This was in a nice area. Beautiful lakeside views even from our master bedroom of the lake. The house itself was pretty outdated and could use some updating. There was no toaster. We also found spiderwebs in the kitchen over the window. I had some issues with the dishwasher. Also there was no trash bags left.. So we had to purchase our own. The jacuzzi didn't work correctly and it made a loud noise in the kids room every time I tried to use it. So I guess there was some plumbing issues. On a positive note. The owners was very helpful whenever I called. We had a good time nevertheless. Outdoor by the lake was very entertaining and we caught a fish. So cool!! This
was a nice area for us to be in for our Labor day holiday weekend which was enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay. The game room games were well used as were the kayaks. Enjoyed the outdoor deck and fire pit. Living area was very comfortable.

Kids and husband enjoyed fishing from the dock/deck. Great place to sit out in the evening. Issues with house that needed attention were conveyed to the owner but didn’t stop us from enjoying the time outdoors.

The property is perfect for our needs. Looking forward to our third, fourth, fifth . . . . visits. Thanks for everything!

This rental proved to be a great backdrop for a low key, relaxing Father’s Day weekend with our infant and grandparents. While there were shared amenities like pools and playgrounds, we found no reason to leave the back deck & dock. The house is older, but authentically rustic - and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are very clean. The rest of the house is worn and the neighbors are close, but I viewed it upscale from camping; the lakeviews were certainly luxurious. We took out one of the kayaks, but if you want to use it heavily, i’d advise renting one nearby or using the canoe instead. The rental process & checkin was seamless.
All said and done, we had the weekend we craved. You simply cannot beat a late afternoon drink on the deck.

Did I mention the fabulous location of this property? Right on the lake with beautiful views from the entire back of the house and outside decks. Although we didn’t use the kayaks or pedal boat, anyone with a family would certainly enjoy going out on the lake in them. The house was quaint and although a little rough around the edges, it had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. We loved seeing the deer walk down the road and into the yard. Sitting by the fire pit with the lake just feet away was great! Best part was meeting the hosts and seeing how much they care that their guests have the best time. We could not have asked for better hosts. Thank you Ron and Develba for a lovely long weekend! Jill loved it, too!

Stayed in this particular property for a week in July for a family reunion. Myself family and my sister's family stayed in this house and my brother's family and parents stayed in the property next door. We moved freely between the two houses through the week. In this particular property were 10 of us (4 adults and 10 kids). The space was sufficient with enough sleeping space. We wished that there was a window AC unit in the bunk room as it was very hot for the kids even with a fan. By the second day we noticed more and more creepy crawlies around the kitchen in the evening and overnight and ended up spraying and cleaning to mitigate the issue. A few of the windows had problems and could not open and we ended up with a few scraped toes on the cinder blocks holding up the bed frame in the downstairs bedroom. The garage was unusable due to the musty smell and the chewed up bottom of the garage door. We also had to take care of the previous renter's trash on the street that had been left out and attracted the attention of insects and rodents.
Aside from the above, we spent most of the time outdoors enjoying the multiple docks, kayaks, canoes, and swimming. The kids spent full days in the water. Would consider staying in the future.

Loved "waking at the lake", whether the weather was damp and chilly or more late spring-like. The kids' most enjoyable aspect of the trip was being able to spend quality time (post quarantine??) with us doing stuff we normally don't do. The fire pit was a perfect way to end our days, with just the right mix of off-site and on-site activities, including hikes (national park less than 4 miles away), motor boat rental and knee boarding (25 minutes away, suggest you book DURING the week like we did!), tour a live coal mine, paint ball targeting, and so on. Did I mention fishing on the dock is a wonderful way to re-center? Thank you so much, Ron, for sharing your lake and your home with us!

Our time spent in the home was amazing! The beds were comfy, but most of all the outdoor accommodations were the best!
Our only dilemma was when the temperature hit 90 the 1 air conditioner even at night wasn't enough for all 3bedrooms.
The check in was easy but we got our welcome letter late.(no code to get in) In the past we received the welcome letter the day before. But Ron was just a text or phone call away!!

We enjoyed the house and views of the lake. House was clean but unfortunately we saw what looked like a roach in between the microwave glass so we couldn't kill it. Also the downstairs full bedroom, the bed frame was loose and uncomfortable. Thought the house was fully air conditioned but only one upstairs in bedroom. But overall had a good time and enjoyed the property greatly!

Wonderful location. Great sunsets, and sunrises and peaceful lake. We enjoyed the property and walking the neighborhood to see all of the deer. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking for the family. Close to Tobyhanna for fun family hikes.

We had a wonderful time at the Bello Chalet. The property was comfortable, all amenities were included and it was an easy and convenient location. John and Ada were available for our questions and needs. Thank you for a great time. Our kids loved it!

We really enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake. It was great that boats and life jackets were provided!

The 2 large dock areas are great for relaxing, viewing wildlife and fishing. There is a shade tree near the dock so you are not exposed to the sun all day. The 4 grandkids loved the canoe and kayaks. Great place to stay if kids like to fish and grand parents want to relax. We saw a beaver, eagle and heron. Deer and ducks were also regular visitors.

Our family of ten had a fantastic stay at the lake. It was a bit of a rough start at the guard house when there was some confusion about our daughters who were driving separately, arrived and were not easily let through, even though my wife and I had no trouble 10 minutes earlier upon arriving, identifying ourselves and getting in. From there everything was beautiful, enjoyable, and wonderful. Taught some of my grandchildren to fish for the first time. Also, enjoyed kayaks so much that soon after we went home we bought kayaks for ourselves to enjoy. Neighbors were very neighborly. Thanks for the memories.

Wonderful experience. Perfect for us and our 6 and 10 year old. Felt no need to leave the premises. Kids were plenty occupied and we relaxed in front of the lake. We did not want to leave.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Its right on the lake so we could enjoy the water. The property has kayaks, and various other boats as well as a couple large decks to fish off of or just sit and relax. We planned on visiting some of the local attractions but ended up not really leaving the house.
You can enjoy the deer that come to visit in the morning and the groundhog that lives under the rocks out back. The ducks in the lake stop by when you are out on the dock.
The house is comfortable with plenty of room and the kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils that you would need. There is an outdoor grill, with propane supplied and this is where we did most of our cooking.
There is a really good Spanish restaurant in town, Mi Casa. Its a bit hidden but the food was great. We also went Mt Airy lodge (disgusting and smoky smelling) to eat at Guy Fieri's Pocono Kitchen. Service was terrible, and it wasn't busy, and the food was just ok.
This house and location is a great choice! Have fun.

The house was nicely situated on the lot. The walkway to the docks was well thought out and handy to not worry about slipping and falling or being on uneven ground.
Neighborhood was quiet and loaded with wildlife. Plenty if dock space was enjoyable from morning coffee to sun set. Then we moved into the fire pit area. The site layout was very maneuverable, easy access to water for launching kayaks. We had a very enjoyable stay,

We really enjoyed our time at the property. Check in process was easy and we appreciated having Ada give us a quick tour. The house fit our family of 8 just fine. Fishing, boating, hanging out on the dock, & fire pit were the highlights. Description and pictures were accurate.
