Wonderful location, nearly a great house
There was much about this property that we loved. The peaceful location, yet proximity to restaurants, shops and Malaga were ideal. The house is very spacious and the outside space is terrific. There is a lovely pool and a beautiful big terrace with mountain views and glorious sunsets.
However, there are a few issues which are easily remedied and would make this a five star property. The property isn't as clean as it could be, especially the outside space which needs a pressure wash. There are a few minor repairs needed, including the upstairs shower attachment, and one of the downstairs bedroom doors which has no latch. There were four of us, so the crockery etc was plentiful. Not sure about for 10 people?
The kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher are ready for replacement. Guests need to know that the water isn't drinkable as it is stored in tanks, as in many Spanish mountain properties.
Overall we had a brilliant week and this house could be perfect with a little TLC.

A relaxing haven.
We had a superb holiday in this villa with stunning views of the mountains and valley below. Star gazing and relaxation in this peaceful location is a must. Lots of places to eat and drink in the nearby town, with excellent steak. Lovely ambient atmosphere!
Thank you to Jason who was very helpful.

Nice house, stunning view, bad maintenance and lots of complaints
We spend 10 days in the house in the summer 2018. It could be a house worth a visit and worth the price if it wasn’t for the lack of maintenance and a lot of complaints.
Our experience with the house and the owner:
1. Dishwasher did not work
2. Not enough crockery / cutlery to cover the table to all guests
3. The grill did not work
4. Satellite / cable tv did not work
5. Aircondition main floor did not work
6. Several of the outside furniture are worn/broken. Armrest fallen off etc.
7. The kitchen needed cleaning. Due to ants in the kitchen we removed the big chopping board and found crumbs and lots of black mold on the kitchen table.
8. Bad smell in the basement with 4 sleeping rooms due to mold in the bathroom. We were unable to open window in the bathroom.
9. Mountainbikes. All flat and rusty, and there are no tools, pump or oil, so we could not fix them. Therefore they can’t be used.
10. There is no fitness room as the presentation says. There is an outside multi machine. All cables has felled off and it is all rusty. Can’t be used.
11. Pool table can’t be used. Nice pictures in the presentation. The table has been outside for maybe 5-6 years in sun and water. The table is completely worn, and the cue sticks are useless with only metal left on the heads.
12. There is one outside pool. The Homeaway says private pool and inside pool.
13. The description says we could receive golfpass. No information about that and we got no golfpasses.
The house is placed in a nice area and has a stunning view and a great pool. Due to all the complaints and the general standard of the house we find it very over prized.
We have without luck tried to get help from the owner, when we were there, and we have afterwards without luck tried to find a solution with a refund due to our complaints and the standard.
The owner has got the full complaint with pictures of mold etc.

Great views
We had a great week and enjoyed the remoteness of the villa. The highlights for us were 1) the amazing view and 2) the mountain bikes on the property that were available to borrow. We hadn't realised this prior to the trip but there are some great tracks above the villa which are nice and shaded by the forest, as well as some good walking trails which we used basically every day.

What a fantastic villa and holiday for my family.
2 weeks of pure tranquility and privacy. The villa is so spacious, well equipt and was plenty room for all 15 of us. The views are spectacular, unfortunately the pictures don't give the property justice its something you would have to see and experience am so glad my wife found it and will re-book again. Plenty of actives within the property and a fantastic walk within the pine forest which is just outside the gate, the town was only a short drive with again plenty of restaurants and amenities. The beach was only a maximum of 30 mins away but we found it hard leaving the villa and its surroundings as it was so relaxing. Jason and Gillian were superb in preparing us for our stay and assisting us with questions. Thank you both for making this one of our best family holidays.

Totally Relaxing Break
The layout with exactly as described, nestled away in the pine forest amidst olive groves and a lovely bottle of authentic olive oil was there for us upon arrival.
The terrace was amazing with the best sea views over Malaga city and many villages. At night was definetely something special.
The villa was perfect on arrival, everything explained to us, and we just relaxed from the very beginning.
totally enjoyed everything, would highly reccommend.

Perfect Holiday!
Just come back from a perfect holiday!
The owners were there to welcome us and to explain everything and totally prepared for our arrival. We asked for a shopping to be done which it was. The villa was private and no noise which is what we wanted. Plenty of space in the villa as many different terraces to relax. We went walking and ate in the many restaurant in Alhaurin. The town is full of charm and the people are friendly. I would 100% recommend to my family and friend if you are looking for a spacious villa in a peaceful location and the views are the best.
Perfect Spring Holiday!

Wonderful Villa
We've just returned from a wonderful, relaxing fortnight in this fantastic villa. Jason and Gillian were great hosts. They never interfered but were more than helpful when we asked any questions, both before and during our stay. The villa is very private but Alhaurin is easily accessible by car. The town has numerous lovely restaurants if you can tear yourself away from the villa and it's wonderful views. Plenty of activities at the villla for young and old and so much space you can always find a quiet spot. The villa itself is well equipped and very spacious.
