Dublin City (St Stephen’s Green/Grafton St) is 3km away, less than 10 min by Luas (tram, Beechwood stop) which is a 2 minute walk. O’ Connell St is 15 min by tram. Ranelagh is a hub of numerous restaurants and pubs. We love gardening and hope you will enjoy the outdoor spaces with koi filled ponds, large patio area, bbq and gazebo.
The space
Large reception rooms, 4 modest sized bedrooms, large modern kitchen. We love cooking and our kitchen is well stocked with herbs/spices and all modern conveniences.
Spacious living room/dining room/sunroom. There are some musical instruments including Yamaha piano. Smart TV, Bose soundtouch, CD player.
Guest access
1 free parking place across our vehicular access gate which is rare in this area, being so close to city centre.
Other things to note
Security camera at front door.
Strictly no parties or events.
No smoking indoors.
We expect to host only responsible adults/families.
Residential neighbourhood so no noise after 11pm.
This is our family home and we hope that you will enjoy, respect and leave it as you found it.

Location, location, location. This house is in a perfect spot in Dublin 6. It’s on a quiet street just around the corner from a wonderful food store Morton’s and also the LUAS, Beechwood stop, one of Dublins public transportation trams. We were able to get on this and within a few stop be in city centre. Morton’s had a Whole Foods feel to it. We ending up going almost everyday to grab something for dinner. Fresh produce, a butcher, fish monger, fresh breads and anything else you needed. Just about a 5-8 minute walk brings you to Ranelagh Road and there are many pubs, shops and food stores. I really cannot say enough about the location it was perfect for us. The house was wonderful as well. We are a family of 5 and everyone had their own bed and bedroom. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked for what ever you want to cook. We were greeted by the owner Joe who was very kind and accommodating. He lets us know about some of the things about the house and went out of his way to help when we had a few questions about the house. The front and back garden are full of flowers and plants and the Koi pond was entertaining. Some of the fish are over 30 years old. I would highly recommend and if we find ourselves back in Dublin I would not hesitate to stay again.

I had a group of six: 2 couples and 2 singles. Ages 30 through 75. A couple of us have significant arthritis and back issues.
The location is perfect with a grocery one block and the Luas 2 blocks away. Coffee shops, great restaurants within walking distance or quick drive. Restaurant delivery and Cab service quickly available as well.
The property is beautiful! Breathtaking front garden and lovely back garden to sit and enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening cocktail. The house is very nice, clean, spacious and had fresh cut flowers throughout the house. So welcoming!! Bedrooms are all upstairs but even with the physical issues aforementioned, we had no difficulty with them. They are not carpeted as a lot of us in the U.S. have, so we did have to mind our footing if we were just wearing socks. Instructions were noted for everything, full size refrigerator and rooms downstairs to sit and relax after long days of sightseeing.
Check in was nice and easy.
Communication with the hosts was excellent! Very nice, friendly and helpful!
