Very good

Excellent location 3 minutes walk from the center. A modern and fully equipped kitchen. Free parking at night in a nearby public parking lot.

The towels, linens and furniture are outdated. Inconvenient access to the bed.

Very nice place and thanks to that a great stay. I'd love to come back here.

The house is well located, close to everything. Free parking 200 meters away. Very clean, equipped kitchen. Very caring and friendly service.

The entrance door to the apartment could be soundproofed better. Fortunately, there are not many guests in the facility.

Mismanaged and Misleading

It's close to the centre but so are others. Quedlinberg is a small town. Rooms were ok. But pretty basic.

Many issues. First, our check in was mismanaged. Even though we communicated our arrival time well ahead, the owner didn't tell us where to park. We were asked to get instructions regarding parking upon arrival. When we arrived, the entrance door was locked. We tried calling the owner, nobody answered. Then we drove around a bit looking for parking while one of us stayed outside the property. After about 20 minutes, some lady came with the keys. Parked her car on kerbside, kept the car on running and rushed us through the check in. Second, the property charged us extra 6 euros. Apparently this is tourist tax but wasn't mentioned in the booking website. No invoice was given either for the payment of the room. Third, when I asked for invoice in the morning of check out and the reason for extra charges over the phone, the owner became very nasty. Ultimately we had to sort out the matter through booking.com. Last, the downside to the room on the main street is that you can hear people chatting as they walk past until 11pm.

Fantastic weather during the whole stay, beautiful old buildings, Would stay here again..

Nice apartment with good facilities, great location close to the centre, secure parking for the motorbikes, comfortable bed + a good shower.

15 minute wait for the keys to be delivered, Furniture starting to look old & tired, no room to walk around the bed.

Fine for one night, would go for it again

The location was nice, right on the edge of Old Town. We were able to park our car free of charge right behind this property.

The apartment was outdated and smelly (even though it was clear). There was noise at night as our neighbours upstairs were moving about their apartment. I wouldn't book this place again.

Walls and ceiling were a bit thin, so you heard people moving around above.

Exceptional

This is the best place you can get in the center of the town for the good price and the high level of comfort. If you travel alone or with family by car this should be your first choice. 5 minutes to walk to center of old town.

There is no breakfast in this place but the room has it's own kitchen. So if it's not an issue to cook for yourself you should stop your search on Alter Topf. Plus there a lot of places to eat in old town.

Centrally located and Perfect stay for family.

The Location was very central. The rooms were clean. Its a perfect stay for the family with kids. Amenities in general were sufficient to do some cooking.

Hard to say, but there is a bit of noise as its a very centrally located. But with window closed its quiet.

Friendly owner, he explained to us everything easily. Parking and location - top!

Wi-Fi didn't work. We didn't want to disturb the owner, it wasn’t that important. Also, it would be nice if there was tea/coffee.
