Wonderful location with beach views. A little dated interior was reflected and appreciated for lower price point. Within walking distance to so many great and affordable Food options. It was unseasonably stormy weather the week we were there and this room with beautifully maintained grounds gave us an island mid point to adjust plans to chase the sunshine all week. We have stayed at many higher end resorts and appreciate this experience more for the overall offerings. Cannot wait to come back and we would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed having Tommy bahama beach chairs and a cooler to use.

Good location - close enough to services and tours, far enough away for privacy and peace. Excellent property - clean and well-kept. Responsive property managers!

Everything about this place was exactly perfect for my needs. Located somewhat in the middle of all we wanted to do it offered good access to the beach close by restaurants and probably one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on while traveling. The kitchenette is small don't plan on cooking a big meal but for making coffee in the morning and storing small bites to snack on in the fridge for our party of two it was perfect. Check in/put was super easy and the parking was ample. I would definitely stay here again

It's close to everything you need. The room was very clean. The AC whisper quiet. It was furnished with everything we needed for our stay.

This apartment was very clean and well appointed. It was great to have some coffee to start and there were beach toys available! Although I wouldn't describe this property as "luxury" the price point is very affordable and the location is PERFECT! On the beach, great walkable markets, central to all Kauai has to offer. For my money, this is the best location on the island.

Had horrible interactions with Vacasa about an issue prior to arrival. The room and location were great, but no real support from the management concerning the problem at the property

Nice place. Would return and recommend. Sleeping with balcony door open and hearing the ocean is pretty awesome.

Great location, lovely place. Has good amenities & welcome snacks. Wish they had a dishwasher for when we left.

Overall things were great. The room is cute and clean with an ocean view perfect for watching the sunrise. My only frustration was the code for the door. We were given two different ones, one of which didn't work at all and one that worked only once. Fortunately we were able to reach someone at Vacasa in the late evening, sparing us from having to sleep in our car. Their customer service was excellent and the situation was resolved.

My original booking was canceled because there was construction on the building, so they transferred me to one of their other properties. The new property was just a few feet from the ocean, in a nice little complex with a simple pool and spa. For my balcony I had a clear view of the sunrise and could see the ocean easily, including a monk seal that swam by on my first day there. They responded quickly to my phone calls when I needed a couple changes

My husband and I had never been to any of the islands, and were told over and over that Kauai was the best. (We agree) We had a really relaxing stay at the Islander. The overall vibe of the area is very calm, quiet and friendly. We only had a car three of our seven days there and found that we could walk to plenty of different places to eat. The room was as described, clean, so conveniently located and the whole property is beautifully landscaped. We spent most days just relaxing in the shade on the beach (steps from our room) swimming, snorkeling, and usually ended up in the hot tub with Mai Tais. Nothing wrong with that! They were even able to offer us a complimentary late checkout. Will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed how conveniently located our place was - close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping! Also a short drive to the North or South areas. We stayed for 3 weeks and there wasn`t any laundry available and we had to pay extra for cleaning. The other amenities were great! The room was clean & the property is well-maintained. We almost always had chair on the beach available to us. It was quite awkward when we went to the front desk with questions. The chairs in our room were not very comfortable for sitting.

Rented thru VRBO. A couple ahead of me checking in got the red carpet - 10 minute welcome conversation, orientation, coupons for local places, etc. When I got to the desk, it was like `you`re here for the parking pass, right?` And I had to ask where my unit was in the complex. Definitely treated differently at check in.Parking lot was sometimes FULL if you come back after dinner. Would be nice to know where overflow can park legally.Location is amazing - on a beautiful beach. Decent restaurants withing walking distance and coffee shop for mornings. Our unit was clean, and had a view of the ocean. Toilet ran constantly but didn`t bother us. Ventilation in the bathroom was loud and didn`t move much air. Had to turn on A/C to get dampness out of the unit. Also, a guy knocked on our door to spray for bugs while we were there on a 3 night stay. Good, but you can`t fit that in when no guests are present?

The view and sounds from #361 are remarkable. The trade winds kept us cool throughout the day and filled the room with fresh air at night. The roosters wake up the island early, so get to bed on time. The beach is swimable but does require some experience. The unit itself is fine. Appliances work but some things could use some updating, perhaps a new AC filter to get rid of the light mold scent we didn’t experience in another unit. Location was awesome. Marketplace and lava lava are next door and won’t keep u up at night. We had an issue upon check in and while our experience with reservation staff was courteous, we were not really accommodated for the inconvenience of having to move rooms mid stay. And we never heard back as promised. Despite this, we would stay at the Aston Islander again.

We reserved this unit specifically for its ocean front beach view for our vacation. Instead, we had a full direct construction zone view complete with back hoe, bull dozer, and dump truck during our 4 night/5 day stay. Everyday construction work complete with the back up alerts for each construction vehicle. We planned our vacation months in advance; why didn’t you tell us in advance?! Our Kauai vacation was ruined. Why didn’t you warn us in advance so we could make other arrangements?

We loved our stay on Kauai at Islander on the Beach. The room has an ocean view and we could hear the ocean waves throughout our stay. Kapaa is also a great location for visting all parts of the island. The room was everything we needed it to be.

Beautiful unit with a beatiful view. Couldn`t ask for more. The unit has everything you need for a day on the beach or just resting and relaxation. I was very sad to say goodbye. The property is centrally located and an amazing market with all one needs is a 2 min drive from the property

This unit is right next to the ocean and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The pictures don`t really show how amazing the place is! The unit is fully furnished and located near a nice shopping plaza just a few steps away. I strongly suggest it. Only minor thing is that I called the contact on the island to ask about a potential late check-out but she never got back to me.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. You can see the beach from the balcony and it’s just a few yards walking distance. The bed is super comfortable and the unit is excellent as a vacation rental. The place is very well maintained and has a good amount of amenities to enhance your stay. The location is great, walking distance from a shopping center and 15 minutes from the airport. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat.
