The place is situated about 20 min walk (5 min drive) from the city center of Perpignan. The gite is well equipped and clean, and the shared pool (only with one other gite) is exceptional - it is big, lightly salted, the temperature is nice, and there is plenty of space around it and sufficient places to sit or lie in the shade beside it. The car can be parked within the compound which is locked - and feels very safe and not locked in. And the owners who live on site - Sue and Steve - are absolutely lovely people who are very helpful and welcoming. We'd love to come back!!!

We had a fantastic family holiday at a lovely gite just outside Perpignan. Traveling with our 9-year-old and 10-month-old baby, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, Sue and Steve. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality made us feel right at home.
The property itself exceeded our expectations. Our private apartment was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, showing great attention to detail. The outdoor saltwater pool was a highlight, offering a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
Sue and Steve were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available for a chat or to offer advice on local attractions and activities. Their genuine warmth and daily interactions made our stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this gite for a peaceful and delightful stay near Perpignan.

We had a great stay. Very centrally located in the region with easy access to the beaches and mountains and at close (cycling) distance to Perpignan centre. A clean house, a supurb BBQ place and an extraordinary pool. And last, but definitely not least, the great and friendly hosts Sue and Steve. Would love to come back some day.

Had a fantastic stay at the Stables, the courtyard with our own outside cooking area was great snd beautifully cared for by Steve and Sue (hosts). Without a doubt though the crowning glory is the pool, it truly was the cleanest, loviest pool we’ve ever used. Steve and Sue we’re available if needed for advice about anything but also very discreet and allowed privacy. We had a lovely holiday and feel like we made good friends with Sue and Steve. Will definitely stay there again if in that area and would recommend to anyone- you will not be disappointed.

This is an amazing property, thoughtfully curated to give one the experience of an idyllic week in the beautiful French countryside close to the city of Perpingnan.
The location is ideal for touring the interesting points of interest in the region or relaxing at the beach although it was a bit windy when we were there. The hosts have gone out of their way to create a comfortable relaxing environment it is truly a special experience to stay in one of their beautiful guest houses.

We had a beautiful relaxing time, loads to see and do in the local area catering for everyone’s taste, from castles, beaches and local restaurants. Sue and Steve are fantastic hosts and everything has been thought of, the icing on the cake is their amazing pool 😊

This was our first visit to Perpignan, and we were looking for somewhere to relax, unwind and de-stress. From the first contact Sue & Steve were amazing and helpful in planning our stay. The property is close enough to local shops, and a pleasant walk into Perpignan itself, although we only went once, as the property itself was so incredible. We were welcomed personally by Sue & Steve, who showed us around and we were instantly impressed. The property was impeccably clean and tidy, the garden with it's Lemon, Orange and other trees well kept, and the large pool was a great way to cool down from the warmth of the sun. All in all the stay was perfect for what we were looking for. We had a fabulous week and would love to return. Highly recommended!

Our family had a lovely stay in August 2022.
The property had all we wanted, a stylish and clean Gite, the pool was fantastic and the hosts - Sue and Steve, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly!
We have re-booked for next year.

Charming property in an idyllic setting. The grounds and pool are lovely. We were happy to chill by the pool and BBQ in the evenings. On other days we went to the beautiful beaches or into the Pyrenees to find cooler lakes. You need a car for the beach. Perpignan is a great place to explore too as is the region. Steve and Sue are amazing hosts - we took on board all of their sightseeing tips and had some wonderful days. We’ll be going back for more.

We stayed at Le Cerisier for two weeks, which is perfect for a family of four. The apartment is well equipped, the area with garden and pool wonderful. Mas Mimosa is situated in the rural outskirts of Perpignan which makes it a brilliant starting point for days at the beach, in the city or in the mountains. What Mas Mimosa makes unique are the owners: Sue and Steve are kind, open minded, young at heart and supportive in all areas: fulfilling extra wishes, sharing tomatoes from their garden, keeping the kids entertained and providing tipps for great holidays.

We booked pre-covid& had several late changes of flights/dates as a result. Sue was great at keeping in touch& being flexible while we resolved this.
The accommodation was well equipped, particularly liked the BBQ area and outside spaces to eat. The courtyard was beautifully maintained& looked lovely when lit at night. The pool was exceptional with plenty of space to relax. Sue&Steve were excellent hosts, very available, friendly& informative about the area. The property is well located for both Perpignan & the beaches, Pyrenees etc. Great seafood available nearby. We felt we would have liked longer to fully explore all the area has to offer.
Hope to return at some point in the future.

The place is gourgious, with a nice atmosfere and clean rooms. We stayed at the Cerise which was wonderful, the kitchen was well equiped and the pool was really good and taken care of every day. Lots of fans hanging in the house which keep you cool. Sue and Steve are nice people, always helping you out with everything you need.

Sue and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and their ability to make you feel welcome but at the same time let you enjoy your stay, is spot on.
The grounds are so beautiful and the pool is excellent, particularly clean and the salt water filtration system ensures that you can stay all day in the pool without the slightest sting of the eye. The pool is also very secure and great for younger children.
The Cerises villa was immaculately clean, really well stocked and ideal for a family of four. The outside private eating area is secluded and great for BBQs.
Steve and Sue had no hesitation in providing toys and activities our children would like and we were immensely grateful given we remained at the villa for the majority of the holiday (we stayed just after lockdown).
Nevertheless there was plenty to do in and around the area, we were just content to spend the time at this wonderful place.
Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. Sue and Steve made us feel so welcome and were always available to answer questions or give advice on what to see and do in the area. We actually booked to stay in Le Cerisier , but once we got there we decided to move to the larger apartment because it was available, and we preferred the larger space for 4 adults. The circular stairs in the Cerisier were a bit difficult for one of our group to climb. Both properties are wonderful, and we would recommend either of them. The pool is beautiful, and the bbq area and patio in each place excellent. We walked into town several times - it is only a 20 minute walk. We would highly recommend these apartments to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you Sue and Steve for making our stay so enjoyable.

We've recently returned from a 10 night stay in Le Cerisier. What can we add to previous fantastic reviews?
The property is lovely, everything that you could possibly need is available, the pool area is fabulous, and the barbecue facilities are perfect. The owners, Sue and Steve are friendly and helpful.
It is a short walk into Perpignan where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars. You will need a torch for the walk home if returning late, or a taxi for @ 10 euros.
Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. Strongly recommend the Gorge of Galamus and the Cathar Castles, the busy but beautiful resort of Coulliere, and a short drive away is the Spanish border. We visited Palomas, a little fishing port.
Nearby beaches are good and local markets are well worth a visit.
Overall, a lovely holiday. Thanks Sue and Steve.

Ceresis was excellent in every way. Everything needed for a great holiday. Smashing swimming pool, wonderful barb-e q area. Nice little terrace to sit out on. Clean linen supplied every week. The DVD did not work, a brand new one was supplied the next day. Could not fault Sue and Steve. Great attention to detail. Secure parking... Even a separate laundry room with washing machine. Lovely couple who looked after us really well. A big thank you to you both

We and our kids loved the saltwater pool and the owners could not be more friendly or helpful. We did not get along with the mosquitoes but it seems we were just unlucky with the season. Otherwise we can only give our warmest recommendations.

I traveled to Perpignan with my wife, our four-month old daughter, and my mother-in-law to stay four nights in Le Cerisier. The property is conveniently located on the edge of town, down a long lane and wonderfully secluded. This was out final stop on a two-week vacation that included Barcelona and Nice.In a sentence, I'm not sure how you can ask for a better experience than the one Sue and Steve delivered us. From the time we arrived on the property, Sue and Steve's warmth and hospitality was impeccable. They took care of all of the arrangements for our infant baby, having staved everything in the room for us prior to arrival. We cooked on their wonderful BBQ, ate fruit from their fruit trees, and our daughter had her first "dip" in a pool, all memories that we will never forget. From the moment they greeted us and showed us around the meticulously kept property, to the moment we left, we felt "at home" - which is the best compliment you can pay a property owner. Until we return, stay well Sue and Steve. Sincerely, Garrett & Family

House tucked away on a lane so very peaceful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom house. Lovely property with stylish rooms and big kitchen diner. Outside is lovely. Plenty of room to eat surrounded by shade and pretty lights. The pool is fantastic. Good shallow but fir toddlers and plenty of room to swim. Salt water so not full of chlorine. Lots of places around it to lounge around and plenty of shade. Sweet garden with good play equipment for children. Very friendly hosts who were lovely with kids. Would highly recommend.
