It was more than 80 degrees in the room and despite contacting the front desk for assistance with the thermostat, and assurances that they could fix the issue centrally, the air conditioning did not seem to work. We slept with the windows open facing a noisy street.

Great hotel, good location. It looked like hotel just being renovated. Very nice. Great bathroom, great room and decor. Only thing I did not like was goose feather pillows and covers, which to me aren't comfy, they smell and make noise and gave me allergies. Pillows were changed after my request. Breakfast was great. Will return.

Only problem with this hotel is that they dont have a full fledged spa and no pool, which was a bit shocking since its a 5 star hotel.

Lovely clean property with great rooftop bar and awesome breakfast. Enjoyed our 3 day stay very much.

Loved this hotel! Rooms were perfect. Staff was so polite and accommodating. The rooftop bar is amazing for drinks, view and food! Breakfast buffet in the dining room was also perfect. Overall gorgeous hotel and loved staying in the luxury hotel area. So much quieter than the busy tourist areas I’ve stayed before. Highly recommend this hotel!

I would just say I got pretty disappointed with the room. We booked standard room with king bed. The room was so small, so me and my partner barely was moving around. The bed was absolutely terrible. Pillows covered with plastic covers which was super uncomfortable. I barely could sleep for 5 nights. Cover was also very uncomfortable. I usually don’t write bad reviews but to be honest, I was happy to leave this hotel :(
And the price wise this place and pretty expensive to have such an experience.

Fantastic hotel with great staff and the rooms were large. The property is beautifully designed and at the end of a long day sightseeing it is like being welcomed home. The location is perfect, walkable to all the main sights but in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by great restaurants. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

My stay at the Intercontinental Rome Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Cristina, the Customer Relations Manager. From the moment I arrived, Cristina went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was unforgettable. Her attention to detail and personalized care truly made me feel like a valued guest.
The hotel itself exuded elegance and charm, with beautifully appointed rooms and stunning views of the city. The amenities were top-notch, and every aspect of my stay was meticulously thought out.
Cristina's warmth and professionalism were evident in every interaction, whether she was assisting with dining recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply ensuring that my needs were met. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly set the Intercontinental Rome Hotel apart.
Overall, my experience at the Intercontinental Rome Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in no small part to Cristina's outstanding hospitality. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and I look forward to returning soon. Grazie mille, Cristina, for making my stay truly unforgettable!

the hotel was closed and I am still trying to resolve how I will be compensated...the communication by both hotels.com and Ambasciatori has been abysmal...I would like the email of the president or CEO of both companies.

I am a 100% sure they stole my brand new 250 euro Apple airpods pro.... be carefull of your belongings you will end up being robbed by their staff, they denied to have security cameras on the luggage storage room, so they dont even care for luggage security while they “take care” of your luggage while you visit the city on your last day... such a coincidence to be robbed at your last day at the time you have to leave the country because flight tickets.

We just returned from the weekend at this hotel, it was at least 6th visit at this nice hotel. This time we were really shocked, because after coming back home we noticed that we have been robbed. On the last morning of our visit, we packed all the stuff in the suitcase and went for a walk. When we came back we took the suitcases, locked them and left for the airport. At home the suitcase was still locked, the lock not broken, suitcase in one peace, without damage. But…inside we found empty shoe box without shoes. Imagine our anger, there should have been expensive LV shoes that we bought at Rinascente on the first day of our visit. How is it possible that 5* start hotels has such stuff working?
Otherwise the hotel is very nice and staff is friendly. So far we have been very satisfied with the hotel and would be coming again, but this incident left very unpleasant feeling and we will not come back to Ambasciatori Palace.

We loved this hotel. The Superior room was huge and so unique. The bathroom was spacious and the location of this hotel could not have been better. We were walkable from every major Rome attraction. The hotel restaurant is not fantastic, but there are many restaurants all around, so it was not an problem. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, very good location, large comfortable room. Service was very friendly and efficient at the reception but rather slow in the breakfast dining room. Breakfast was good but the bread was not freshly baked.
2.5
Staff was professional and kind. Our room was gigantic and beautiful with a great, spacious bathroom. We met two of the bartenders there, Margherita and Marco. Marco was kind enough to suggest places to visit and helped us try a new kind of beer. Margherita was hilarious and fun to talk to. The breakfast that was included was satisfying and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Lovely hotel. Good service but it’s all a bit tired. Lifts are slow too. Breakfast was ok. But overall good value. (140 eur a night inc breakfast)
