About this house rental
This newly remodeled home on the ocean is designed for large group gatherings, multiple families and groups wanting a well designed and appointed space for their retreat. The decor is Industrial with open concept living, open rafters, stained concrete floors, barn wood and large living spaces to accommodate large groups. Even with a large group, you can find solace and tranquility throughout the home.
We give guests space but we're never far away should there be any questions or concerns. Call, email or message us at anytime and we'll be happy to help.
Located directly on Vilano Beach just half a mile north of the bridge.
Guests do not have garage access.
Enjoy the views from one of three large balconies overlooking the ocean or play ping pong or pool in our downstairs recreation and living area. Use one of the two kitchens to either whip up a meal or cater to your group at the massive tables that sit 20 plus. Play bartender or better yet, hire a bartender to serve your guests at the live edge bar that seats eight. Sit around the enormous center island that seats 10 taking in the ocean views as you enjoy your happy hour. Steps to the ocean, this house is the perfect venue for your gathering. The vistas from the third floor open railing custom stairwell has views to Anastasia National Seashore, the Lighthouse and all the way up to Ponte Vedra. It literallly feels like you are on a crusie liner from the third floor wall of windows. Enjoy the sunrise from the primary bedroom deck as you take a seat in a swinging chair or perform your sun salutation. Catch the sunsets and views of the Matanzas River from the front of the home on the large balcony off the dining area. The large paver driveway has enough capacity to fit 10 plus vehicles. The white shiplapped walls and black lighting fixtures, custom tiled bathrooms make the space modern and clean. Custom wood bar in the recreation room is great for conversation as you gather for a game or karaoke!!! Outside granite bar overlooking the ocean allows for the party to continue as you barbecue the catch of the day or relax in the small pool with a nice glass of wine. There is never a dull moment at this house. People watching is endless and the variety of wildlife keeps you entertained for hours. Even though there are t.v.'s in almost every bedroom and several in each open living area, the pelicans swooping down from the third floor balcony or dolphins surfing keep you entertained for hours.

We had a lovely stay at this home!! Certainly plenty of space for our family…we had our kids and grandkids here with us and we all enjoyed the beach, the area, and our accommodations. We definitely had some issues in the beginning but very pleased and impressed with the response from the management team and the owners. We highly recommend staying here!!

We have stayed here for the last three years and thoroughly enjoyed our stay this year as in the past. Love the huge kitchen as we designate a table just for game use that doesn’t have to been dismantled for mealtimes. The little children live the tiny pool and claim that it is exclusively just for their enjoyment. My husband hides out on the Masterbedroom deck and has read many of the books you have in the house. Everyone just loves it here!

This rental is absolutely stunning! It was the perfect place for our wedding and for our large family to relax. The beautiful Vilano beach is mere steps away. The house is beautifully decorated with an extremely well furnished kitchen. The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful. Everything about our experience far exceeded my expectations!

We had 18 folks staying for the weekend. Beach was amazing. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good, clean and up to date. Could have had more hot water. Simple fix to turn water heater temps up. Kitchen was large. Range is inadequate for cooking. It looks nice, but function is mediocre. Just not functioning properly but owner tried to get it right. For catering food for parties it is excellent. Living spaces were good. Furnishings could use a little updating. Would recommend staying here.

This home was one of three we rented for the week leading up to our daughters wedding. It was definitely the place everyone migrated to throughout the day because of the openness, plenty of seating and of course the beautiful view. We enjoyed cooking together everyday and even celebrated Thanksgiving as a family. Its a wonderful place and the hosts were very responsive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone capable or comfortable with stairs. No elevator and no bathroom on the top floor did present challenges for the older family members, but we managed just fine.

The perfect space for a special event and family vacation. We hosted our small wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. The space had everything we needed and views from the deck of the ocean were beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

I am happy to say that this property is exactly as advertised. This is a beautiful house with all the amenities you could want for your stay. It is the perfect location on Vilano Beach. The house is impeccably clean and welcoming when you enter the home. The management team was readily available via email if needed. But thankfully we did not need anything that was not already thought of by the team. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone that wants to have a hassle-free great vacation in a beautiful home on a beautiful beach. I will be back that is for sure.

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. A beautiful property, right on this ocean, beautifully appointed, and lovely to behold. We appreciated the flexibility of the hosts on a couple of special requests that we had, and the professionalism throughout our visit. We had eight women, so the eight bedrooms were perfect, and the upstairs kitchen and living area worked well for our needs. The downstairs room with pingpong table and plenty of room to hang out gave all of us the ability to share space and yet give each other plenty of space. And the walks on the beach, plus sunrise and sunset views, were the chef's kiss! We are so grateful we were able to book this place quickly after our other retreat location feel through at the last minute. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality and graciousness. We highly recommend.

We spent a week at this beautiful house, 11 of us gathering for a family reunion. There was plenty of room for everybody to do their thing, and very comfortable spaces for gathering. The access to the beach was perfect, and the kitchen was extremely well, equipped, allowing us to cook Meals without any difficulty. We enjoyed our week there tremendously, and would love to go back again.

Stayed there for 6 nights. With 17 family members from 2 to 74. The house was equipped with everything you needed feed and sleep all at the same time. We were never at a loss for things to do. Location was great for shopping and site seeing and of course the beach. Elite was responsive to the few minor problems and took care of them. The next get together would bring us back here with no hesitation.

Nice and spacious . 15 of us had more than enough room. Kitchens well supplied with all wares and dishes you could ever need. Clean upon arrival. Location is perfect. We had no issues with anything and all of us had a great stay. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed as the descriptions in the bookings are spot on.

My mother's side of the family have been vacationing together once a week for my entire 48 years of life. We have stayed in a lot of houses over the years. This is by far one of the better properties. It's a well thought out floor plan, 16 people in the house at one time does not feel crowded. The kitchen is designed to cook for and clean for that many people. The owner provides plenty of silverware, utensils and pot/pans. We had a great time here and have already booked the house again for next year.

We've been enjoying family beach trips for almost 20 years and this year's home was absolutely our family's favorite! It was said by several of us over and over during our week's stay, "This House is the Best Ever! "
Having the private bedrooms for each couple and additional ones for cousins to bunk in made it so comfortable for everyone. The top floor kitchen/dining/living space will live forever in all of our memories. We were blown away by our first site of this most amazing space. The enormous island, multiple dining tables, dishwashers, sinks and refrigerators, made our many family meals for 18 a breeze. The living space adjoining the kitchen area was so well designed and furnished comfortably for one or several conversations and relaxation. The multiple decks were perfect for morning coffee, cocktails at sunset or just people and kite watching. And on the ground floor, the kids especially loved the pool/pingpong table and shuffleboard game. The downstairs kitchen was so convenient for our night time grilling on the shaded patio while kids cooled their sunned soaked bodies in the pool.
We especially appreciated the many beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, canopy and beach boards there for us to make use of.
The beach itself is so close and convenient to the house. It was easy to take short breaks back to the house for a snack and then hit the sand again. The Publix was well stocked and within a just a couple of miles. We knew little about San Augustin before last week, but now can heartily recommend exploring this gem of history and culture.
I may have forgotten other great details, but I can say without hesitation that it was a 5 star experience to stay in this home.

All around great set up. Close to perfect for us.
We had a large group of family and friends. Top floor is very well equipped for preparing meals for large groups. We had 23 people for Easter Dinner. Tons of room. That floor is apx 2100 sq/ft of openness.
Top floor was a great area for everyone to hangout. Playing cards etc. Views are incredible.
2nd floor. All the bedrooms were comfortable as the bathrooms were also. Tons of hot water for such a large group.
1st floor. Pool table n ping pong table were a nice touch. Kitchen area was nice.
Great location on the beach. Pretty quiet. Easy beach walk to a few eateries.
Publix was a couple minutes by car. A few shops in that area also.
Hopefully we’ll be going back in a couple years.

We had an extended family vacation that included four families. The organization of the house was absolutely fabulous. The top floor was the gathering spot for meals and relaxing and the first floor was a great gathering spot for shooting pool and in/out from the beach. The first floor kitchen was great for storing extra drinks/food when we were on the beach. The bedrooms, all located on the second floor, with the hall baths were great for getting everyone moving in the morning. We also took a few days to tour St. Augustine and drop into a few of the many pubs while shopping. Great vacation spot! Absolutely beautiful property and beach!

Don't question staying at this house just book it--you will not regret it. What a spectacular house and the views from the first and second floor balconies/decks are the best. The property manager/owner was very responsive anytime we had a question. Also, if you love to cook this is the house for you. The third floor kitchen has everything you could need to whip up a gourmet meal even if you are not a gourmet chef. We loved our stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for the week. The enormous common area upstairs made spending time with all the family easy and comfortable. We liked the decor and furniture, and the beachfront location right over the bridge in Vilano Beach cannot be beat. The only downsides related to the kitchen. The AGA range was in need of maintenance; the larger burners did not work properly and we could only get one oven to warm up, the “main” oven. The convection fan did not run, and we did not think it ever reached cooking temperature so we were grateful for the second Whirlpool oven next to it, which worked beautifully. There was an abundance of refrigerators, though someone had left a tray of paint with a dirty roller in the refrigerator in the downstairs kitchen, so we did not use that refrigerator. Otherwise a perfect place for the family, and the kids really loved the pool, too!! WiFi was fine, and though only the bar area television had true cable, we were able to use a Hulu login for the other common area television so that was not a problem. We would definitely rent again, hoping that the kitchen gets some TLC. Thank you!!

Shannon and her husband were awesome hosts. The house is beautiful with a wonderful floor plan. Would definitely recommend this home for large family gatherings. Be prepared for stairs. It's 3 levels. It was worth every step.

Where to begin? We go to the St Augustine area every year, for our family Beach Week. This year was our first time staying in Vilano Beach. We were thrilled to find a home large enough for our clan (18), on the beach, and within our budget! Over the past year the owners added a large hot tub/pool making this an ideal location and property.
The property was very clean and the owners had an abundance of items we normally have to supply like TP, dishwasher soap, bath soap and shampoo, etc. Additionally, there were plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, and other serving pieces for a large group. All the beds were comfortable, the linens good, and we had bath linens enough for everyone.
There were two major issues for our stay however. First, the large stove/ovens on the main living level (3rd floor), did not work! That required going from the first (ground) floor stove all the way up three flights to bring warm, cooked food to our dinner table. The first night was not a problem as I had already cooked the chicken and only needed to warm it up and put sauce on it. But cooking the rest of the meal, and in fact for the rest of the week, was not so easy. While Shannon was very easy to contact and her response was almost instantaneous, we still went all week running up and down stairs as the stove only had two burners and the broiler that worked. Her husband come over Sunday and tried to figure out what was wrong with it to no avail.
Our second issue was with the main door lock, as we had problems with it not opening! Again, Shannon and Stephen were immediately responsive and replaced the door latch on Sunday.
Homes that can accommodate large groups over 15 are hard to find, but even if they were abundant, we would still consider renting this home again. Our kids and grandkids loved it and thought it was our best week ever! Kudos for a well-appointed house Shannon and Stephen! (Just need a new stove inside and maybe a different setup on the deck.) Still, all things considered, this was a great home!

The property was RIGHT ON THE BEACH! The home was clean and spacious for all 11 of us. Shannon was very easy to contact and responsive. The property was so tidy and clean. We will be back!!

This vacation home is truly special. The first floor has everything you need for a great day coming and going to the beach, cooking out, making lunch, shooting pool or playing ping pong, or just sitting to read in the early daylight hours. I must mention at this point that the beach is close and there is pool to cool off in before you come into the house. Also, the beach at this point in Villano gets very wide at low tide, much like the prized beaches in St. Augustine, Butler, and Crescent beach further south but with far less people and no vehicular traffic. The second floor is your own private hotel with a master bedroom that includes a balcony and large tub with a beach view. In addition the luxurious master there is a second large bedroom on the other end and 6 very well appointed bedrooms in between for a total of 8. The third floor is incredible! The third floor is completely open with windows in every direction that provide unobstructed views in every direction. There are porches on the beach and highway sides and a full kitchen with a bar across the way. Between the bar, counter, and tables there is seating for almost 40 people comfortably and multiple TVs so everyone can happily keep up with their shows, console gaming, or sports. If you have a large family and want to be together but separate when necesary this is the home for your vacation.

Wonderful house! Well decorated, very clean. Location is perfect! Fully equipped kitchen was great. Downside, the main oven is challenging to operate and is too small for the amount of people the house accommodates. We basically went up and down 3 flights to use the lower level oven whenever needed.
