About this house rental
Relax in this modern city home that's walkable to many fun activities! This 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home is well stocked for your next visit to Lancaster. It was intentionally designed for comfort while not sacrificing a modern, clean aesthetic! Fun fact: the log cabin that's a few home's down on the same block is the city's oldest home that was built in the 1700's. Enjoy a cup of coffee outside on the patio in the private, fenced in yard. The backyard is an oasis to enjoy the beautiful weather and hear the "buzz" of the city. Bring one (or two!) complimentary games outside to play with friends and family.
Cook a meal in the brand new full size kitchen. Brand new kitchen appliances are available for guests to enjoy including a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, dishes, flatware, cups, wine glasses, wine opener, etc. There is seating for six at the large kitchen island.
Love coffee? We provide guests with two coffee makers including a drip coffee maker and a Keurig-style coffee maker. Complimentary coffee pods, creamer pods, tea and coffee filters are provided.
After a long day, enjoy a shower in the bathrooms with contemporary marble tile and fixtures. Both bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers, towels and washcloths, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. An iron/ironing board and collapsible travel crib are also available for guests to use.
Guests have full control of the smart thermostat to enjoy heat/AC to their preferred taste, and complimentary laundry soap is available so that you don't have to take home dirty laundry =)
The living room is equipped with comfy lounge furniture and contemporary decor. A smart TV is available for guests in addition to a collection of games including Scattergories, and more. Take a game out to the backyard patio and play with your friends after a long day exploring Lancaster. It's one of our favorite things to do!
There are three bedrooms/sleeping areas in this home:
1) King bedroom (sleeps two)
2) Queen bedroom (sleeps two)
3) Kid's room with a Twin trundle bedroom w/ twin beneath it (sleeps two)
4) A living room sectional sofa (sleeps two)
*** Please note: the living room sofa isn't a futon or pull-out sofa bed (just a heads up!) and is best suited for kids who don't mind sleeping directly on the top of the sofa cushions. We provide pillows, quilts, and sheet sets for all beds including the living room sofa sleepers.
This home is a city home and due to the nature of the location, guests may hear city noises from time to time. We include a sound machine in each bedroom if you are a light sleeper. Free street parking is available outside of the home and there isn't a dedicated driveway for your car. Street parking is first come, first serve which is typical for this area. The good news is that it

Was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with this beautiful home - recently. Very modern home and great layout. The owner was very easy to reach and very accommodating - would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again.
Thank you, Krista.

This newly renovated home was the perfect mix of modern style and comfort. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning in the well appointed kitchen. There is plenty of pantry space for a weeks worth of groceries. The sectional sofa was very comfortable watching tv or just relaxing.
Krista was an excellent host. She responded quickly to all of my emails. She also has great information in a notebook about the house and local shops and restaurants.
A great place for a relaxing vacation!

Great communication with owner and no issues with check in/out. Parking can be tricky as the roads are narrow. The home itself was the perfect size, it was a cute space and it was very clean!

The house is ideal for small groups. Around 4 or fewer. It is super modern inside with all the amenities needed for short or medium stays. The neighborhood is urban and crowded but the access to downtown Lancaster is great. Parking can be an issue if driving more than one car.

This house was great! Well-appointed, clean and comfortable and really convenient to everything in Lancaster. Parking seemed like it could be tight, but it was fine - always found a spot within a block of the house. The owner was super communicative and flexible and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was just as described! We appreciated the ease of check in and the cleanliness of the home. The lack of parking (which was accurately described in the listing) was our only bummer. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the bright, welcoming and cleanliness of the home. We thoroughly enjoyed how close it was, too so many things like coffee, shops, the park, restaurants, and convenience stores. It was exactly what we were looking for and more.

Everything was amazing and clean. We all had a great time and will be back

Overall the home was nicely remodeled and fairly clean. There was some mildew in the upstairs shower and the pots and pans were not clean and were old and worn. The small upstairs “bedroom“ is not suitable for adults with the low, slanted ceiling. The fan in the larger upstairs bedroom was missing a paddle and was unusable. Other than those small things the beds and pillows were comfy, linens and towels nice and clean.

Great place with all the amenities of home away from home. The entire house looked brand new and very clean. We were there for a business trip and convention so the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the Convention Center and Lancaster's downtown shops, nightlife, and great restaurants. We hope to stay again soon.

I’d like to start off by saying that we were surprised at the location of this, it being in the city we thought at first it would be very noisy and dumpy, but the house itself is beautifully renovated and clean and lovely to stay in. Parking we thought would be a big issue, but we always seem to find a place within very close walking distance for the week. It was very centrally located to the central market, and. The Sight and sound theater, which is a definite must to see if you’re in the area. Also, the Turkey hill experience was great especially if you have kids, we enjoyed it as adults. Would definitely love to come back at another time.

We had a really fun visit to Dutch Wonderland this past weekend. The property was about 12 min from Dutch Wonderland. The property was very clean, everything was updated, and there was plenty of space for two families with 3 children total. The kids enjoyed the blocks that were provided, and the kid's tent upstairs was a nice touch too!
Our only critique of the property was the location. We walked to get brunch one morning and felt the initial part of the walk was sketchy, so we wouldn't feel comfortable walking at night. Overall, we had a great visit!

Lovely beautifully renovated brick row house. Super Nice on the Inside, comfortable, clean, well appointed.
Really close to Franklin & Marshall.
Wish there was some kind of assigned parking.

The house was super clean and beautiful as pictured. We have never been to Lancaster before so weren’t sure of what to expect. We walked about 20 minutes to dinner which was nice to walk but there was a lot of trash in the neighborhood right outside the house and it was smelly. The parking wasn’t great… we did get a spot in the front the first day we arrived but had to park a block away the next day. When we first got there it was cool downstairs but the upstairs was super humid and hot so we are dreading how we might sleep but we turned the air down as cold as it would go and shut the vents downstairs and it ended up not being so bad. We had 6 people (my husband and I, my high schooler and my 6’ 3 college aged son along with my parents) and the 3rd room was not ideal for adult sized people with the little beds and low ceiling but would have been great for small kids. The living room was an option to sleep but with early risers we wanted a place to hang in the mornings if the kids slept in. We did cook a meal there and were able to make due with the pots and cooking utensils provided with some modifications. The best part was everything was clean and I loved the way the host decorated everything. She was also responsive toward texts and seemed to be very attentive.

Overall the location is great! The house is very nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable and the property owner is very responsive. Parking is street parking so as others have said that can be tricky to find something close. Street noise was a bit of an issue until about 9pm/10pm each night which was when the city had their noise ordinance laws kick in. The only issue we had was that it got pretty warm upstairs even with the A/C running. I can sleep with a fan and running that helped but my husband cannot sleep with a fan on so he ended up sleeping downstairs. Overall we were really pleased with this property.

Really cute remodel of an older home in city-center neighborhood. Two full bathrooms and lovely bedrooms with great kitchen and comfy living area. This was just a 5 minute walk to the convention center (go straight down Christian Street). We loved having privacy with separate bedrooms. The new appliances were great. Parking is a little tricky, just watch out for street cleaning days (Thursday and Wednesday) and overnight permit areas. Neighbors were friendly and helpful.

Very happy all around with my visit.

Conveniently located to the convention center. Beautiful kitchen that was pretty well equipped (though I admit I didn't try to cook anything). Back yard area was lovely. Parking was the only drawback, but ultimately wasn't too bad.

We really had a nice comfortable visit to Lancaster for volleyball tournament. The house proved to be a great homebase for us. The house is spacious and very clean! Do note that there is no cable, so you must bring a rocky or have apps like peacock or paramount plus to watch tv or sports. We look forward to staying with them again!
