About this apartment rental
Close to the fun, yet tucked away for a relaxing mountain getaway in Canaan Valley.
Our Beech Bunny is a 2 bedroom (queen/2 twins), 2 bath first floor (stairs still required), pet free condo at Beaver Ridge Resort. The unit boasts new stainless appliances (including a dishwasher) and mountain chic decor with local art throughout. Look for special touches like the owner's guide to the area, games for the family and all the basics you'll need for carefree packing (linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, condiments, pantry items, detergent and dishwasher tabs). Firewood is provided at no cost and is convenient to access just steps from the front door (seasonal).
Beaver Ridge Resort is perfectly situated between the slopes of Canaan and Timberline downhill ski areas, White Grass cross country ski area, and the quaint towns of Davis and Thomas with miles of hiking/mounting biking trails, local restaurants, shops and art galleries. Tucker County offers four seasons of fun!
Beech Court is part of the Beaver Ridge Complex which offers a heated swimming pool and tennis/basket ball courts. Charcoal grills are scattered throughout the property for use by guests and residents. Beaver Ridge offers direct access to National Park Service trails which link to the Canaan Valley Trail system for world-class mountain biking and hiking. Minutes from local ski resorts and the galleries, restaurants, breweries and music venues of the towns of Thomas and Davis, there is always something to do for everyone in your family.
Unit has central A/C and heat, wifi (sometime it's slow because of the location), and a washer/dryer.
*Winter weather in the area can be intense. While our road and parking lot are paved and plowed, we recommend all wheel drive or four wheel drive during snowy conditions.

Really enjoyed playing tennis and the location being so close to Blackwater Falls!! A nice cozy stay :)

Great location just outside of Davis and close to local attractions. Was clean and easy to get to. No issues for our family of four.

Our hostess provided so many thoughtful little extras. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware as well as cooking supplies such salt, pepper, spices. Extra snacks hit the spot too! Bathrooms were also well supplied for travelers. Thank you.

Nice!

Everything was exactly as advertised and beyond that exceeded our expectations. I can’t rate the cleanliness highly enough. Communication with the property owners was great, additionally their binder of info on check in/check out was fantastic. The decor was all local and so awesome! The beds were super comfy. It was so nice to have two full bathrooms with it being me, my husband and our kids. Additionally, the pool was fantastic!! We had a great weekend hiking and coming back to relax and unwind. We will be back and have already shared this spot with friends and family looking to visit the area. The neighbors that were there were really friendly, too. Thanks for a great stay!

We had no problem with entry to the condo and it was exactly as described in the add. It's quite and cozy. We came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we were very pleased with our choice. It has everything that you need and more. Everything worked as it should and there was extras that we didn't expect. She has citronella candles on the deck so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We really enjoyed our stay and the scenery is beautiful.

This place has a nice mix of group property, with shared pool and tennis courts, and secluded quiet. The beds were very comfortable and everything worked, although the property does show some age. It was very clean (which is not always our experience) and there were a good supply of cooking items and even spices. (If you plan to cut up much, you may want to bring your own knives as the ones there weren't very good.)
Having laundry facilities was a great help, especially for damp pool towels.
We appreciated the selection of coffee, snacks, juice, pancake mix and oatmeal pkts that were provided. I hope we can stay again sometime as we love the area.

This clean and well appointed unit was in the middle of all there is to do in the area. Within 10 minutes either direction you can be at Canaan Valley, Timberline, or Davis. The host has taken time to make the space feel like home with added touches like a full range of coffee and tea, snacks, books, games, puzzles, and more!

We stopped by for a weekend to break up a longer road trip. It was so relaxing! Great spot for stargazing.

We had a great stay and would stay here again! Great hostess too!

Better than described. The little details they thought of are really nice. Clean and good location for exploring the Canaan Valley.

The condo is well kept, clean and comfortable. Amenaties are all there. We enjoyed our stay. One negative note: The stairs were not mentioned in our original booking. Our ages run from 56 to 74 years. Old knees and stairs .... just sayin'.

The condo was lovely with amazing amenities. Very quiet but it was too far from trails, eateries, and other things to do. Had to drive everywhere and there was no view but there was a nice deck.Again very nice but just didn’t include some of the logistics I had hoped for. This was not our first time at Canaan but our first time at this property. Beware, there are steps from parking lot to unit but condo is one floor.

Enjoyed a weekend away in Davis, WV. Was a ladies getaway to get out and hike and see some waterfalls and we did! The condo at Beaver Ridge was in the perfect location to all the spots to explore. Easily accessible and enjoyed the two bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. The kitchen held all we needed. And the porch was lovely in the mornings as we drank our coffee. We loved the selection of books and puzzles for the evening hours.
4.9
The condo was very clean and lots of little extras provided. Communication was fantastic, as well as the location! We would stay here again!

I stayed here with my son for a ski trip. This place was really lovely. Comfortable and had everything we needed. The Keurig machine and Kcups are a particularly generous feature. It was great to have an in-unit washer too. My son appreciated the smart TV. Communication with the host was absolutely top-notch. Highly recommended.

Had a blast wandering around Davis and Thomas. Condo was very cozy. It was great having a fire and playing boardgames in the evening

The condo was very nicely furnished and everything worked well. The property manager was very punctual and supportive when we had questions. It is a bargain compared to most other places in the Valley, although it only sleeps 4. Close to all winter attractions in the area. This was our second time we rented it. Highly recommended.
4.9
The condo was very nice. We were spending time in both the ski slopes and the towns of Davis/Thomas. This complex is centrally located between the two. A few snacks and coffees provided a little something extra. It was nice having a fire after a long day on the slopes and being out and about.
4.9
Comfortable, clean condo close to Timberline for skiing and close to good restaurants in Davis. We enjoyed our stay.

We timed our visit to be at peak fall color, and we were not disappointed! The condo was easy to find, well situated between the two state parks. We appreciated the two bedrooms and two full baths. The kitchen was well-appointed, with thoughtful coffee and snacks. We would definitely recommend staying here and will choose this place again next year.

Close to Blackwater Falls and State Park. Unique shopping. Fireplace was nice also.

Had a relaxing weekend in Timberline Mountain enjoying the Fall color.

Getting in was a bit bumby, code didn't work ,couldn't get a hold of manager, but all worked out well after contacting VRBO.
The condo was nice with plenty of extras , manager contacted in the morning to apologize for mishap all was fine in the end.
Great day of relaxing and exploring Saturday and Sunday. Was a bit rainy Sunday but still enjoyed exploring

Loved the condo and loved Blackwater Falls!

I loved this condo and the location was perfect. The pool was refreshing and loved how close it was to the resort where my conference was, and Davis and Thomas for the quant shops. Loved how the host had everything from coffee, pancake mix, and snacks. Would stay here again. Did not want to leave.

My fiancé, 2 year old and I made a trip to blackwater for the weekend and had a great time. It was SO nice that everything you would need was provided. Ketchup, basic seasonings, pots, pans, cups, keurig, towels, shampoo and body wash. First aid kits! The only downfall of the trip was that the pool rules said no kids in diapers allowed. We didn’t know until after we were in the pool, but we didn’t stay long anyhow and that rule has nothing to do with the lister herself- just a heads up if you bring a little one! We would absolutely stay here again if we made another trip down. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Everything was so easy! Not too far from town.

We had a wonderful stay in West Virginia. The location of the condo is great, just outside of town. We used both the pool and the basketball court and both were excellent. The condo was not clean though. Specifically we found trash/ money under the couch. The shower had hair in it, and under one of the twin beds was tons of trash and a dirty plate and knife. The plate and knife were disgusting, we didn’t find it until the second day but if we were to have saw it immediately we would’ve left. Pleasant condo, but cleaning is definitely lacking.

This vbro is exactly as described in the description and photos. I highly recommend visiting if you are interested in hiking in MD, PA or WV. From an amenities perspective this is primarily an outdoorsy place, lots of kayaking, hiking, rock climbing and skiiing, but you will also find cute restaurants and coffee shops in the loval Davis town five miles up the road.
Overall the property was clean and well decorated. I also want to note that this home owner does a great job of supplying snacks, coffee, tea and water!
4.9
We loved it.
4.9
Communication with the owner was easy and quick. We had everything we needed. Appliances were in good condition and everything worked. Check in and check out directions were clear and easy to follow. The host left a book with useful information about the area. We hiked in Dolly Sods and went to dinner in Thomas (nearby town), which was more appealing to us than Davis.
4.9
Property was very nice and well stocked. Owner was nice, helpful and easy to work with.
4.9
Although we didn't spend much time at the property, it was lovely! Quiet surroundings. Not really hard to find, if your GPS isn't confused!? Close to Canaan adventures and Blackwater Falls. For the outdoorsy adventurer, this place is perfect! Although an iron & ironing board would've been convenient, this condo lacks NOTHING else. We look forward to staying again!
4.9
Perfect location for Canaan Valley and Timberline, Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods. Well stocked kitchen if you plan to do some cooking. Comfy beds.
4.9
5min to downtown, nice property, clean and well-stocked condo. I'll definitely come back
4.9
It’s in the mountains, nice to getaway, but no decent restaurants and shops around. We need to climb many stairs with heavy luggage to reach our room. Others are good
4.9
Cute place wish special touches. The basket of goodies was a very nice touch. We will definitely stay here again!
4.9
A nice, clean and comfortable condo. The condo was conveniently located. Short drive to multiple hiking trails and waterfalls. Also a short drive to the town of Davis and Thomas.
4.9
Enjoyed 2 days of card playing.

We loved everything about this place! The owner was so kind to leave so many things that made our stay better and limited how much we had to pack or buy. Would absolutely stay there again!
