We loved the property and the easy access to our room without a formal check in. Hosts were accommodating and quickly took care of an issue that came up. We wished the beds had reading lights available as the only light was on the ceiling and a small lamp on a table. We were disappointed that breakfast was a made to order "bagged" breakfast after seeing the huge kitchen and the variety of baked pastries on the Expedia site.

The Sally Webster Inn was cozy, clean and comfortable. The rooms were beautifully decorated and continental breakfast was delivered to the room. The Inn is only a 10 minute walk from town. We had an excellent stay.

The room was very comfortable, everything worked well. The breakfast at 8am was very nice, as was the Keurig-style coffeemaker in the room. The location is great, about a 10-minute walk to the shops/beaches/restaurants. Having reserved parking right next to the Inn is very convenient. Marshall was very helpful. We were in the Anne Bonny room which is on the 1st floor (no having to climb stairs!), but it looks into the street so we kept our curtains closed. We will be back to Sally Webster on our next trip to Rockport.

We moved in for four nights and had a wonderful stay! Gorgeous redesigned inn with so much comfort and style! Loved the look, location and comfort. The room was beautiful and spotless, spacious tiled bathroom and the breakfasts delivered each morning were yummy! Enjoyed listening to a vintage album in the stylish living room. We walked to Bearskin Neck, Motif #1, the town and drove all over exploring Rockport, Gloucester and Essex. So much history, architecture and roads that all lead to stunning views and gorgeous photography!. The only disappointment was that the hydrangeas were not blooming yet - but the plants were covered with hundreds of buds!

Our stay was wonderful. The location was great - walking distance to the waterfront, main shops and attractions. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast automatically delivered to our room every morning was a real treat. We would stay there again and recommend it to all travelers.

The Sally Webster Inn was perfect for our weekend getaway. We stayed in the signature room and it was colorful, welcoming, and spacious for the two of us. Things to note: Bed very comfortable, location perfect to walk to town and the charm of Rockport. Easy to park in back and leave your car. We recommend going to Gloucester downtown and take in a harbor tour (we had Steve and he was fabulous) stopped in Rocky neck (artist knook and great bar with 45 wine selections). Enjoy the small indoor sitting area @ Sally’s ~ I read my kindle and listened to a record on the Victrola player. The pictures are exactly how it looks. Finally the breakfast brought to your door each morning was a nice touch. One of my husband’s favorite amenities. It’s an old Inn with quirks and a couple of tight spots, but expected. You’ll find this in the restaurants too. Follow their instructions and let go of time and just be for your stay. our no agenda plan was the best and we met soooo many wonderful people. I highly recommend this Inn! We will be back.

It was an easy (less than 10 min) walk to T wharf and Bearhskin cove. Bring a flashlight if walking on a moonless night. It seems odd not to have staff greet you, but all worked out fine. Left the car in their lot and walked to restaurants, etc. No need to keep looking for parking.

This inn is adequate for a one-night stay. Rooms and bathrooms especially are small, with little space for your belongings. We stayed in the Sadie the Goat Room and the fireplace mantel is dangerously positioned (sticks out) next to the bathroom door. We and another couple we traveled with) all had head encounters with this mantel. Breakfast delivered to your room in a bag, which you could eat in your room or in our case we used the small reception room downstairs, which was nice but not ideally set up for eating. Bed was comfortable, but room was quite warm with no obvious way to adjust that.

Staying at the Sally Webster Inn was a different experience as we never met the owners, managers or any staff member. The Inn was very clean and comfortable and convenient to Rockport harbor. Breakfast choices were adequate but would have preferred to eat outside of our room. Bathroom was tiny! Bed was comfortable and room was nicely decorated.

Very quaint little house with 5 bedrooms, all ensuite. Conveniently located within walking distance to seaport. Breakfast form and delivery in bags were efficient and heat. The bedrooms are all different. I like my Madame Cheng very much.

Couldn’t lock room door. Left unlocked while at dinner and concert for three hours. No tea bags upon arrival. No nightlight. No reading lights next to bed. Very pricey accommodation but disappointing. Never again.

This is a lovely Inn, very, very nice room and facility. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping in Bearskin Neck. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Room was refreshed daily, and breakfast was delivered timely and directly to our door. Add to this that we could leave our car for a 5-10 minute walk down to Bearskin Neck, not to mention being close proximity for daytrips into Salem and Gloucester as well as the local state parks, made this the perfect place for a getaway.

Fabulous stay! Loved the very stylish and whimsical interiors, loved how well thought-out everything was (beginning with the video showing how to find my room), loved the excellent breakfast (delivered silently). I also was surprised to find how pleasant it was to basically not have any interaction with staff, as everything was done via text or using the breakfast-ordering card; in theory, before this I thought I'd prefer to meet someone at check-in, etc., but it turns out, no. This was so perfectly executed it added to the convenience and serenity of the stay. Something was a bit glitchy with the Roku TV remote in the room -- O'Malley suite, I think, check the remote when it's on Hulu -- but I'm scratching the barrel to think of a caveat.

this is a property with no "front desk"...they send you a code and you let yourself in. As such it didn't have a lot of "atmosphere"...but the room was pretty and the place was very convenient. We had a breakfast delivery to our door...good coffee, your choice of things made the night before. My husband liked the scone and I thought the granola and blueberries were very yummy. I recommend Fleur Cuisine which was where we ate -- one of the best salmon dishes I ever had!

The Sally Webster is a nice place to stay in Rockport. It's just up the hill from the shops/restaurants of the area, so it's very convenient. The staff are lovely and friendly.
