Perfect location actoss the strwet from Dr. CAVE beach. Local convenience stores and you arenon the hip strip. Awesome view

Upon arriving at hotel realized the name has been changed . When you going to room you have to lock yourself in theres 4 different locks. The entire house smells of mold . The washcloths were dingy the towels had holes in them and so did the sheets. Very outdated. They charge extra resort fees which doubles the amount you have to pay . Beds are extremely hard.

The location is great, it is right on the "hip strip" of MoBay. The unit was OK in condition, but needs updating. The view from the balcony was very nice.

Housekeeping is void. The room wa clean upon arrival. Two days later the housekeeper came back and gave 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth! Never cleaned ANYTHING. Not even picked up towels or sweep/mop the tile floor. She didnt even leave us supplie to clean for ourselves! We were out of toilet paper, it wasnt restocked. When we called front desk, we were told to go buy some at the market downstairs!!!

This is not a hotel and the front desk tells you that right away. Do not expect typical hotel customer service. This means that there is no late check out, bell service or full time maid when you need toilet paper. The grocery store at the place runs out of everything do don't plan on always having eggs or bread. This hotel is across the street from Doctors Cave beach. It is downtown with a lot of street vendors selling everything legal and illegal. The area is a bit dirty and safety was a concern in the evening. My son was approached 50 times by drug sellers.
The good thing was that is was cheap. We had 4 adults and the rate was 1/4 that of staying at an all inclusive. Food, Beach access and other closed part of the difference to saving half. The bed was fine, but futons were plastics and rough. The air conditioning went out one day and sleeping was tough that night.
The entry is on he top floor, accessible from the mountain in back.

Upon arrival at the Mobay Beach Club, which is actually called the Montego Bay Beach Club, the facility (pool, restaraunt, grounds) seemed nice. We got a key to our room and walked in to find something that looks nothing like the photographs on expedia. Do not book this room. The bed sheets don't seem to have been washed, and we opened a closet looking for extra sheets for the pullout bed and it smells like something died in there. The extra sheets smell like someone had a bathroom accident on them and they were never washed. Other closets have locks, and I am assuming there is a washer dryer behind one. I would have washed all of the bedding if I had access. I want to be contacted regarding a refund because when we told the front desk that our room wasn't what we had paid for, she didn't know what to tell me. The only positives are the close proximity to the Hip Strip and the pool and view of the water. Otherwise, this "suite" is quite gross.

The room was very clean but smelt old and oddly damp. Lots of facilities and excellent wifi. No one bothered us. Room did not feel very secure as door was old and looked like it had been kicked in before. Couldnt go out on balcony as the patio doors were a pig to shut. We didnt eat there and used the pool once which was kept very clean. The whole block is like a high rise flat and belongs to an era long gone. Its not the worse place I have ever been and I understand the whole building is being modernised its just unfortunate we got an old room. The building does lead onto the Main Street and there is plenty to do all around. Dr Caves Beach is right across the road and there is a ATM close by too. There is a Biggs restaurant right across the street but I would not recommend it as the service was terrible and we were ripped off with service charges and automatic tips etc.
