is located only minutes drive from Holetown where there are many restaurants plus an updated Massy supermarket where you can buy all you need for self catering.
The weather was hot and sunny which meant many days relaxing at the beach and taking advantage of the water sports available. Access to the beautiful beach at Fairmont and the beach club is a real advantage with the villa. Visiting Barbados in August is a positive with less crowded beaches and restaurants plus beautiful sunny days. Yes we did have a few rain showers but most of those were at night and the sun chased the rain away during the day in minutes!!
Thank you Gill for another wonderful holiday at Seascape

Fabulous Villa - private and yet with all the benefits of being on the Sugar Hill estate.
After a short drive from the airport you arrive at Sugar Hill Resort where we were greeted with a warm welcome and advice to leave our watches off as this is “Barbados” where the stresses of everyday life with time pressures should be left far behind! The housekeeper at Seascape will be waiting for you to ensure that you are familiar with the property and then it’s just a simple case of enjoying the fantastic Villa and everything Barbados has to offer. Whether you head down to the beach to swim with the turtles, sample the fabulous local cuisine at a beach front restaurant or just chill around the plunge pool at the fantastic Seascape Villa you can’t fail to have a very special holiday here. Seascape has everything you need to have a great vacation and the owners have thought of everything to ensure that from the minute you walk through the door the true Barbadian experience is there for you to enjoy. Would we return to Seascape? It’s definately a case of “When and not If !! “

Fantastic holiday in Seascape
We have recently returned from a month stay here - and to be honest, we could have stayed longer. The villa is perfectly situated with a beautiful view from the terrace and is quiet and yet only a few minutes walk from the main facilities of the Sugar Hill resort. The 2 big pool areas are very well maintained and are mostly empty at this time of year. We ate/drank at Carizma on the Hill (which is adjacent to the main pool area), several times and were not disappointed. Lovely staff and great food at reasonable prices - thanks to the team there. With Massy's supermarket just a short drive down in Holetown, (selling Waitrose products!) self-catering is a doddle! We loved the amount of storage space in the villa, the kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are all large and airy with aircon, hairdryers and safe's in each room. From the moment we arrived, we just felt comfortable - huge thanks to the lovely Stacie who is the best housekeeper we have come across in Barbados!. We would absolutely recommend Seascape and look forward to returning as soon as possible.

Perfection!
This was my second stay at Seascape and it was just as perfect! Seascape is a stunning property with beautiful artwork throughout and great views from both floors. Just a minute walk from the property are 4 tennis courts which can be booked for free and two swimming pools which were almost always empty! Stunning West Coast beaches are only a few minutes drive away. I highly recommend Santi beach bar for sundowners and live music and The Fish Pot restaurant for a delicious catch of the day. The Boatyard is a fun day out and very good value - entry includes a boat trip to snorkel with turtles!
I couldn't recommend this property enough - ideal location on the idyllic island of Barbados! Thank you!

Beautiful house in amazing location
This was our 2nd visit to Seascape and it was every bit as good as we remembered. We love the location, as the beaches on the West Coast are beautiful, and Seascape is only a 5 min drive from them. We discovered Alleynes Bay which has no facilities but plenty of shade from trees, and was usually quiet apart from a few locals.
The North of the Island tends to be less touristy and we enjoyed exploring Speightstown and Holetown. Our favourite beach bars were Santi (live music on Wed and Sun eves) and Little Bristol Bar ......... both great for happy hour cocktails at sunset.
The house is exceptionally well equipped, very spacious and kept spotlessly clean by their wonderful housekeeper Stacie. The decor is lovely and the artwork on the walls , much of it painted by Gill, reflects many aspects of Barbados. We never needed to use the air conditioning as there was always a lovely breeze blowing through the house. Sugar Hill Resort has a beautiful infinity pool, which was usually empty, and 4 tennis courts which can be booked, all within a few minutes walk of the house. A car is recommended to see the beautiful island of Barbados and to get to the many excellent restaurants (blackened catch of the day is always a good choice!)
I have no reservation in recommending Seascape!

Beautiful villa well suited for couples/families
This was our second stay at Seascape and we enjoyed it tremendously. The villa is well appointed and very clean, tastefully decorated with artwork reflecting the owners love of the island's beauty and history. My husband and I along with our adult children enjoyed meals on the patio and cocktails enjoying the sunset. The easy use of the main infinity pool and fitness center were a big plus for us. Wonderful stay....hoping to return soon!

Wonderful house on a great island.
We had an excellent week at Seascape in Sugar Hill. The house surpassed our expectations. It is well appointed, has 4 very nice bedrooms, and a nice view. It is in the gated community of Sugar Hill and is very safe. The house comes with use of the club house and admission to a beach at the Royal Pavillion. Both are nice options. We explored Barbados, and all felt that Sugar Hill's location was an excellent home base.
The house also came with Stacie. She came to clean several times and was a big help.
Overall, we had a great time in Seascape. We hope to return soon. We fully recommend the house.

Amazing, modern accommodation close to everything!
This property was perfect for our holiday as we were 4 couple and so it was great to all have a lovely bedroom and bathroom! The place is very modern, clean and well kept - I didn't find a single fault with it. It is situated in a private complex with two stunning swimming pools which were never busy and 4 tennis courts which we booked (for free) every morning. There is also a gym if you're into that sort of thing... We even saw a tribe of monkeys whilst playing tennis one morning!
The owners are very lovely and helpful and have a very good housekeeper Stacie who comes in 2/3 times a week to do some washing and cleaning. There are plenty of things to discover in Barbados but the owners have left great recommendations of things to see and do along with tips that are so helpful like avoiding certain excursions on days that big cruise ships are in.
It was perfect to have access to Alleynes beach with the property. This is only a 2 min drive away and you could walk but it's a pretty steep hill coming back up again! This gets you access to a sun lounger, umbrella and a beautiful white sandy beach with generally flat sea. There are also platforms you can swim out to as well as the chance to see turtles further up the beach! There are also boats and kayaks which you can rent.
I would definitely recommend a day at The Boatyard in Bridgetown and make sure you book onto a snorkelling tour when you get there! The East coast was also amazing and a completely different feel to the calm west coast as it had huge waves. Visit the Roundhouse for lunch when you're over there!
I would 100% recommend this property to anyone and I definitely think that Barbados is somewhere that should be on the top of your list if you're looking for gorgeous beaches, friendly people and lots of rum!

The best holiday!
I recently stayed at this villa and had the most wonderful 10 days!
The villa had stunning views from both the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs. The local beach is only a few minutes drive and offers an idyllic place to spend many happy days.
A highlight was a nearby beach bar called Bristol Bar which we went to both Fridays we were there. Live music, happy hour cocktails and delicious food - what more could you want?

An amazing holiday in Paradise
We have thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Seascape with friends. Seascape is a large three bedroomed house with a separate wing with additional double room to one side called the cottage.
We stayed in the cottage which was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room beautifully decorated. The en-suite shower room was ideal and the kitchenette an added bonus to make a morning cup of tea. The terrace outside was perfect to sit out in the morning and the drying area ideal for swimming towels.
The main house is equally beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of plates and crockery including a large fridge/freezer/water cooler and ice maker in one. The living room is just off the kitchen with large sofas that comfortably seated the eight of us.
The dining table is outside on the covered terrace and was lovely to sit around to enjoy the warm mornings and to take in the beautiful evening sunsets as we looked out to sea. Outside there is also a lovely sunbathing terrace with plunge pool to cool down in. There is also a gas bbq to enjoy if you’re not eating out at one of the amazing eateries nearby.
We didn’t sleep in the main house but there are two lovely large double rooms upstairs with lovely balconies looking out towards the sea. There is another double room downstairs. All the large bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms so it is a lovely place to stay with friends. They all have air conditioning and ceiling fans which is a bonus for the warm nights.
Stacie the housekeeper kept the house beautifully during our stay. She really did look after us.
The house is in a complex with nearby communal pools, gym, clubhouse and tennis courts. The early morning game of tennis followed by a swim to cool off was a great start to the day.
We also enjoyed the nearby beach at Fairmont, Alleyne Bay (5mins drive away) with great surf, sunbeds with umbrellas and nearby café. Holetown is a 10 minute drive and is ideal for any shopping needs. We did hire a car and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Island. A highlight would definitely be the stunning beaches around the Island and the warm sea. There is so much to do in Barbados one week was not really enough.
We had the most amazing week in a beautiful home on a beautiful Island and would not hesitate to recommend Seascape as a place to stay. We are already planning a return trip to Seascape next January, maybe for two weeks this time!

We had the pleasure of a 2 week stay at Seascape as a family of four. This was our first trip to Barbados and we are so glad we chose Sugar Hill and particularly Seascape. Everything about the property was perfect and very well thought out. The views are quite simply breathtaking and we felt very lucky to be able to sit there with a drink watching the sunset followed by the incredible sounds of the Caribbean night.
The owner Gill could not be more helpful and proffessional making us feel like VIPs throughout. Stacie the housekeeper really looked after us and the property was immaculately kept at all times, such a nice person. Kristina the concierge was excellent too and arranged car hire (with delivery/collection to Seascape), pre-arrival grocery shop and airport transfers. A brilliant service that really took the stress and hassle away for us.
The facilities at Sugar Hill are very impressive and we had the pools to ourselves most of the time. Staff are very friendly and the Carizma restaurant is a great place to eat. The new Saturday night BBQ is highly recommended.
We went to several beaches but found Alleynes Bay at the Fairmont to be one of the best. The staff at the beach club were so welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. Woody is the man for water skiing, ringo rides and trips to swim with the turtles. I am into my watersports and Woody knows his stuff. No pressure as there was from some boat owners on other beaches and he would go out of his way to just come and say hello.
Seascape is the perfect base for exploring the island and there is so much to do. One of our very best family holidays and we hope to return again soon.
5.0
I visited Seascape with my husband and 2 kids (ages 4 and 16 months) for a 2 week stay June 2017. We had a wonderful holiday and have the highest praise for the owner (Gil), housekeeper (Stacie) and the Villa/resort amenities.
Seascape is located at an ideal position on the west coast for exploring the island. We hired a car and found everything we needed within an easy drive - restaurants, spas, beaches, shops and supermarkets.
Sugar Hill is easy to locate, just next to Royal Westmoreland Estate. The security and clubhouse staff were friendly and we felt very secure there (Barbados is a fairly safe place to visit anyway, and we felt safe everywhere we went, at any time of day or evening).
The complex was very quiet during our visit, only a few villas occupied. This was ideal for us as we had the communal pools to ourselves and it was very quiet on the terrace and pool area outside. I peak periods I think there would be some noise from neighbours as the villas are very close to one another, but there is still a lovely sense of privacy.
The pools were large and well maintained and the Gym was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant (Carizma) was closed for annual holidays most of the time we were there, but we had one meal there and found it pleasant and the host welcoming.
All amenities are a short walk from the villas, and our toddler managed the walks easily, we also saw a few people using pushchairs.
The villa itself - wow! Were to start? The photos can't do it justice, it is more spacious and with an even more amazing view than I had hoped for. Cool, comfortable rooms, stylish, sturdy furniture and very thick walls. Perfect for a family of any age I'd say.
The view out to the sea for simply breathtaking, and we spent most of our time when we are at the villa on the terrace enjoying it. Gill kindly suggested we pull the green foldable fence across the terrace. It had a small gate in it and effectively created a secure area for the kids to play on the entire terrace without us having to worry about them getting down to the pool. A safe and ideal arrangement for little ones.
Stacie did all our laundry (even on the day we were leaving!) and looked after us so well. Kristina (concierge) arranged groceries for our arrival, and the hire of a cot and highchair. Everything was so easy and well organised.
We loved Barbados, the beaches (including at the Fairmont) are beautiful and clean, and there is so much to do. An ideal holiday!

Seascape- everything we could have hoped for! The layout was ideal for three couples .Plenty of space ,rest area and en -suites.
Fans/AC all worked quietly and efficiently.
Living areas designed for easy relaxing particularly the veranda dining and relaxing space.
We were very impressed with the services both on site and particular to Seascape itself.
The owner provided a maid service for cleaning and washing- invaluable and a superb standard of service.
Overall we would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends .
The in house guide book made sorting out our holiday easy!

Seascape was the ideal place for a holiday exploring the island. Beautifully furnished with lovely sea views and big, airy bedrooms. Sugar Hill facilities such as tennis courts and swimming pools were a big plus - especially being so close to the house! The location is perfect and we were able to do so much within the distance of a short drive - highlights were a meal at nearby seafood restaurant SeaCat, many different and very diverse beaches including very local Royal Pavilion beach and a trip to old sugar plantation estate St Nicoloas Abbey.

A beautiful house and so lovingly looked after by the owners and Stacey the housekeeper. It is aptly named too because the great view made an impact as soon as we walked through the door and is a feature in most of the rooms. The facilities at Sugar Hill are excellent, the tennis, immaculate pools and lovely gardens never seemed too busy. Use of the Royal Pavilion beach is a good bonus and we loved swimming with the turtles from there and walking along for rum punch at Santi's beach bar. The owners are lovely and so helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable. We hope to come again!

We spend a lovely 10 days at this property with family and friends. The home is kept in excellent condition and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation. We especially loved the covered outdoor dining space and spent many evenings out there relaxing with a drink watching the sunset. Would not hesitate to recommend this property. The owners were very professional and responsive to all of our needs. Looking forward to a return trip!
