It was amazing. Premium room and services for a fraction of the cost. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff very friendly. Elevator wasn’t working and no parking, but for the location, the price, the decor and everything else, it was still a 10/10 for me

I have stayed here before over past 3 years 3 or 4 times .The maintenance and updates have suffered .First the elevator wasnt working ,and no one to help ,if i didnt expect an elevator,that is ok but had to carry 5 bags up the stairs ,thankfully only 1 flight for me .The silicone around shower floor was old and cracked and water leaked all over floor ,the toilet quit flushing within 30 minutes .The overall condition of the room needed attention .Bed was acceptable although also could use a new mattress soon .Rooftop bar had no food because of elevator (understandable).Service was good for what they have to work with .location is good .Probably wont stay there again .

Netflix account I don’t have one and I wanted to see a moví with my girlfriend, the windows from the hotel I didn’t like it and specifically the jacuzzi didn’t work to good

AC was broken. Tub was broken. Very very noisy well into the night. Couldn't open patio door because if noise which made the broken AC even worse. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Otherwise wouldn't return.

I am even surprised that Expedia keeps this hotel on its list, let alone advertising this hotel as a four-star hotel. This is completely false advertising. The hotel is terrible in both cleanliness and condition. It is dirty, with cobwebs (that were not new) and cockroaches. I booked it in a rush, trusting that it was a four star hotel. If there was any rating less than edible, I would have chosen it. I called Expedia immediately after one night, and they reimbursed me for all expenses once I showed them pictures of

Was a decent hotel with some issues. We checked in on a Saturday, third floor room and the elevator was out of service. Was told it was fixed only for us to then get stuck in the elevator. We checked out Monday and the elevator was still out of order. Not fun lugging your luggage up and down 3 floors. The rooftop pool looked like it had not been cleaned recently. Oily haze and hair floating around made it unappealing. Went only once as it was not great.

This is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. First, despite paying ovee $100/night for 2 travelers, staff only wanted to give me 1 room card and they never gave me a 2nd card because “they were short on cards”. They charged a fee for a dirty towel that could have been cleaned in the washer. And last, the music from upstairs was on until around 3 am and was so loud it felt like it was right outside the room.

Hotel is nice and comfortable. The hot water stopped working the 2nd day. The hotel management said that they’ll issue a refund for that night. However, they went back on their words and didn’t give even a penny back. Terrible service

If you are ok with arriving to no hot water & not being given the room you booked, staying here is for you. If you are ok with noise from the club until 4am, this is for you. They did move me rooms due to lack of hot water& shower had a missing door. pool is nice. Breakfast looked good- didn’t have any. Coffee- mediocre. Rooms-old. Staff- lady & older gentleman , kind.

Located at great location. It is the only pros that i can remember. It is definitely not a good option for families. Maybe ok for couples since there is a club next door playing music till early morning. Hotel itself shows its age. We didn't have a door on the shower for example.. Hot water was always in hesitation to flow or even exist. Very poor lighting.

The staff was very friendly. Except for the bartender at the rooftop bar. We cut the AC down a bit because it got too cold. Within an hour we saw a cockroach. Food was good though portions were kind of small. As we’re the drink pours. Will probably opt for different lodging next trip to Playa

I will not return to this hotel. Besides the fact that the staff was very kind and nice, the room itself was mediocre, there were insects in the toilet and shower, and it felt unclean. There is a rooftop in the hotel and on weekends the music is played until three in the morning non-stop and you can't sleep. Feels like the music is in the room. I do not recommend. And again, the hotel staff was kind and nice, but the hotel itself is not pleasant and clean.

Overall our stay was nice. Close proximity to 5th Ave shopping and vendors. Your stay includes breakfast but not a buffet, more so one juice, one plate of food and that’s it. They give you a boxed lunch if you’re going to spend the day out on excursions, but you can’t have breakfast ABD a boxed lunch to go, it’s one or the other. The hot tub in room takes about 45 mins to fill up and doesn’t get too hot, but other than that it was cool. The TV doesn’t have any English channels so don’t expect to chill out and watch some good ole American TV. Safe place to stay overall, I would stay here again.

DON'T STAY HERE! I HAVE BEEN TO PLAYA AT LEAST 20 TIMES AND THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS FOR THE MONEY. ROOM HAD BROKEN A/C AND IT WAS A FIGHT TO GET A NEW ROOM (8 HOURS AFTER I CHECKED IN!) POOL WAS DIRTY, I DID NOT FEEL SAFE LETTING MY DAUGHTER SWIM IN IT. ROOM HAD OLD BROKEN TILES IN BATHROOM AND I HAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS TO GET BATHROOM TISSUE - NO PHONES TO CALL TO ASK FOR ANYTHING. CHECKED OUT A DAY EARLY.

Our room did not have any water pressure or hot water. When we asked the front desk lady she told us a pipe had broken and she was very rude. She told me i would just have to deal with it and that she can't control the weather. We asked for a refund and to check out or our room and they refused to give us any compensation. We were in the room for less than an hour and didn't touch anything. The management at this hotel is very poor. She even admitted to knowing about the problem before we checked in and she didn't say anything to us.

My wife and I love this beautiful hotel and the front desk staff was extremely helpful with all of our needs. Restaurant staff was wonderful. The rooftop needs a little more variety with music, not just techno all day and night. Other than that just wonderful.

We thought the hotel was overall excellent. It's located in the best part of the tourist area, beautiful clean rooms, and excellent service. If you're looking for nightlife, this is also a great spot. The outside noise did not bother us at all. We would definitely stay here again.... Note for hotel: We did not try the free breakfast, as we found it very limiting, and the pool appeared a little dirty when we were visiting... But it could just be from the extreme heat ;) We will definitely stay here again.

When checking in we sat andwaited as there was someone talking with the receptionist.. we thought it was a guest drinking a beer chevking in .. after a while we saw him go behind thedesk and realized he was a worker.. i was tired from my travels so i was upset .. they switched places and he sat down to check us in . He took my deposit gave me my instructions and when it was time to check out my deposit was gone.. they took about 45 minutes to talk to him and ask him what happened.. they went through their deposits and after going back and forth with him i told her there would be no way i could've stayed without a deposit or known how much their deposit amount was i told her he was probably drunk then she finally gave it to me .. needless to say we missed our flight.. we had no where to stay and had to take a flight the next day.

This is the second time I have stayed with Be Playa. The rooms are adorable, relaxing and clean. I have stayed at some of the most expensive resorts and this Hotel, is far nicer. I enjoy the service and the customer service from the staff. The Roof Top pool and drinks are also great. Walking distance to many activities and just a great place to stay. Will remain a returning customer.

The location is great and the overall aspect of the hotel is also great. Comfy bed, nice design and the pool is really nice. My main issue is with the hot water. Or the absence of it. We’ve been told it’s because probably everybody is showering at the same time. The staff is however very friendly.

We have stayed at several hotels in playa now and this one was our favorite! The bed was more comfortable than any other place we’ve been, and the rooftop was amazing! Great pool, and the bar and bartender were wonderful. Very friendly and great drinks. They even had live music several of the nights we were there which was really fun. Staff was friendly, and we loved the included breakfast, great options. We are already planning to come back!
