Agréable moment passé dans ce bel endroit !

Le gîte est très bien décoré et le personnel charmant ! Les lits sont très confortables et la chambre très belle. Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient excellents !

Maravilla de rincón para escapar y reconectar.

Sin duda, el trato de Yolanda y Josep Maria. El amor, cariño y honestidad con el que hacen todo junto con el château, que es precioso y el entorno que es magnífico, hicieron de nuestra estancia una escapada que no olvidaremos. Volveremos seguro (más pronto que tarde). Gràcies Yolanda i Josep Maria, sou uns anfitrions fantàstics.

Found an analog refuge from the overpowering hectoc daily life

Its secluded location, its coziness, its facilities, the staff Iolnda and José María, its food. In one word: everything.

Superb

Such a lovely retreat. We loved the location, the decor, the pets, everything. The meals were really lovely and the rooms very comfortable.

A different starter to soup would have been welcomed on one of our 3 nights but definitely less soup than served, delicious as it was.

A very happy place in a remote environment

The location was beautiful but very remote so car/taxi essential but the owners were exceptionally helpful. The hotel was very small like an old fashioned farm house and almost entirely run by the owners the husband being an excellent chef!!

A clearer indication of the isolation of the hotel and its limitations and its rustic nature albeit both were enjoyed by us. The preparation of a light meal for us after our late return from the Yellow Train

Wonderful stay

A beautiful view from the terrace our bedroom window and well appointed rooms. Our 2 hosts were very friendly and wonderful hosts nothing was to much for them to do. We had a lovely 3 course dinner which was very convenient as the property is isolated.

Wonderful place to stay

Good location, near to the station for the yellow train. Lovely property with very nice hosts. Beautiful food.

Charming, with evidence of a lot of love, pride and care gone into the original decor and ambiance.

Location - tranquil and rustic. Wonderful for hiking and driving to local towns.

Unfortunately, it was understaffed. It seemed one of the hosts had an injury.

beautiful spot with nice rooms but not for a culinar trip

beautiful setting, old buildings renovated but not too much.

the restaurant in the Chateau was closed and it is 20 minutes drive (mountain road) to get to the nearest town. The staff did not assist us to point out the restaurants that were open (90% of the restaurants were closed on a Tuesday) nor did they offer to help to make a reservation. We ended up having 2 nights horrible fast food dinner.

Exceptional

Beautifully decorated in a very private setting with stunning views. The staff was extremely attentive and provided many details which make such a difference! I highly recommend opting for the dinners at the châteaux. They were delicious and very nicely accompanied by a pre-dinner drink in front of the fireplace and a snack to nibble on. And it was one of our birthdays and they made a cake specially for us! Very lovely touches!

I loved that it is authentic, many original materials. It felt you are in a home. It's the perfect place for hiking directly from the house. Remote, quite and all nature around you.

Good

The location is amazing. Nestled in a tiny hamlet between two hills, just you, the forest at your back, the sound of water running in the distance and birds all around. Not a single car passing by (it's a cul-de-sac). The private garden of the "Petit Château" is a joy in the morning. You can walk to the Castle from the Enveitg train station, takes about 1 hour on a not-too-busy country road.

A few details that I am sure will get fixed: a proper blind (or even better, shutters) in the bedroom would go a long way to making it a perfect and private sleep. A few broken door handles and such kind of temper the "premium" feel of the place. Cleaning could be upped a notch too in the living room.

Highlight of our holiday in France in atunning location

- Wonderful, rustic chateau in a breathtaking location in the mountains - Superb and spacious room with beautiful furniture and views - Amazing hosts who made us feel very welcome - Botero the cat who we fell in love with! - Delicious breakfast with home-made Catalan treats

Nothing. One possible improvement opportunity is to provide a kettle in the room so guests can make tea /coffee.

Exceptional getaway !

I loved everything about this place - the location (beautiful and away from it all), the people (warm, friendly and very accommodating), the food (wow!), their adorable cat, the room (large and beautifully decorated), walks in nature, cocktails by the fireplace, etc….

A luxurious, relaxing respite from Barcelona with amazing views and hiking right outside your door.

The location is stunning, super relaxing and an ideal spot for people looking to get away from the city. The breakfast was also such a treat every morning, Quim and Edu are great at what they do and we can't wait to go back!

The most beautiful experience

Everything. The food was amazing. The owners aren’t from this world. They are charming and professionals, just perfect.

Superlative service and accommodation

The breakfast exceeded all our expectations as did the evening meals cooked by Eduard. Every morning there was a hot item as well as smoked salmon, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, meusli etc. One of our guests was gluten free and they even made a special cake for her. Kim our host was fantastic he suggested walks for us, places to visit and restaurants all terrific

The internet is a bit poor but we are in the middle of nowhere!

Nice secluded place with a beautiful large house. Very good breakfast and dinner as well - much above what you could have expected from a remote place in the mountains. Trails close by lead to amazing views over the valley. Spacious, modern and very clean accomodation.
