One of the reasons our guests love the Chalet is that the house is stocked with spices, toilet paper, paper towels, towels, linen, pool/jacuzzi towels, honey, staples such as mustard, ketchup, etc. The kitchen has every appliance you could ask for including an incredible expresso/cappuccino machine and food processor.
Heat and Air Conditioning:
We have a thermostat in the living room, main hallway on the middle floor, primary I on the top floor and a heating thermostat in the Game Room on the 1st floor. There is also a portable air conditioner/heat pump in primary II on the ground floor. The house is very well insulated and needs minimal heat and/or air conditioning. There is a beautiful pellet stove in the Grand Room.
TV and Stereo
We have Sonos systems throughout the Chalet. To operate you must have the Sonos II ap on your phone, I-pad, or laptop. There is an 85” Sony LCD in the living room, 55” LCD in the library, primary I and Game Room. They all have a variety of channels including the major networks, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. If you purchase movies, please leave the cash on the kitchen counter.
Garbage:
All garbage goes in the large garbage bin on the porch on the north side of the house. Garbage pickup is very early Tuesday AM, so you must put it out Monday night. There are two very large garbage holders by the entrance to the house, green for garbage and blue for recycling, not including carboard. Recycling does not have to be bagged. Please leave all cardboard in the laundry room.
Horses:
Our horses are super friendly, and a lot of our guests prefer them so they can have their privacy. If you do not want to feed the horses, just let us know in advance and we will arrange for someone to care for them once a day. The big black horse is a Percheron, his name is Thor, the brown horse is Stranger, and the grey is Strider. If you choose to feed them, they each get a scoop of feed (green Scooper) and a half a bale of hay 2X per day, once in the AM and once in the PM. Always feed them in their pecking order: Thor, Stranger and then Strider. The water buckets must be filled once daily. They love horse treats like carrots, apples, and old stale bread. The horse food, hay and carrots are in the barn.
Cleaning and departing:
We prefer that you remove your shoes upon entering. There is a portable vacuum in the kitchen and a plug-in vacuum in the laundry room. Upon leaving, please put all the linen and towels in the laundry room. Generally, arrival is at 4 PM and departure is at noon. If we do not have a guest in the house or one coming, we are happy to be flexible, but you must contact me first.
Liquor:
You are welcome to use our liquor but please either replace it or leave some cash on the kitchen counter when leaving.

The Chalet was perfect for our family celebration. The weather didn’t always cooperate but there was always something to keep us entertained!
The pool and hot tub were a plus during the heatwave. Amazing grounds, well kept. Beautiful super friendly horses. My husband enjoyed feeding them. Suki our golden doodle warmed up to them and loved running around the grounds!
The house is large but still comfortable and cozy. Super comfortable beds. The a/c kept us cool at all times. There was plenty of space for 7 adults and 1 infant. Big hit with the guys was the smoker grill! The kitchen was a cooks dream. Well equipped for any level of cooking!
Plenty of parking. Perfect location to stores and restaurants.
Brian is a great host. He was available if we needed him. Gracious and made you feel like a friend.
My family really enjoyed their stay! We hope to stay again!

Our family of 10 was in town for an extended family event. There was no room at the inn so the Chalet was perfect. The kitchen was stocked, the living areas were perfect for visiting and the beds were comfy. The Hosts were helpful and the horses were an added treat for the kids and adults. We even had some riding lessons. Thanks for hosting! ❤️

Something for everyone. Better than a
resort. I don't know who enjoyed themselves more. The family or the dogs.. The property is gorgeous. The horses were big hit with my daughter and grandson..The kitchen was amazing to cook in, the TV was better than a theater. The whole family made great memories in the gameroom, I'm so glad we did it. The owner gave us a tour which was so helpful.
And were easy to get in contact with with any questions. We will definitely be back..

The host for this house was amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms clean and the kitchen extremely well stocked for an vrbo. We did not leave the home so cannot speak to the neighborhood or nearby restaurants. We would love to come again! This home is a gem
