This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Getting to the lobby was slightly tricky but had we not been jetlagged, I probably would have seen the sign that said "get on the elevator and go to the 20th floor". The breakfast buffet was very good with a number of options. We chose not to do the buffet every day due to wanting to explore other options but we did eat there 3 out of the 6 mornings. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Overall everything was great and would stay here again. We had a few of the city and off the the side a view of Mt. Fuji!

Spacious room with great view, and great service, Hotel located in a convenient area with several shopping malls around. Walkable distance from hotel to JR stations and local-line station, and sightseeing spots.

I always look forward to my stay here. I visit Japan at least once a year and this hotel is always my go to.

Staff was amazingly helpful, and the rooms were absolutely immaculate.

Check in was awkward. First they could not find our reservation then they could not offer us a room because we were early. After walking around for 3 hours, we stopped by to ask if we could check in and they said it would be more money for early check in. Their English is minimal and they don't have enough language skills to explain leaving a lot to be assumed. Makes a 5 star hotel feel like a 3 star.

There isn’t enough good things to say about the property. I never felt so genuinely taken care of. I’ve stayed at a few Four Season resorts and this is definitely that type of treatment.
The staff really stuck out. Genuine, kind, and thoughtful. On one of the days when it was rainy and windy, the staff brought out umbrellas for us and bid us a good day.
Everything including the room was perfect, and the next time I’m in Yokohama, I will definitely come to stay here again. Thank you so much

Very clean and easy to get to. Close enough to harbor for cruise.

Clean hotel and staff are very nice and helpful. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so there not much going on. Room is a bit small like most of the hotel in Japan. Huge window with spectacular view.

Excellent property. Felt like a 5 star hotel all around with the excellent service and staff. I would definitely stay at this property going forward.

The property was new and clean.I feel the property does not cater to Americans or English speaking clients. There was no English speaking personnel, no English TV.The Westin would have been a better choice for me

The cleaning staff were not doing their job very well, I asked for seven days in a row to make-up my room and they just emptied the trash bin only. Overall, this hotel was perfect.

The pool is amazing here. Depending on weather, there is outdoor hot tubs and splash pool, indoor you can swim (short) laps. View from pool is amazing, and was even open in evening with views of nighttime city lights.
Hotel rooms are huge for Japan, very clean and good amenities. Also, there is a nice bar, also with city views.
The entire hotel is on top of a building and is on floors 20 (lobby) to 27- so every room has a view! Service at front desk phenomenal too, we’re happy to arrange a taxi for me to the cruise terminal. If you get the breakfast-also fantastic with lots of Japanese and western options…

I booked this hotel for the pool option because we were traveling with our 12 year old grandson - little did I know that you had to make reservations to swim but also children could not swim except from 3pm-5pm. Adults can’t swim without relegations! What??
My husband went to the restaurant for lunch and was refused entry- don’t know why..? He had shorts on and a nice shirt!
Very stringent policies. The hotel was indeed beautiful but the stay was ruined with the unfriendly feel of it all.

The sky pool is fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and had good variety.

Love the room we booked - it had a washing machine/dryer combo so we could pack less clothes. Microwave, frig. Spacious room and hotel, beautiful grounds. Indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzis. Staff was very nice and gave us recommendations for where to eat. Within walking distance to train stations, shopping.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the view of the city from the reception area and from the room was amazing, could see Mt Fuji from my hotel window every day .The hotel was exceptionally clean, staff was always helpful and nice. Breakfast buffet was excellent, it had wide variety of options. Fitness room was excellent and clean. The room was huge and had lots of space for your luggage. Location was only short walk about 5 minutes to subway station and there were also shopping centre nearby. I was so impressed with this hotel it was the best I stayed at in Japan. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A new hotel, clean and typical Japanese omotenashi. Usual issues in common with all Japanese hotels with lack of adequate clothes storage (no wardrobe) even for a larger size room. King size room design was visually pleasing but functionally compromised as a result....limited storage, with space compromise for visual effect. Not a fan of this new fashion of having lobby mid building(20th floor) and having to walk through lobby to get another lift to room. Having said that this is a lovely hotel so comments need to be taken in balance.

Property was very fancy, and welcoming upon arrival. Check in was fast, efficient, conducted in English. Hotel was ideally located, short walk from Sakuragicho, accessible by skywalk with free chocolate on arrival. Complimentary water was given every day which was well received. Room was very nice, with beautiful views of the city and Mt Fuji. The bath was very deep and and so accommodated me at 6ft 1 which was greatly appreciated. Bed was comfy and provided western soft pillows which was great. Unfortunately, the room hadn’t been cleaned to the high standard I expected based on the decor and reputation of Mitsui Garden. Numerous long black hairs were present throughout the room and bathroom upon arrival which was a shame. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal, with a lot on offer. Only thing missing was dried fruit to accompany yoghurt and granola.
Unfortunately I was unable to take full advantage of the hotels facilities. The pool and gym closed by 10pm with last entry being before that (9.30). The hotel bar indicated that last order was 10.30pm but when I sat down at 10.13pm, I was told last orders had already been called. I was surprised a hotel such as Mitsui Garden would have such early closures for amenities, especially for the bar and gym which would typically be open until late or 24 Hour.

Nice view, sky pool and Jacuzzi! Close to everything!

The front end staff spoke English. We had no difficulty at all. A pleasant stay. You do have to register to use the pool in a form online. The form is not English friendly. We had to use a translation app. This could be improved. You get to use the pool for 1 1/2 hours to avoid over crowding.
