About this cottage rental
Harbour View is a spacious Victorian townhouse, perfectly positioned on the sea wall with uninterrupted views of the waves. Connect with the elements as nothing separates you from the sea and all its incredible beauty.. Ground Floor:

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV, (Ensuite Also Accessed From Hallway) Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Front garden with sitting-out area. Private parking for 1 car, additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: Sorry, no stag or hen parties. . The house has an air of past grandeur, stepping inside you have the traditional entrance hallway with high ceilings, and stained glass embellishing the windows. There are two living rooms, both with sea views from the tall sash windows. The kitchen is towards the rear, as well as the dining room and utility room. There is also a small playroom, with another small TV, where young children can tuck themselves away. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a double bedroom with sea views and en-suite bathroom, with a shower over the bath, which can also be accessed via the hallway. There is also two queen bedrooms, and a family bedroom with a double and a single bed and those incredible sea views. Sleeping nine guests in total, this is a well-equipped house perfect for family or friends, with plenty of space to socialise together.
At the front of the property you are only a stone’s throw from the sea, this bay is popular on calm days with paddleboarders, as well as being a fun spot to bodyboard when there are waves. From the house take a stroll along the 1½ mile promenade and follow the signposted history trail or make your way to the marina which is surrounded by a mix of bistros, bars, cafes and restaurants. There are many wonderful attractions nearby, including Saltholme RSPB Reserve where rich bird life and seals can be spotted, the National Glass Centre at Sunderland for a day out with a difference, as well as Summerhill nature reserve and outdoor play centre. The National Museum of the Royal Navy in Hartlepool’s Harbour is a must. For the more active, the National Cycle Network Route 14 can be found in the local town and takes you all the way to Seaham, while the North York Moors National Park is well-worth venturing to. As this is such a huge historical property it is gradually being restored to its former glory in stages, you are staying in a little slice of Hartlepool’s past. Beach 160 yards.
