It was a beautiful time spent with cousins and friends. With the river behind the house, we drove a few Miles upstream and floated back to our house. The deck overlooking the river was beautiful, and the deck overlooking the river was beautiful, the fire pit was a bonus. overall it was a good experience
I do have to say the house was quite dirty and could use a very good cleaning and new mattresses in some of the beds!

The river is very tranquil and the house is spacious. Very private and quiet. Short drive to dining or markets.

We came on a buddies golf trip. 11 guys, everyone had a spot to sleep and having 3 full baths was crucial. This house is more camp style in it's accommodations. It may not be your cup of tea if you are expecting everything to be pristine, but for our group it was more than satisfactory. The house comes with several kayaks, a canoe and paddle board that we took advantage of by getting dropped off upstream and kayaking back to the house on the river in the back yard. It's location was convenient for the golf we played in the area - Bahle Farms, Manitou Passage, Champion Hills and the Arcadia courses.

Enjoyed our annual trip to his area. The house was spacious allowing everyone to have plenty of room. The downstairs beds are not comfortable for adults. We enjoyed the kayaks on the upper river and liked being so near the river. A short drive to dining and other entertainment

First of all, the location of this property is absolutely stellar. The property is at a bend on the Platte River with a good amount of private frontage with a swift current, it’s extremely peaceful and satisfying to listen to the water.
The home is nicely laid out, and the kayaks are a nice touch, but there is a level of stinginess that Vacasa has implemented here. Small Hotel style soaps and 1 extra trash bag are inappropriate for a home designed to sleep as many as it does. Additionally, many of the toilet seats are inadequately secured and slip/move a lot. There was far too much recycling that needed to be emptied from the recycling trailer on the property from previous guests. Dust had accumulated on the headboard of The master bed. The WiFi network & password was incorrectly provided by Vacasa. Luckily we figured it out, but the response time by Vacasa took nearly 24 hrs to get back with a reply to us.

The property was beautiful next to the Platte River. The house floor plan and size was perfect but the mold and water issues are a big problem limiting the number of guests that the website offers.

The home is well appointed with plenty of beds and seating for a crowd. The deck is large and amazing for watching the river, soaking up the sun or eating family meals. Our grandkids loved playing in the river and the kayaking was great. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay with extended family. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck on the Platte River and had fun kayaking. The location was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City where we went for more adventures. The house was spacious and great for the size of our family. The kitchen was also well stocked and nice for making meals for our large group.

Having the Upper Platte a few feet from the back porch made this property one of the best I’ve stayed at! Our kids played in the river. My wife and I sat under the stars and shared favorite memories of each day. I really want to come back!
