We came early ( off the boat from Naples) and they offered a space for our luggage, promised room 3 hrs earlier and feed us fabulous breakfast. Hotel is above expectations- it is set in 16 century defense wall. Rooms are superbly renovated with all the historical arches and walls. The atmosphere is peaceful with beautiful garden full of flowers and lemon trees.

This was perfectly tucked away into a quiet, yet central location. The architecture was a perfect blend of modern and old charm. Our room was a bit small, however there are larger rooms available. The service was amazing, and we would recommend this to everyone.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our two night stay in Palermo. The hotel is beautifully hidden behind a high wall and secure gate, and has a relaxing garden, pool and jacuzzi. Our room was built into the original bastion walls and was extremely clean and comfortable. The coffee machine and complimentary water were a nice touch. Breakfast was also excellent with a good range of options. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. There were also two good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk

On arrival through the gates of the hotel we were blown away by the outdoor space of the hotel. The gardens and the pool area were beautiful. We had a large room overlooking the pool which gave us lots of space and light into the room. The bed was comfy and we slept great during our stay. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and gave lots of recommendations for dinner and where to see in Palermo. The hotel is within minutes walk of many good restaurants and bars all filled with locals and within 10 minutes of the historic centre. We loved our stay here, it was so relaxing and having the pool area to cool off after a morning exploring was so welcome!

A gorgeous small boutique hotel set in a quiet location. It is a beautiful location with a small pool and outdoor area. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel

I deducted one star from Property Conditions and Facilities because wifi was not working correctly in my room, and there was an issue with the mirror light in my bathroom, I was unable to turn the light off. I brought both of those to the attention of the front desk and they were very apologetic and friendly, however I had to check out before the issues were resolved.

This property is an oasis of quiet in a noisy city. The private garden is beautifully landscaped with a small swimming pool. Our room and bathroom were surprisingly large, with high ceilings. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Staff is helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel!

Really great hotel with only a few rooms . Very central location but still not too loud. Very good recommendations for restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the pool and the whirlpool. Breakfast is much better then normally in Italy. We will come for sure again.

1 night in this hotel was not enough. If I knew about this beautiful hotel I would book for longer. We got upgraded to a room with jacuzzi. Beautiful, spacious, clean, with mini bar, coffee machine, kettle and snacks. Pool was great and water was heated!! Breakfast was good. Staff are very nice! I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling with small kids.

Palermo is a big, beautiful city, and after a long day of exploring it is amazing to come back to this incredible little oasis. The hotel is surrounded by and built within centuries old walls - it is beautifully appointed with a lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Parking is easy and the little piazza has the best restaurant just feet from the hotel.

We visited now in januari-februari when there isn’t a lot of tourist. The staff is really amazing! They helped us so much during our stay. We rented a car and they helped us with parking, cities to visit and we even got a map with places and restaurants they recommend. And even the garden is so cute. Loved this place!

Had an awesome time at this hotel. It is basically brand new and the room ceilings are like 20 feet high. A nice reprieve from the usual European under-sized and under cooled rooms. The staff went above and beyond. Would definitely return.

Palermo is a little rough around the edges but this hotel is an oasis. Having walked around most of the city, the hotel is in the best spot as it’s not too touristy and feels authentic. Perfectly situated on a quiet square with fantastic restaurants, wine bars and cafes a short walk away. All the main attractions are within easy walking distance. The staff were very welcoming and gave us great tips on where to eat, drink and visit. The rooms are well designed and clean, and the bathrooms are large with excellent showers. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staying at Hotel Bastione Spasimo in Palermo was a delight. Cannot fault it.The staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to please you. Breakfast was excellent and the room was ideal. They managed very successfully to create a relaxing atmosphere. Idyllic surroundings.

Everything is new and updated, inside of an old building with amazing arched stone ceilings. The rooms and outdoor spaces are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is in walking distance to everything, but in a quiet street. Our favorite hotel of the trip, we we were only sorry we couldn’t stay longer!
