Looking for luxury? This apartment in the coastal town of Tynemouth is the picture of lavish elegance. With so much room, you won't believe this whole apartment is just for the two of you. Not only is the home decorated beautifully, but it's also in the heart of the town, just a short walk away from the sandy beach. The living room has the feel of a grand hall – statue busts, twinkling chandeliers, prestigious artwork, and a rich mahogany dining table exude opulence. You'll love spending evenings here, the gas-burning stove warming you up from the inside out, while you sip on good wine and enjoy the lighthearted conversation. Not only does the kitchen look wonderful, but the top-notch appliances will convince even the most reluctant of chefs to rustle up something, even just once. Mornings here are particularly lovely with the early light pouring in through the large windows, while you enjoy a hearty breakfast around the farmhouse-style kitchen table. When you want to explore, you're steps away from the town's independent cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, and more. Take morning walks around the Victorian boating lake with a coffee in hand, before enjoying a lunch of fish and chips along the sandy beach. Then, take a stroll along the promenade, popping into a pub for a nice afternoon pint. Home truths: *Your host can provide an on-street parking permit if you plan on driving *There's a free-standing bathtub in the main bedroom – while it's excellent for long soaks, it's not the most private *The home is set across several floors *There are four steps leading down to the bathroom – they can be tricky to navigate in the dark as they don't have a railing *Tynemouth Metro Station is directly opposite the home – it has frequent routes to South Shields and Newcastle *There are also several bus stops in town with routes to Newcastle, North Shields, Jesmond, and more *You'll have your own private entrance here *Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
