My wife and I stayed for a week in this lovely apartment - the views! Just wow! The apartment is clean, well equipped, and so convenient for public transportation to get in and out of the city. JP was wonderful to work with and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property!

Super easy to take bus into Manhattan once you get the hang of it. Best View of the skyline! An elevator would be the only thing that would make it better but stairs aren't terrible once you get used to them.

We traveled with 2 adults and 2 kids--ages 9 & 13. I was a little nervous about traveling to and from NJ everyday, but the 15-20 minute bus ride was very easy once we got the hang of it. I've stayed in VRBOs in Brooklyn and Harlem (when it was legal), and this "commute" was similar, if not shorter. The space was unbeatable. 100 times better than a tiny hotel room. The kitchen and bathroom are generously sized, it was rainy when we were there, so the washer/dryer was nice, and having a bedroom for mom dad was awesome. It is a 5 flight walk up, but it is worth THE VIEW. JP was easy to communicate with, and check in was easy! We had a great stay! Thank you!

We presently surprised after a seven hour drive to see the skyline of NYC with the reflection of the lights on the Hudson River. The view form the room was very romantic. We loved the convenience of the location only a stones throw from the bus ride to the tunnel under the river to catch the subway in Manhattan. That was fun way to save some money on taxis! The place was very clean and had all the amenities and more for a great stay. The bed is very comfy too! The only thing I would recommend is to fix the broken latches in the windows to seal them tight to block some of the noise form the road. Overall my wife and I had a wonderful stay at Pierre’s place. Vrbo made it easy to stay I touch. The binder with the instructions and pics of places to eat was helpful. We will be returning to JP’s place in Weehaken again some day to tour more of the The Big Apple and New Jersey City!

View was awesome of the city at night and in the day . Was very serene . Transportation was easy to get around with the ferry and Uber . Alittle noisy at night with traffic and sirens but hey it’s the city and to be expected . Stairs keeps you in shape for sure . Be ready for that . Overall great stay .

Really nice property with an unbelievable view of the New York skyline. The space was nicely laid out and well-furnished. A little grocery and restaurants were within easy walking distance and the park just across the street along the waterfront was amazing. The only drawback was climbing steps to the 5th floor unit, but definitely worth the view. The ferry is within walking distance. While we used the 220 steps down to the ferry level, walking directions not using the steps (ADA accessible) would be a nice addition to the Welcome book. An excellent place to stay for a trip to NYC!

Beautiful! Exactly as described and pictured. We were thrilled for the well stocked kitchen, bathroom, and laundry supplies. It was also very clean.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The apartment as mentioned by others is overlooking the Manhattan skyline and it is stunning. Honestly we could have spent our time just watching the changing scenery but of course since we had not visited NY before we were keen to explore. It’s a beautiful apartment with cooking facilities if you want to self cater, or you can take a short walk to good restaurants in the area. We were travelling as a family of 3 so my 15 year old slept on the sofa bed in the living area overlooking the view so he was very happy with this! Buses run regularly in to the city and the ferry is down the stairs within 10 minutes walk. Yes the apartment is up five flights of stairs and accessing the ferry means more stairs so be prepared for that but otherwise it’s pretty easy to get around. Thanks Pierre for a great stay!

The view is worth the stair climb

The penthouse was great! The view was amazing! Two things added could take this location to another level would be add a balcony and an ELEVATOR!! It was hard trying to party and have a good carefree time thinking about having to climb five flights of stairs afterwards but overall an amazing trip! Thanks for your hospitality!

We cannot say enough about this property and the host, JP. Communication was great, check-in was a breeze and the property is exactly as shown and described - with a breathtaking view! The house was stocked with everything we needed and appreciated the coffee that was available (and the Italian espresso maker was easy to use)
The house manual was a nice touch and very detailed, with great instructions on how to get to NYC (it is so easy). The neighborhood was very quite and safe, with all kinds of people walking around late in the evening. Close to groceries and the bus stop & ferry terminal. And the parking pass was very helpful for us (we did not use the car once while we were here)
As mentioned, access to NYC and back from smooth and quick. The subway system is not as intimidating as we used the CityMapper app (very helpful!).
And did we mention the views?!?! Sure the stairs weren't the most fun, but it is worth every step. The sidewalk in front is used by several people throughout the day and night to capture what has to be one of the best views of the city. We saw some News Broadcast people, as well as a small movie shoot down the road that was using the park/view as the backdrop.
Thank you again JP for helping to make our first trip to NYC a perfect experience. We will definitely be back!

A little busy and need good health but that's NY!
We enjoyed that season where prunus where all in flowers, as lots of daffodils in parks.

We had an amazing stay. By far had the best view of the city you could ask for. Bed was comfortable. Everything you could need in a kitchen to cook, a keurig would be a nice addition. Bus stop was one block away and took about 10mins to get into the city or back at night.
Grocery store and a few restaurants walking distance. Will stay here again for sure our next trip.

We absolutely LOVED the view!!! If I could post photos of our view I totally would!!! Best view everrrrr!!! We sat by the windows whenever we were there, overlooking NYC. The night views were the best… honestly the views in the listing don’t compare to what you’ll see when you’re actually at this place in person!
We drove from Ohio for a little vacation. We spent our first 3 days at the American Dream Mall (which is only a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic) then after looking at the city for a few days we finally got to go visit it in person! It was only about 15-20 minute drive by an Uber going through the tunnel underwater. We saw lots of ferries right in front of the place but decided to Uber it.
Great place! Great location. Had everything we needed!
Only downfall is the 5 flights of stairs… that was rough, especially after walking around NYC or the American Dream mall all day. There is no elevator. Definitely showed my husband and I how out of shape we really are! Lol
Oh & we Couldn’t figure out how to turn the heat on either. It got chilly a couple nights but we just bundled up. There were extra blankets in the closet for us to use.
We will be back!
I seriously don’t think we could have had a better view of NYC!!!
Thank you Pierre!

We had a wonderful time with our kids in NYC. Pierre was awesome the whole time and we had everything we needed and more! Very clean, safe, family neighborhood. Only thing is it’s on the 5th floor & there wasn’t a elevator…. Going up the steps we’re fun after walking around NYC! But I will definitely be back and book again!

JP was quick with communication and very accommodating. He was able to work with our last minute requests, the best! JP provides his guest with a welcome book that has really helpful information in it regarding the unit and public transportation.
The unit was even better than the photos listed. It was very clean and well taken care of. Decor was cute! It was a warm, cozy, and a comfortable stay for 4 adults during the cold month of December. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING views from the living/dining room. The views were so nice that my family changed our itinerary and stayed in a day just to soak up the views!
We rented a car but didn’t need to use it half the time because transportation to/from NYC was so simple. Neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was safe.
I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else upon my return to New Jersey/NYC. I’m going to recommend JP’s listing to my family and friends. Book with JP, you won’t regret it. :)
