The cabin was very nice, spacious, comfortable, and of course clean. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets from the deck. We only have three complaints. First, the master bathroom is so tiny which was weird. Second, two bathrooms, including the master had leaky toilets (bad corky flapper probably), so we had to turn off the toilet. Third, the outside decks were not cleaned. Yes I get it's uncovered and outside, but no attempt was made to clean the decks, so we cleaned them as best we could. There was also an issue with a barking dog in the middle of the night (every night) but that has nothing to do with the property.

We were excited to have a few days away from the hustle and bustle of life. Upon arrival, the view was spectacular but when walking through the house, there were many dead flies on the floor in the sunroom, plus in the basement bathroom there were boxes & shower rods on the floor, and an old exhaust fan on the counter. The bathroom was not usable at that point. We reached out to the management company about the boxes and it took half a day for them to respond. They did end up sending a very nice lady to grab the boxes and clean up the bathroom that day. This made us wonder just how well the house was cleaned prior to our arrival. The cushions to the top deck firepit were found tossed on the lower deck couch and the covers to the fire pit chairs were on the floor of the deck and two of them were thrown over the side of the deck on a steep hill, along with a dirty spoon left on the fire pit table. To make matters worse, on the 2nd morning of our stay, we woke up to a foul smell in the kitchen and found a dead mouse in the sink. We have pictures of all of this to show them if they would ever respond. This was the icing on the cake for us and we decided to leave the property a day early. We alerted the management company via their texting system of the issues and that we were leaving early. When following the required list of items to complete when leaving, the trash bins outside that we were told to throw all trash away in were no where to be found so we had to put trash in our car, dispose at the local waste center and had to pay for that too. It has now been 24 hours since we left with NO response or even an apology from the management company regarding our stay and the conditions. Extremely disappointed in this experience. The management company needs to step it up and hire a better cleaning company or the owner needs to find a new management company that will reflect better upon their property.
