My six year old and I had a great time here! What a beautiful historic building and nice hospitality. Jacqueline gave us an interesting tour when we got there. Everything was super clean and our room was pretty large and comfortable, with a couple couches and a bed we slept well in. There are fun things to do along the waterfront nearby. Street parking was easy. There was a little activity from the local unhoused folks out on the street in the neighborhood but didn't feel unsafe to us. We'll come back!

Shared bathrooms. Located in poor neighborhood. Had to remove all belongings from SUV and put them in house so car would not be broken into. No elevator so had to carry two heavy suitcases up long flight of stairs. Not suitable for handicap person with mobility issues.

Checking in was hard as no-one was there so to enter I opened a wire gate, then had to haul my case round the building on an unlit path across flagstones set in dirt, case needing to be carried rather than wheeled .
Entry with a keypad, then you arrive in a dark kitchen, are asked to take off shoes in dark hall and carry bags up poorly lit stairs .Room directions were incorrect, and No instructions or password given for how to access wifi, which would have been helpful.
I paid extra for a private bathroom but it smelled so strongly of industrial bleach, to the extent it burned my eyes, that it was completely unusable. I never went into it after opening door once and used the small shared half bath, so that felt like being charged for nothing .
I have lived in 16th and 17th C. homes so do like old houses but the bedroom was full of bits and pieces of ugly furniture none of which added to the comfort of the guest, indeed mostly detracted .There was nowhere to put away clothes, only a rickety rail with three coat hangers.
Bed was wobbly and with a metal back making it uncomfortable to sit up and read , and the mattress was as soft as a marshmallow so really uncomfortable after a long drive. The bedroom also smelled of bleach but in order to open a window I had to haul a heavy table with huge light away from the window. The bleach smell persisted all night, and despite fatigue I woke at 5:00 am, left at 6:00 am, relieved to be gone. Worst hotel I have been in last10 years

What a beautiful property and place to stay! We chose the turret room with the private bathrom, which were delightful, clean, comfortable with sweet details. We are very much looking forward to any future excuse to stay to enjoy the future opening of the bubble room and live music.

The Pinc Lady is charming and lovely. We were met by Jacquline who gave us a tour of the house and told us it’s history. We walked to the harbor and enjoyed the sunset.
There are one or two options to have a private bathroom but we shared one with other guests. It wasn’t a problem, though, as bathrobes are provided and we never had to wait or hurry to use the full bath or half bath.
It was a wonderful experience and I want to go back when the restaurant and other plans are in place.

Our room was super clean, super cozy and had great views! Shared bathrooms are just something you expect and as long as everyone is considerate of others is not an issue at all. I was disappointed we didn't get to meet and visit with the owner, but I'm sure she is very busy, so it's understandable. This is a beautiful home and we will return. Looking forward to making this our home away from home.

We didn't anticipate a shared bathroom, but it was no big deal.
The property is unique Victorian experience which was unforgettable.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating, as well has an explanation to the history of the property. The building is beautiful and can’t wait for it to become a Bed and Breakfast. Everything has been well maintained and it allows you to emerge into that time period.

This property is a dream, an absolute must for a romantic getaway or a trip down memory lane. The owner has done an incredible job restoring it to it’s former glory. I highly recommend it.

We did not have a great time at this location. I would not stay there again. According to the online description, we had to be there between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. We arrived at 4:30 p.m. and were quickly shown around the bottom-story rooms. I thought we could go back and check them out, but we found out that we weren't allowed back into the rooms unless we reserved the entire house.
The online reservation didn't mention sharing a bathroom, which was located at the end of the hall from our room. Although I was excited to use the old bathtub, the hot water came out very slowly, taking 20 minutes just to fill the base of the tub. The shower also had a weak water flow.
The thin walls made it easy to hear the neighbor snoring all night, and we were also disturbed by other guests arriving late, making a lot of noise. The rooms were hot and could have used a fan and a noise maker to improve the stay.
The lack of these amenities was disappointing. If I had known all of this beforehand, I would have chosen a different place to stay.

Our stay at Pinc Lady was great! We were welcomed by Mario and given a lot of information about the area and Inn. It is such a cute Inn with antiques and parlors you are welcome to use. We felt very safe there. I would highly recommend this place!

The Pinc Lady is a historical house that Mario has converted into a hotel. The house is charming and has a lot of history associated with it. Very clean, comfortable beds, and old town is within walking distance. Loved the stay

Good first: the bed was SO comfortable omg. I wanted to bring it home with me! the upgrade due to the confusing check in was very nice and appreciated.
Ok: the room was lovely and at least one of the windows opened with wooden shades that were easy to block light - but no fan so the room was too warm all night
Not good: the separate bathroom was not obvious from booking - it was ok, but I hadn't brought PJs bc it didn't occur to me - so walking around in the hall in the middle of the night when I knew there was a humorless man staying there also was weird - it is listed, but #8 or so on a list of 12 'amenities' for the rooms that you have to click on the individual rooms and read down to find.
Personally annoying but might not have bothered others: i had driven for 6 hours and was tired, and when i called to be let in, the owner who's phone is listed 'doesn't answer it much,' and the lovely son who does all the work was on site but very much busy with renovations, maybe not ideal but i do understand their hands-off business model.
Preference of mine: super weird that a cute house with a full kitchen serves zero breakfast and has a keurig coffee situation and no plain black tea. If you'd like more personal service, food, good coffee, and a more upscale vibe, i'd try the house/inn a block over. I hope some day they have more native bird/bee friendly landscaping also.

Cool place, close walking distance to downtown. Very accommodating for the motorcycles.

Lovely Victorian home that has been mostly restored. Our room (Turret Room) had a lovely view and sitting area. The owner was very personable and friendly. The only issue for us was that the building heat was on a timer and it did not come on as scheduled and had to be turned on manually. The room temperature continued to be chilly and the space heater promised by the owner never arrived. The kitchen was not open, so, no breakfast to review.

No on site food but the owner can point you in the right direction. Was cold at night until I found the little plug in heater (but I am cold generally). Room was cute and cozy. No fireplace; that would have been amazing! Very nice and helpful staff and really good people.

Great place! Super clean, comfortable, and quiet. Don't be deterred by the shared bathrooms. I was there for three nights and it was never an issue.

Such a beautiful mansion, it was perfect for our family holiday. The rooms were clean, we had one with private a bathroom. They gave great recommendations on what to do around town. One of a kind experience staying at a mansion built in 1889.

Staying here is a rare experience .. particularly for those who enjoy extraordinary architecture and a sense of history! Comfortable too, although the corridor commute to the bathrooms might throw some people off (to be expected in a well-preserved house of this period) All in all a very enjoyable stay

Wonderful history and beautiful. I appreciate the effort to preserve these homes. A must for everyone.

This is a beautiful mansion, great location. The room and bathroom felt cold, no individual heater in either room. Thin extra blanket made it warm enough. Bathroom was located outside the bedroom. No shoes allowed in the house, slippers provided. 10 am checkout is early for us.

Absolute LOVED staying at The Pinc Lady!! The hosts are excellent and the house is absolutely beautiful. The detail and woodworking is incredible and original… and the stairs are completely laid with burl. Best place to stay in Eureka!!

Inn keeper was very nice and friendly.
However, the location is not safe with many wandering bums and homeless.
It was very inconvenient b/c bathrooms is outside from bedroom and shared with other people and we have to carry bags for the long and stiff stairs.

Great 1 night stay at this charming mansion. The owners are gracious and were very helpful.

The young couple who manage the property are very nice and try to be helpful but the place is overpriced for the accommodations. The website does not make clear that the bathrooms are shared and although they are kept clean the fact that you have to take your towels and toiletries back and forth is inconvenient. Also you’re not to wear shoes in the inn, there are no comfortable sitting areas Ian’s it’s cold. I was looking forward to this stay being special but it was disappointing

Did not live up to expectations and money spent. Bathroom not connected to room. We thought the “no shoes” policy was quint until we saw all the other rules - no food or drink but no lobby. So where do you drink the coffee they offer. Mixing beautiful antiques with garage sale 70s furniture ruined the inside. We had to leave at 6 am to get to an early winery apt- and the place was impossible to be quiet. Despite our best effort we woke everyone. Stairs so narrow you could not help hit the walls or railing. Never stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pinc Lady Mansion. It's a beautiful and historic residence and our hosts were friendly and helpful. Both our room and the shared spaces were very clean and in great condition. Even though the rooms are close to each other and there are shared bathrooms it still felt very quiet, well laid out and there are two full bathrooms plus a half bath so we never had to wait.
Like many cities these days there are a fair number of houseless people in the area so we felt more comfortable driving than walking too far from the immediate area but we had no real issues. Our hosts gave great recommendations for dining options and there is a nice shopping area in town. We also really enjoyed driving around to see other amazing Victorian homes in the area. We would definitely stay here again when back in the area.

Perfect one night stay. Comfortable bed. Host was remarkable and gave me a tour and history of the mansion. Got in late and was greeted at the gate. Would highly recommend.
