Good location for a quick overnight

This location had alot of negative reviews however the only complaint that I have is there was no microwave in the room, they have the microwave OUTSIDE in the corner on the ground floor. They also only have usable outlets in the bathroom. Other than that the room was clean and spacious, the TV was large and the mirrors were a great addition to the room.

I asked for a non smoking room. I came in the room and the first thing I noticed was smoking in that room, I looked at the smoke detector and it was off. The room was nice but I saw there was 3 flies in the room. I could not get the flies out. Front desk lady was the same one I dealt with last time who did not send room service to clean the room so I did not expect it this time either, she looked like she didn’t want to work there or deal with customers.

It was ok just that there were flies in the room, and I asked for a non smoking room but was given a smoking room. And the front desk girl looked annoyed to deal with me, the same as last time. She clearly doesn’t like her job.

Where do i begin a non smoking room that smells like smoke when u walk in smoke detector covered with tissue. The shower flooded the bathroom because there was no seals to keep water shower had to use majority of towels for that only one wash cloth for 2 people good room for a short stay i guess but not an overnight or longer but ateast it was a short stay with a mini fridge spider webs in corners

This should not be called an hotel, it’s just a motel. No space, the rooms can only fit a small refrigerator, no table nothing. I can tell it was recently renovated but, It wasn’t good.

Loved my time here on 8/13. Parking was easy to find and convenient. Shout-out to the night manager, who I first met at Tremont Hotel. He was helpful and supportive and definitely deserves the boost in business. This is a lovely location. Recommended for sure

Hotel Opus is within walking distance of the bus and subway. There's ample parking. It's relatively quiet. The mall, restaurants, convenience stores, gas station, shopping center, fast food places are within 10 mins drive. It was perfect for my 8 nights stay. Just note, there is no elevator but it's only 2 storeys.

The walls were thin enough that someone having a PARTY for the night could be heard clearly. There were no tables or chairs in the room.

I the staff behaved like they were being bothered. The man we found on duty wanted to charge as more for the room according to him because it was a ‘Friday’ meaning he makes more from people that don’t stay overnight. At this point I told him I will book online as they had better rates. My towels were not changed neither was my bed made. Nice place terrible staff

The sheets had smoke burnt holes, the room smelt like cigarettes/weed even though it was supposed to be smoke free.
It was not a good location if u want to be in the city.

It was the most disgusting place. I stayed at there was roaches. The blankets on the bed had cigarette burns. I checked in And within an hour, I checked out I know I’m not gonna get a refund but it’s a disgusting place. People actually live in those rooms and they rent the rooms by the hour.

There are gigantic mirrors on the ceiling above the beds in every room.

The room was amazing, bathroom was clean. The staff was excellent, I would definitely recommend Opus to family and friends. That’s my favorite spot when I visit the Bronx.

Rooms felt cramped and there was repetitive banging throughout the night which made it very hard to sleep. I don’t think the rooms were fully cleaned out however the bathroom was pretty clean.

The outside of the property was good and clean . The room was average the bed cover was damped and smelled like they just sprayed febreze on it and called it a day, the room had no toiletries such as at least a small toothpaste and soap. The vending machines were not working, the room also smelled like pure weed anyways it’s good for an emergency but not if you are planning a trip.
