Thank you Derek for sharing this wonderful property with us. Spotless and meticulous, all details anticipated and provided for. Derek was fantastic both before and during our stay, we could not have been more pleased. The property itself has so much character and so aesthetically appealing. We went to gardens every day - Chanticleer, Longwood, Winterthur, Mount Cuba Center (HIGHLY recommended along with Chanticleer) and came back home to park the car and walk to restaurants and all that West Chester offers out our front door. Will absolutely do this again.

We stayed at the townhouse for 5 nights with another couple who had not been to Phila. The location for going into Center City, visiting Longwood Gardens, Valley Forge and Marsh Creek State Park was ideal. The house was spotless and well-appointed. Derek, our host, was super responsive. We will definitely stay again when we are in town visiting family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect and walking distance to downtown West Chester. The house was immaculately cleaned and decorated. The house is older but renovations have modernized the kitchen and baths while retaining the unique character of the original structure. We really enjoyed the outside back patio space for visiting and access to the garage. Family members (5 of us) ranged in age from 65-75 and luckily we are all in great physical shape because the stairs heading up to the bedrooms could be a bit challenging.
We enjoyed the kitchen layout, lighting, and the quality of the cooking gear but as others have pointed out some basics are lacking like a colander and a vegetable peeler. We brought our own coffee maker along because there is only one of those pod contraptions at the house.
The only negatives were the lack of hand towels and washcloths for the bathrooms (there was only one of each) and the sofa bed mattress could use an upgrade. We also could not open any of the windows as they were stuck shut. Maybe that was good thing because the weekend student partyers walking by at 3 a.m. did wake up folks sleeping in the front bedroom.
Overall, a positive experience and appreciated the prompt communications with Derek to answer questions.

Excellent comms ahead of stay, home is super clean and well appointed. Having a garage and off street parking this close to the center of town is a true bonus.
Perfect for families up to 4 and within a two minute stroll of West Chester's downtown shops and restaurants. Owner Derek is super efficient with answering questions and the instructions are very clear and easy.
Only mild thing to be aware of is that you are in a busy town so noise levels at night are what you should expect from being on a main road.
Highly recommended!

This recently updated historic home is super cute. I liked that it was at the edge of a vibrant neighborhood full of restaurants and adorable shops. Step out the front and walk 2 blocks to a chemex, an acai bowl, and some vintage shopping? Why yes, please! The primary bedroom is pretty large while the second bedroom is pretty cozy. I'd recommend this rowhome. There are a lot of steps in between the bedrooms so if you have really young kids, you might want to be aware of that. The kitchen was well appointed but lacked a colander and a few kitchen tools. So many restaurants to choose from but my autistic son loves to eat pasta and bake so that was a downside for us. We made do, however, and enjoyed our stay.

Four women friends returning for high school reunion. Great location for our activities. Very comfortable- nice size living room, dining room (great table for playing games). 2 bathrooms were essential and newly remodeled. Lovely backyard - unfortunately too hot and humid to use. Portable air conditioners provided. Stairs a bit steep but manageable. Parking garage for one car. We are able to move cars to a lot across the way after 5 for overnight free parking. Restaurants and shopping right close. On weekends the street is made into a pedestrian walkway with restaurants moving out into the street. The block in front of the house remaibed open to traffic and parking. Great place. Perfect for us. Derek was very responsive to our emails.

This is a beautifully updated house with all the charm of a old house in the heart of historic West Chester. The location is ideal for waking to all the shops and restaurants in town
Prior to check-in I received detailed information on accessing the property, utilizing the heating/AC and other amenities as well as a list of favorite restaurants in town. It was super easy to follow and I had no problem figuring everything out. The availability of off street parking here is also a huge bonus.
I would recommend this place to any friends or family looking
