Everyone in the area is so nice! The rental was very nice and clean.

Great property- excellent location

The folks at the property management company were wonderful and it's a great neighborhood. The listing is misleading as it appears to show the 3rd bedroom upstairs but that is a loft space with an extremely low ceiling and was not air conditioned / not a usable space when we were there. There was another mattress in the second bedroom but nowhere to put it. Our daughter had to sleep on one of the couches and we had to scramble for bedding for her. The place was clean but it needs some maintenance. It wasn't obvious from the pictures but it didn't seem like a professionally renovated place - very DIY - not well painted / cabinets hung improperly etc. Looks great in the pics - not as good close up. We still enjoyed our stay but I wouldn't stay there again.

Work trip to Chicago. This is a neighborhood place, but you can walk to restaurants within 10 minutes and even supermarkets are not far. I stayed car-less, but DIVVY and CTA are close by.
Upstairs loft is too low for a 5'11'' to stand, but that's a minor quibble. Just keep it in mind when you plan how many people can stay. This could be fine for two families, with kids sleeping in the loft.

My cousins and I had a great long weekend in Chicago. This property was part of the reason. We had tickets to Second City and were able to walk to the show. One of my daughters lives in Lincoln Park and had made brunch reservations which was also within walking distance. We walked to a historic church and attended services Sunday. We didn’t use an Uber except to and from the airport.
Comfortable beds and very clean.
It would be nice if it were a bit better stocked in the kitchen and bath. There are only four forks, four coffee cups , the wine corkscrew was broken and there were only four sets of towels.
Minor issues, but mentioning because it could be easily and cheaply fixed.

All good, except the stairway leading up to the apartment was unfinished. No handrail, or guardrails in the apartment. Difficult for older folks to deal with, and the stairs led directly into the living area with no guardrails.

Close proximity to fields museum art center of Chicago. Good connection to target for doing small grocery shopping. Attached bathroom in one of the rooms was helpful as well. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils to cook. Great place!

This townhouse was in a great location! It was in a great neighborhood and had nice, comfortable furnishings. It had enough dishes and cooking utensils for easy basic meals and snacks. The check in was easy and we had no problems. There was construction going on downstairs but they didn’t start too early and it didn’t bother us. Easy and cheap Ubers to the city. We also took the train one day and it was only a 10 or so minute ride.
The only very minor issues were the frying pan and pot we used weirdly had oil pooled in them. We easily washed them out. Also the extra comforter we used needed to be washed. So did the covers on the white sofa.
Overall great stay!! We would definitely book it again!!

Very nice property for active adults. It had nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and beautiful hardwood floors. Parking was not too much of a challenge although parking stickers for the zone helped with that, but there was open parking within a block or two most times. There was not a banister going up the interior staircase, and the upper stairway had no fence or rail, so not a good property for younger children. Great location for us!

The home and location was beautiful, BUT it was so hot we had to leave to get a hotel. We couldn’t sleep. The third story felt like a sauna and the second story was just too uncomfortable to stay for long periods of time. To be fair, the home looked like it was still under construction in some places and Chicago was unseasonably warm this week so maybe the older AC was not up to the challenge. We tried to work with the management, and even though they were responsive we’re not willing to extend any Grace.

Beautiful little home on a beautiful little street filled with beautiful brick buildings. Classic Chicago. Overall, everything was well-appointed, nice bedrooms, kitchen, and living room.
The only negative is that parking is heavily restricted. Some landlords will issue day passes, but this one did not. We did find parking two blocks away, which was inconvenient but not a deal breaker.

This condo is in a fabulous neighborhood - beautiful, quiet and convenient. It’s very clean and as shown in the photos. It does feel like a work in progress. The first floor unit is under construction - but no work occurred while we were there, so it was not an issue for us. The unit’s entry has bare drywall and no handrail going up the entry stair as though it’s not yet been finished. It’s also a bit spare on amenities - one lamp in each bedroom, 4 coffee cups, mini mail cooking utensils., etc. Not a major issue for us as we ate out, but if you plan to cook there’s only one small frying pan, no measuring cups/spoons, etc. None of these were major issues for us and could easily be fixed with a few updates. All in all a great place.

Nice, quiet neighborhood centrally located in Old Town and close to the lake. St Michael Church is just around the corner. Fabulous architecture and stain glass windows. Thank you for letting us stay!

Beautiful open living room and kitchen, with two bedrooms at the back. Very kind, friendly manager. Amazing location.

Everything worked out very well for us. The property was a good size, very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Clean , bright and airy. Stephanie was delightful, very responsive and quick with answers to any questions and we really appreciated that. Chicago of course is wonderful and Old Tiwn has so much character. Walking everywhere was wonderful. Highly recommend 😊
