Oakland is the healthcare and academic hub of the city, and it is also a major cultural and historic destination. The home itself is situated in the Schenley Farms National Historic District.
Located right on the bus route, with access to express buses for downtown destinations. With numerous colleges nearby, Uber is all over this area, all the time. You'll also likely find Bird scooters not too far from the front door.
You can easily walk to everything in the neighborhood - colleges, restaurants, historic sites, shopping, etc...
Between Pitt and Carnegie Mellon campuses and walking distance to many green areas. Enjoy the historic architecture. Many cultural and athletic attractions are nearby. You're only a 20-minute walk from Schenley Park which has the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, a golf course, and an ice skating rink. On the way, you'll pass by one of the most familiar buildings in the Pittsburgh skyline, the Cathedral of Learning, and the Carnegie Museum of Art. The location really can't be beat!

We couldn't be happier with our recent stay in this beautiful, clean, fully-renovated home. We had two young kids on our trip and I was so appreciative of the added touches of kids tableware, high chair, and even a crib in one of the bedrooms. It will certainly reduce the amount we need to pack when we stay next. The property managers were lighting fast with their responses to a few questions. We were super comfortable throughout our stay and will surely be back :) Thank you!!

This house was as beautiful as it was in the listing- centrally located in the city with easy access to all the major attractions. Lots of parking in the driveway. Minimal road noise for an urban house which was nice and a small side yard for kids to burn off steam. Would definitely recommend.

Comminication and responsiveness with owner Andrew was amazing from booking through checkout. Quick responses on the few questions we had during our stay. We would stay here again and definitely recommend if you like a rennovated historic home with modern updates.

This was perfect for our family. We came to town for the weekend, 4 adults and 3 teenage kids. Plenty of space. Everything in the house was thoughtfully organized and labeled. Made it very easy to settle in and relax. Upscale decor and fixtures, tastefully designed, I was very impressed. Located near University of Pittsburgh campus, easy access to downtown and strip district. Lots of restaurants nearby. Andrew, the host, clearly cares about his guests’ experience. Great communication. I highly recommend this property.

Ten of us stayed at the property while in Pittsburgh for a graduation at Pitt. We loved the location which is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the campus. The home itself is outstanding. The kitchen and family room was great for family gatherings. The outdoor fire pit and yard was a nice gathering place as well. The house is modern with plenty of amenities and basic necessities. The owners/management were OUTSTANDING and accommodated a couple of last minute requests. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay at the property again if we were ever back in Pittsburgh.

This place has so much charisma that it has to be the hippest home in the Pittsburg area. Don't be fooled by the neighborhood. It's actually serene. Once you enter the home you will be completely delighted and realize you made the right choice.
