We stayed here to visit a couple colleges for our daughter. It was clean and had everything we needed. Perfect for what we needed.

We had a lovely stay! We were in town for a concert at Red Rocks, and we took a day to go to Rocky Mountain NP. The home was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

If you love horses you will love this place. It’s like living on a ranch so not the cleanest place. Make sure your food is kept in the refrigerator as we also encountered mice. If you are using the upstairs beds, it’s very hot and takes a while to cool down.

Great stay, very comfortable beds. Within 15-20 mins of everything in our itinerary and we got to wake up with the horses just a fence away.

Had a great week long stay at the house. Was a great location for getting out of the city and into the mountains. House is located in slightly rural setting with stables and horses close by. Owners were very receptive and great on communications.
Had a great trip and will look at using the house again on our next trip!!

We are overall had a good time. The house seemed clean upon arrival however pests and weird noises occurred during the stay. The host did listen to our concerns and made some changes and small refund after our stay.
We appreciate the location next to the farm! We thought the beanbag chair, other furniture and decor made it homey and quaint.
We really like it's rural feel and the canal walk in the back.
Our concerns came down to some weird plumbing noises, and pests.
- the plumbing made a weird gurgling noise at odd intervals making it hard to sleep
- we spotted mouse droppings and a live mouse, had spider babies on the sheets, a cricket in the bed and flies and moths. The flies and moths were expected as it is close to a farm. However the other critters were unwelcome guests.
The other thing to know is the AC is run by a mini split downstairs and a wall unit upstairs. These units do not necessarily cool the entire space efficiently, however there are fans to help with the airflow. The upstairs does get very warm during the day. But we were out enjoying CO most of the day so not a huge deal.
The location was nice and the home felt cozy but pest issues and weird sounds made for a stay that wasn't the best. The host did assure me that they would take care of the issues (a recent review confirms they did) and the host also gave me a small refund for our trouble.

It was nice and everything that could be needed was provided. It had the country vibe we hoped it would be. We all love horses so having them nextdoor was cool even though we weren't able to pet them when they came to the fence to check things out.
The upstairs got really hot through the day so the kids couldn't go up there through the day but cooled down nicely in the evening.
Only thing I didn't like was going in and out of the driveway between the trees and the shed but it was worth it for all the privacy. Overall it was a very nice place to stay. Centrally located to where we needed to be and we would stay there again!!
TI didn't like was between the upstairbuilding

The host was a good communicator; however, the house and the yard were in very poor condition. The cushions on the outside chairs were torn, filthy and moldy. The house had a funny smell and when we returned from a concert out second night, two large rodents scurried across the living room floor. We grabbed our belongings and left immediately. The host refunded our money for part of our stay. This was my first experience with VRBO and I doubt I'll ever use it again.

Perfect place to stay for a red rocks concert especially for a large group like us. Lots of sleeping options. Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed four nights and could have easily stayed longer. The house was cozy and it was a nice experience having horses in the yard. The people we met on or near to the property were very friendly. We were visiting relatives in nearby towns but as a home base we couldn''t have asked for a lovlier place to stay.

This place was great! Private cozy house on a fairly busy property. Alot of room for the size of the house. Was nice having two full size bathrooms. The Beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. Nate was very responsibe and easy to communicate with. Only downside to this place is there are no blinds or curtains on most of the windows on the first floor. We felt like anyone could be looking in at any point especially with several other houses on the same property especially the house next door which shares the same backyard. Overall great place and would stay again.

Nathan is a great host. The home is clean & comfortable with all of the small touches that make a big difference. The beds are comfortable. The location is private & quiet. The book collection was a bonus!
The home was affordable & accommodated my larger family well but there were a few things that could be better. It pains me to be critical. We ate in most of the week & generated a good bit of trash. I felt bad to leave a full can but there weren’t directions for how to handle trash pick-up. Hopefully critters didn’t get into it. The dishwasher seems not to work. Dishes used had to be hand washed beforehand. The dishes in the cabinet were visibly dirty. The door to the bathroom under the stairs sticks hard. If you were alone you might think you were trapped. We had to rescue several times. The trick is turning the knob to the left & using more force than seems reasonable. There are horses which means there are flies. There are open areas where they can freely come in. I live in an agricultural area & so flies come with the territory, I know, but holes can be sealed. Lastly, when the washing machine runs or someone takes a shower the house smells of sewer. This is the worst of it. Those things getting fixed would make all the difference!! Our 2nd leg of the trip was at a rental in South Dakota & my husband said, “It feels good not to smell sewage anymore.”

This was a lovely home outside the city limits but close to everything. The house was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the home had plenty of spaces for hanging out. The hosts have a wonderful library of books, large screen TV and comfy living room furniture. We look forward to visiting again!

Cute home located near all major highways etc. when we first checked in it was very hot, but we were able to message the property manager and he was quick to respond and was able to turn on the air to get it cooler in there. We did buy some fans as well which helped a lot! Overall we had a good stay, a few updates like curtains, maybe a new couch would really elevate the experience there.
The road to the property is a little tight, but finding the location was easy! Overall good experience with Nate! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

The home was older, but very clean and had updated bathrooms and was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. Lots of room. Loved that it had two bathrooms and lots of table surface.
The location was awesome for what we needed since we were visiting, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Denver Museums, Estes Park, RMNP and Idaho Springs.
Note: There are glass blocks in one of the bathroom windows. I didn't realize...but you can see into the bathroom from the outside...we covered with a towel while we were there. I have already suggested to owner it needs curtains...
There were a lot of small flies in the bathrooms showers when we first got there, but they gradually went away after a day or two. It is between two horse lots. My girls loved watching the horses bunnies and other animals.
We had a bit of trouble with the Swamp cooler (our fault) since we had never used one before. It kept the upstairs cool and the rest of the house mostly bearable. The downstairs bedroom was rather warm one of the nights...however the week we stayed was mid August, the hottest part of the year....We found out when we were leaving that we had the SWAMP cooler on low the whole time...so our fault.
We did have one other issue pop up while we were there but the host/owner was very responsive.
We would stay there again.

Colorado is an amazing place to visit! This home gave us great access to all we wanted to do. Comfy beds and easy to use kichen. Never used a swamp cooler before so our stuff always felt damp??? Maybe add scissors to kitchen utensils and a hair dryer to bathroom.
Thanks for the use of the home.

There were 5 of us. There was more then enough for us. It was an easy drive from Denver Airport.
It was very comfortable. Nate the property manager was quick to reply to all of my texts. We plan on another trip next summer and we will stay at "The Farmhouse". I highly recommend the Farmhouse

We had an extended stay at the farmhouse, and it was everything we could’ve hoped for. Nathan had wonderful communication and was on top of all questions and request promptly. The home at itself was adorable, cozy, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the fenced in front yard and beautiful light in the dinning room for morning meals. The area is secluded, which we LOVED, but also just a short five minute drive to everything we needed - grocery, shopping, local events and activities, etc. We look forward to staying again anytime we are in the area. I would highly recommend the farmhouse for anyone who is looking for a getaway on a beautiful farm when traveling to the Denver/Boulder area . Thanks so much to our hosts for a wonderful experience!
