Our home is located in West Columbia, SC in an area affectionately called “the Avenues.” West Columbia, or WeCo, is a vibrant neighborhood directly across the river from downtown Columbia. It is minutes from USC campus, Williams- Brice Stadium, and the South Carolina State House. WeCo has miles of beautiful riverside walking trails, delicious restaurants, the Riverbanks Zoo, and two awesome beer gardens!
Columbia was founded in 1805 and is the State capital of South Carolina. In more recent years, it has seen a boom in its arts culture, including its own film festival that is ranked in the top 20 film festivals in the US. Over 14 million people visit Columbia every year.
Often times, you may hear Columbia being referred to as Soda City. This comes from the US postal code abbreviation for the city, Cola. From Cola came Soda City, a moniker which locals have embraced. Welcome to Soda City!
Columbia is very much a driving town with tons of parking everywhere. If you don't have a car, there is Uber and Lyft which are easy to come by in our area. If you do have a car, free on-site parking for 2 cars is available at our house.

Communication was excellent! Location was a great convenience! Also easy to get to fort Jackson from this property! Home interior design perfect! Enough space for large family…cozy but not too much wasted space!

Lovely little house with a nice back yard for our dog to do a little running around. The house had all of the essentials and anything else we could've needed on our stay. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely book again. Wendy was super helpful and responsive as well!

This house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Super easy check in, property was very clean, really comfortable beds, and all the paper supplies needed for our entire 5 day stay. Love the neighborhood and the walk ability to the river walk, restaurants, and brewery. We just moved our daughter and son in law to town, so we will definitely be back!!! Thanks for a great stay!!

Family came into town for the weekend. Went to a men’s BB game.
This house is in a great location, good neighborhood and easy to get around.
Communication was amazing throughout the process. House had plenty of space, clean, and comfortable.
The only thing the house needs is a wine opener. But, we had one in the car (doesn’t everyone?)
Thanks again for a great weekend!

Super clean. Shower has great pressure and drains without a problem. There are convenient night lights in the bathroom. Beds are very comfortable with ample sheets and covers and a good pillow selection. We used the washer and dryer and they worked well. The refrigerator was full-sized and cold. There are ceiling fans in almost every room: important tip - the control for the ceiling fan is the little sliding piece to the right of the light switch. Kind of subtle. There are ample electrical outlets throughout the house. The internet worked great.
Our dog loved the fenced-in backyard. It took him a little while to figure out that it was okay to be off the leash and to roam around which was kind of funny.
It's a great location; access to Congaree National Park is easy. The neighborhood seemed safe and the neighbors waved and seemed to friendly.
A grocery and a drugstore are just down the street.
Get a cinnamon roll from Devine Cinnamon Roll Deli.

The house was perfect for us. It is spacious, well equipped, and nicely updated. The location was excellent for our planned activities, less than ten minutes to the zoo, children's museum, and capitol. The fenced backyard was great for relaxing in the evenings.

Cute little home with so many great upgrades and updates. Property manager was so quick to answer any questions and/or concerns. Property manager checked on us by text to make sure everything was good before, during and after our stay. We will definitely stay on this property if we are back in the area.

We were delighted with this property. Pictures do not do it justice as its charm is amazing. Spotless clean, beds were surprising with white soft sheets and fluffy pillows. The two bedrooms that had the king beds were spacious. They went the extra mile and upon arrival you have a welcome package with popcorn and coffee stuff. The stove had spices, salt and pepper and oil for convenience of cooking. The wine glasses were clean and easy to locate (this is an important thing lol). The location is only 2 blocks from everything and you can walk to galleries, shops and wonderful restaurants. It is a quiet neighborhood and you feel safe.
One note: They have ice trays in case you require lots of ice. You might want to just stop and grab a bag of ice before your arrival.
I can recommend this property to anyone. We travel quite a bit and this property is one that we will be returning to in the future. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. It is simply charming!

This rental house was perfect! We were able to bring our dogs and feel comfortable with the fenced in back yard. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 teenagers) but we could have comfortably fit 2 more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook one night. The neighborhood was so cute and loved that we could walk to breakfast, coffee shops, the Savage Brewery and more.
