Aside from dead batteries in the remote on our first evening, and our room being infested with mosquitos … it was very clean!

Lots of pros: Great location with easy walking distance to everything. Roku remote to access personal streaming accounts. Water pressure and temps were amazing. HUGE tub. Fabulous ammenities/toiletries. Bathroom lighting is superb and allowed me to find blemishes and chin hairs I was previously unaware of.
Might have been nice to knows: Didn't hear jets in tub weren't working until supplied with check in code. (That was the reason my husband wanted that room.) Steps are narrow and fairly small... I would have been better off with two smaller bags instead of trying to maneuver my huge suitcase. Sleep on the left of the bed... a sliver of a street light and morning sun hit the ride-side sleeper.
Tiny improvement suggestions: Make entrance a bit more obvious. Everything for a delicious cup of coffee is provided... except coffee filters. Fan and AC unit need dusting. Provide a chin hair tweezer. :)

Eerie Suite in Bayfield Guest House is a nicely appointed, tastefully decorated room in what is obviously a well preserved historic building in quaint and unique Bayfield. We would probably stay there again. But there were a couple things that we didn't like. First, calling it a suite is misleading and wrong. It is a bedroom and a bathroom. It's not a suite - it is a hotel room - a small hotel room. There is a bed, a small desk, and two rather uncomfortable chairs. There is also a jacuzzi. We found a note in the room upon checking in that the jets on the jacuzzi were not functioning. Unlike other VRBO rentals that we've stayed in, there was no kitchen, but there was a note that we were expected to clean cups and glasses we used or pay extra - our only option was to wash them in the bathroom sink. The dish-washing instructions mandated 110-120 degree water, but we had no way to measure the temperature. It also dictated sanitizing with a bleach solution. This was not provided. Perhaps, since this is a hotel room, management should be cleaning glassware as other hotels do.

This was our first trip to Bayfield, so a bit unsure about the geography. Happy to find this place was within walking distance of shops and restaurants and close to the pier as well. Very clean and well maintained.
