Great rooms, nice breakfast, on the slope, close to shops and places to eat. Easy to get to other resorts too - great transport in the area

Really good service, breakfast really good

Very helpful reception team - helped sort out a ski rental return for us. Food quality good on half board, especially desserts/cheese. Most important of all - truly ski in/ski out, and a nice sunny terrace bar out the front just as you take your skis off.

It was such an amazing stay- everyone was kind and the food was really good too :)

central location, nice ski in-ski out, very nice staff. good value for the money!
the cons: there is no heating for the ski boots, we had to heat them in the room heaters; the meals are super expensive, you can find better value for the money in the village.

Excellent hotel and great location

There are no lifts to levels below ground. Hard wrk with suitcases and ski boots down 4 flights of stairs.
Room sizes are good but not the cleanest.
Reception staff not so friendly but breakfast staff lovely.

Ski in ski out hotel, slightly old fashion but all staff are really friendly and very helpful. They are doing everything they can to make your holiday as easy as possible. Food is better than expected!

Well located in Belle Plagne to ski in and out. Hotel organised ski hire and organised takin the skis back. Excellent breakfast buffet to set you up for the day. Free Jacuzzi could be booked in 30 mins slots . Very welcome. Rooms tidy and clean. Nice bar. Will be back!

The Hotel was very accommodating, the staff were very friendly and were able to help us with any queries that we had. The bar area on the ground floor was out of place compared to the rest of the hotel which made it look rather odd. The rooms were good and were cleaned everyday by the friendly cleaners (although our bed sheets weren't changed once the whole time we was there). The only massive disappointment to the hotel was the food, we paid for half-board and therefore had breakfast & dinner, however we ended up going out for dinner majority of the nights as the food was not nice and ended up eating chips/plain pasta the times that we did eat in the hotel.

This was a flying visit to Belle Plagne. We arrived after midnight and left after breakfast the next morning. The room was basic but the thing that made the stay very pleasant was that all of the staff, from the night receptionist to the chap frying eggs at breakfast, were universally friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very good with beautiful views over the pistes, and Belle Plagne's ingenious underground car park lends the place a completely car-free feel.

Well situated hotel for ski slopes. Ski in ski out once you find the route back! Rooms getting a bit tired but functional and clean. Breakfast was bedlam on first day due to company arranged function which apparently happen regularly. Other mornings were fine so may be worth checking what bookings they have! Staff very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 5 nights, checked in to the hotel, parking underground was easy and we walked straight to reception. Our room wasnt ready, but we were able to change and ski in the afternoon.the outdoor Jacuzzi was great, although there were some people using it on one night to 3am in the morning. (obviously without permission and very noisy). Our slope facing room was a reasonable size. Great view, Comfortable bed, bathroom fine albeit décor a little tired. Think the hotel is slowly being refurbished. The bar area was very nice.Buffet selection for breakfast and evening meals was good. A different buffet each evening, Seafood was available every day, which is nice if you dont want lots of meat. Waiters cleared plates very quickly, (sometimes a little too quickly). Service for breakfast hot fresh eggs option was a little hit and miss, and on last days the hotel was busy and very large queues for coffee machine. I wouldnt like to stay if the hotel was busy.Head waiter, (Hungarian gent) was great, very friendly and his spoken English, Italian, Spanish and French was excellent.

My daughter and I enjoyed a really good stay at this hotel during our recent skiing holiday. Without exception, the many staff we met were friendly and helpful, the food (buffet breakfast and dinner) was varied and tasty and our room was very comfortable. It's perfect from a skier's perspective - you can ski from the top of the steps out of the hotel ski room and, once you've worked out Belle Plagne's various levels, ski right back there at the end of the day. Two minor quibbles - we paid extra for a superior room with a view of the pistes then were given a room on the ground floor with a view of only a snow bank; and the ski room has lockable racks for skis and poles but no lockers so we had to keep our boots in our room. Belle Plagne is ghastly but we managed to avoid spending too much time there by keeping to the hotel. There's a useful spa supermarket twenty steps from the hotel front door. Incidentally, the hotel changed its name this year and still appears on all the signs in the village as Hotel Mercure.

Good location of hotel. The hotel staff were unable to tell us which run took us back to the hotel so it took a couple of days to figure it out. Would be helpful if they could show the hotel on the map in accordance to the runs. The room itself was fine but the heating system was awful. Old fashioned storage type heaters which made the rooms ridiculously hot or cold, there didnt seem to be a happy medium. Bathroom a bit tired and bi facilities to make drinks in room. Had a balcony which was good.Breakfast was nice.I would stay here again if the price was right.

Hotel position to ski lifts great. Rooms are small and only have single beds. The rooms do not have tea and coffee facility witch we would have preferred. Hotel management is good. The food at hotel is great. For a 3 star hotel it is great.

A group of 14 of us stayed for four nights in March 15. The hotel is well situated with ski in/out access and in close proximity to the shops, bars and restaurants of Belle Plagne. (2000+ meters) The communal areas of the hotel are generally well presented, a combination of the original hotel decor and a modern refurb of the bar and restaruant, which actually kind of works. The staff are pleasent and helpful, the food really tasty with plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner. The standard rooms are small and could do with an upgrade, but for us we were simply using them to sleep and shower and for that they are perfect. Hard to fault this hotel overall, and well worth considering for a well positioned 3 star hotel break with friends or family!

We have stayed at this hotel before and always enjoyed. This was the first time I booked through Expedia. Be careful! I thought I had paid for the room but the Hotel added another charge of £250 for one of my kids....not best pleased!!

In an excellent location, ski and ski out! Main car park underneath the hotel with direct access so great for lugging your ski kit in and out. Bedrooms very small but clean and warm. Bathroom small but great shower and a full size bath, just what you need after a full days ski! Avoid ground floor rear rooms, not much of a view. Buffett restaurant provided lovely food and reasonable service and nice views of la plagne. Bar / lounge area very trendy and with an open log fire. Both bar and restaurant areas appear to have been refurbished and are 'on trend'! Overall, this is a great location in probably the best accomodation in Belle Plagne apart from Hotel Carlina (twice the price) and I would recommend it as long as you don't mind small but comfortable rooms!
