This property was comfortable and provided everything we could want. It was walking distance to stores and restaurants. The room was very clean and the bathroom included shampoo, conditioner and body wash nice touch.

We stayed in the Bobcat! We stayed 3 nights. Only negative was possibly needing an extra set of towels.

Loved our stay at the bucking moose! It was close to everything in town and was very clean. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to West Yellowstone!

We thought we were renting a cabin, so we were a little surprised that it was actually a motel room. It was fine, however, it was showing its age.

This stay worked perfect for accessing and touring Yellowstone. Also the 1950 western ambiance provided a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Hats off to the owner’s cleverness! We will be back.

It was a quick stop in town, 2 nights. Exactly what we needed, where we needed it. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a clean place to stay right next to Yellowstone (literally 5 min away) then this is the place for you. If you want something with lots of amenities, and lots of space, you may want to look elswhere.
Pros:
-Clean
-Easy to get to
-Close to park, restaurants, gas, and shopping
-Easy check in/check out
Cons:
-Small
-Limited storage
-Limited parking
-Thin walls
-Firm mattress
Decent place to wind down after a day at the park. For context, we were there the last week of October.
Room:
Small motel style room (bed, small fridge, microwave, desk, chair, and a couple bedside tables). It was me and my husband, with two full size suitcases and a couple backpacks, and it was tight. Room stayed nice and warm even with the cold temperatures outside. Unfortunately, the only place to hang up jackets was all the way in the back of the room, which sucked when you walked in from the snow. No real good place to take off wet shoes, so the area by the door got full of snow and leaves no matter how much you kicked stuff of your soles before entering. I would think the room would be great in the summer, but it was a little difficult in the winter.
The bathroom is small and COLD. I understand it was winter, and it was around 30° outside, but the bathroom could use a heater vent, or better insulation. It was frigid in there in the mornings.
Overall, it got the job done. We were rested in the mornings, ready for another busy day at the park... and we didn't pay $300 for a room in the other nearby hotels.

This unit was tiny, but worked well for those looking to have a place to sleep and shower. The bathroom appeared to be recently updated. Overall the unit was clean and suited our needs.

Location was excellent. Room was very small with few amenities. Paper thin walls as we had to listen to our neighbours each nite.

My husband and I stayed here while in Yellowstone on part of my 50th Birthday Trip from Glacier to Jackson. The 1 bedroom unit is small, but was very clean, cute and comfortable; we had all we needed for the 3 days there and the location was perfect - close to everything in W. Yellowstone including the W. entrance to the park. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a little issue checking in ... instructions were not real clear. Once in, we were fine. The room is a bit small. Not a lot of space to store clothes, etc. However, it was very clean, comfortable and in a good location.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean, comfortable, & decorated nicely. Exactly as described & in the heart of W Yellowstone. Would definitely stay again.

Overall it was a great place to stay! Pretty clean! The parking situation could have been a little bit better. If you have a larger vehicle make sure you’re back early to get a good spot you can get in to or there is an empty lot behind everything. Location was great! We walked just about anywhere! Minutes from the entrance of the park!

Hawkeye was a great, easy company to deal with. I had to call for one question and they called me back within five minutes and answered all my questions and more! Thankful for the customer service.
The room was exactly as described!

The property had just the feel we were looking for in a Yellowstone rental and it is super convenient to town and all the amenities. Great stay!

Cabin is just as described. Very clean and comfortable. Has an issue getting in but was able to contact owners ASAP and they were very helpful! Love the location- close enough to walk to downtown but quiet. We enjoyed being able to sit outside at night at the tables. If you like BBQ, don’t miss Firehole BBQ- it is worth the wait if there’s a line. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends !

Great location and check-in/out was so easy!
4.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed our stay at this place as well as the proximity to downtown. The only somewhat negative was that the deadbolt on the door did not work. Other than that we had a great time and would stay again.
3.0 / 10.0
Probably would not stay here again. There were no TV channels, not even local channels. The coffee service had wrong bags for the coffee maker and a bag of coffee grounds with no filters. Fairly expensive for just a bed and shower but is the peak season. We did find some very good restaurants near the room.
3.0 / 10.0
Small, clean, and convenient location. Overall very good EXCEPT the wifi service nor the ice machine were working. When we contacted the property manager she said it would be fixed the next day (we stayed three days) but never was. Other than those issues, the place was great.
5.0 / 10.0
Convenient location with a comfy bed, AC, mini fridge, and microwave. I loved that the bathroom had soap/shampoo!
3.0 / 10.0
We really enjoyed the location of this cabin. We were able to walk to all major shops and restaurants in West Yellowstone. We were also just a few minutes drive away from the entrance to the park which was nice. Having a TV but with nothing to watch on it was a little strange. You might be able to bring a portable DVD player, but they do not offer cable.
3.0 / 10.0
Not worth the price. You’re basically just renting a room with a bed. There was a tv, but no remote so you couldn’t sign in to anything like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon. There was a “direct tv” remote, but no direct tv box. When I called to ask about this I was told someone would call me back. No one ever called back. I called again and spoke to a man, who was very rude and unhelpful. I did run into the housekeeper who was VERY NICE! And tried to help the best he could. Again, I wouldn’t stay here and would never recommend this place.

The room was clean and looked just like the pic. Tv did not connect to any cable and I was text before we arrived. I would book here again. It is right in town and you can park in front of your room. Next time I would like a kitchenette or the townhouse.
3.0 / 10.0
The TV didn’t work the entire time we were there (not just us, the entire complex). Very small and not sure why a ceiling fan isn’t installed when there is no AC. Space could be better organized (could use a built in to utilize space better). Overall just OK.
