One of the nicest places I've stayed in. Loads of safe and free parking. Very nice neighbourhood. Close to a few shops and restaurants. Free bus that takes you into the city centre is only a few minutes walk away. Hosts were excellent with communication. Everything was easy to understand and they couldn't be more helpful. As for the apartment itself. Fantastic. Clean, tidy, cosy and warm. All mod cons with a fantastically comfortable bed. Nice big TV with all the content you need. Don't hesitate to stay here, especially if you're driving.
Nothing. Absolutely perfect. If I ever return to Richmond I'll be looking for this place again.

Super cute place. Clean and conveniently located. Well appointed with everything we needed.

Lovely locations with a host that was very easy to get in touch with. The location was excellent for seeing much of Richmond and the stay could accommodate those with or without a car. Will definitely book with this owner again.
I believe the instructions on how to get to the front door could be clearer. Had to contact the owner to ensure I was heading to the right door. Had other people staying in the building attempt to open our door as well.

The location is amazing, the room itself is so cute for a studio. I really enjoyed the updated furniture as the old couch was pretty nasty and worn out.
I guess the listing is confusing because a groups of 5 people tried entering out unit multiple times through out the night claiming they had a reservation there but it was for one of the other rooms. That was very uncomfortable and a little scary.

I chose location that would be convenient to appt we had early Monday near St Mary's (vs driving in 1.5 hours from Northern Neck that morning) and being able to have dinner Sunday night with my son and daughter in law in Carytown.
It truly was "central" as well as full of memories from the years I lived in Richmond and catered up and down Monument Ave!
The West Grace apartment was perfect space for our simple/ quick needs: relaxing, freshening up, enjoying a cup of coffee/ glass of wine (complimentary!), getting a great nights rest, and taking our "country" dog on LOTS of walks around the block!!
Everything we could have needed (and hadn't brought along for an overnight stay!) was there for us.
Our hosts were in contact via email often to guide us thru (simple) check in procedure and to offer helpful hints that could make our stay even more comfortable.
All in all...we felt welcome and comfortable!

The residential location was perfect and within walking distance to several museums, and restaurants in the historic Fan district of Richmond. Off street parking is a huge plus. We also liked that the building was built in the 1900’s and the room still had some of the original fixtures. The welcome bottle of wine, snacks and coffee was such a sweet gesture. The room was very clean and thoughtfully supplied with all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel.
The shower is very small and water did spill on the floor. The kitchen is also tiny. This did not bother us at all because we knew this was an original renovated apartment from the 1900’s, but it may concern other guests. There are also marks on the floor where the old furnaces use to be, but again..no big deal.

it was very clean and well set up. Nice touches like the wine, makeup remover, water, snacks, and linens. Location is perfect and neighborhood was safe to walk around.

great location, lovely clean and quaint apartment. nice touches like coffee and wine. thx so much.
the mattress was quality but the plastic mattress cover and polyester sheets were uncomfortable. we also didn’t like the video going on and off and pointed at us while having morning coffee on gorgeous porch.
